Hi Sarah. I’ve been watching this digestive yoga video 4x/week for over a year now (literally). I’ve seen other digestive yoga videos on UA-cam but yours is the one I stuck with watching every other day cause it’s only 12 mns long and it’s at a pace that I wanted. It helped me with my digestive issues so I just wanted to say thank you. I don’t know why I just thought of writing now and not last year lol but I’m so glad I found this video. I stopped going to acupuncture last year. You saved me money! 😀

I feel like I need to tell everyone about this. I’ve literally struggled with bloating for years. I’ve tried doctors, probiotics, food combination, sibo tests, literally everything. Guurrrlllll same. Been overweight majority of my younger years and finally lose all the weight after some time. My arms and legs are already okay but my stomach is still big and bloated. No matter what losing weight do I do, my tummy is always bloated! I felt like ab exercise won't help either. I also don't think it's solely fat because whenever I pinch my stomach, it feels like there is an air on it lol. I also looked at my past toddler photos (It's prior to me gaining weight) and my tummy is always bloated as a child hahahha which is weird lol

This didn’t work for me so I did it three times in one night. Chalked it up to my digestive system being different when it still didn’t work. Little did I know the next morning would bring farts upon farts (& my flat stomach back!). If this doesn’t work for you the first time, keep trying but be warned it might start working hours later so don’t do it before your wedding or something.

this video was so helpful for my anorexia recovery, one of the worst parts about it was the bloating. i did this yoga routine after every meal and it not only helped my stomach feel better, but it also gave me a chance to reflect on how the food that i ate was helping me. so thank you a lot

In the words of my husband “this woman is an Angel!” He was so bloated and gassy and this released ALL of it. I haven’t laughed that hard in a while! 😂😂😂 it wasn’t pretty to watch of smell but it literally saved him. Thank you for this video!

I had a big dinner and felt indigestion. When I get indigestion, I get anxious so that usually makes it worse. I took one alka seltzer with water and waited. It didint do the trick right away. I still felt pretty bloated and icky. Had a mild anxiety attack on the toilet but I breathed for a while and calmed myself. Came to my room, and out of desperation put "exercise to relieve indigestion" your video was first to pop. I'm happy to say it has seemed to do the trick. I feel less bloated and constricted and calm. I'll be trying to out from now on. Thank you.

I havent done yoga in years. I did this and a hip opener and it made me cry. Idk why. I've been having health issues and I feel so much more grounded after this. Here's hoping daily practice aids in my autoimmune battle with my thyroid, IBS, and RA issues. Thanks Sarah
I often do this practice whenever I am constipated or full of gas. Sometimes, it's really uncomfortable or even painful in the beginning, but, by the end, I'm either dashing to the toilet, or laying on my mat in total bliss after passing a ton of gas (and sometimes continuing to pass gas). Thank you so much for making this!
I discovered this routine at the beginning of lock down, and initially I needed to do it daily, now I do it two or three times a week. After a lifetime of struggling with constipation, I finally have a natural way to deal with it...thank you Sarah Beth.

Your way of teaching yoga is wonderful. Very slowly, you are doing yoga keeping in mind the breaths. I am also doing yoga here in India by watching your videos everyday friend.
This is now a part of my daily routine! Not only for improved digestion but also a GREAT short yoga sequence balancing your pelvis, strengthening your back and finding the connection between your feet/pelvic area. Hip opening, twisting in top of that! If I have time for nothing else I never skip this!! Not to mention how it mentally calms you down and aligns you not just physically. Thank you!!!!

I have Crohn's, IBS, Chronic Pancreatis and this has helped me tremendously. My 12yr old daughter suffers from severe IBS w/constipation since birth and she typically poops every 10-15days (that's with taking stool softners, suppositories, drinking warm prune juice and tons of water) and THIS routine is the only way she can poop once a DAY!! I don’t warm the prune juice but this is the only way I can poop also I have to drink prune juice on an empty stomach and one hour later I drink MiraLAX and water before I can go..

This was an amazing routine. I've been struggling with a bloated belly for a long time now, like years. I legit started crying 2 minutes into the session, when my organs and muscles opened up, releasing a ton of built up tension and stress. Afterwards, I'm now expericing a deep sensation of calm and serenity. I've done yoga before, but I took a long break from it. This is the strongest reaction I've ever gotten while doing yoga. @@sarthakq these are spam bots replies, you need to consult your physician for bloating for knowing exact issue, on the other hand I'll help you managing bloating, first you must maintain a good sleeping schedule, if you sleep better your digestion will work better, but if your sleep schedule is good still feel bloated then start brisk walk, cycling, stretching etc, stop taking sugary diets like chocolate, icecream etc, stop eating processed foods, stop taking coffee,tea etc don't consume hot foods, try to eat veggies and fruits as much as possible don't eat apple too much as it increases bloating, don't drink too much water in one go, don't consume heavy meals at night, with this tips you will start noticing difference within 1 or two week and your bloating will be gone after 4 or 5 months even after that follow strict diet for 1-2 years and you'll be cured permanently. if you feel too much bloated take pudin hara 8-10 drops with half cup of water for instant relief.
Hey it’s been a year since you posted this, but you might want to look into POTS! I’ve had similar issues to what you described, and it could be that or another autonomic disorder. This video has been helping me manage some of my POTS symptoms
I've been using this video every night before bed for close to 2 months now for my IBS. Recently, my gas has been much worse, and this has helped so much with giving me relief and making me more comfortable so I can sleep.

This is the second time I did this workout, and this was actually healing for me. When I crossed my legs to inhale and tucked my chin into my chest, I started crying. That particular pose brought me to awareness of unresolved emotions. Once I hit replay and performed the pose again, I resumed crying. Thanks for the healing exercise!

Anyone who has had gas issues for years should try this. I had a colonscopy two years ago because it was that time. Found out I have a bit of diverticulitis and my colon is a tad longer than normal. Who knew?? So having a colon a bit longer actually causes you to have more gas! I never knew why I suffered so for all these years. I've done lots of sarabeth routines with my work buddies, but not this one. Just did this one at home tonight because of bloating and pain, and feel better. Might repeat it one more time.

Hey try to relax like you need to be so relaxed that you feel like you want to sleep. If you feel like you can fart try to fart but don't try too hard. I didn't work for me initially. And make sure to do in on the floor. Hope this helps :)
Aye I do mine twice a day for bloating. Even if you don't release wind your getting your digestive system moving. If you can you might be able to look into self stomach massages. I did mine before and after and it helped. Good luck!
It might be your breathing patterns. Tbh I find that your breathing is really what makes it work for me by keeping a closed mouth (open mouth traps in more gas/air) and inhale like smelling flowers and push out/inflate your diaphragm then exhale like your gently blowing your nose and deflate your stomach slowly. Also, timing with movements like the bridges help like inhale when moving up and exhale when moving down. I hope these tips help but, if not, I’m glad you at least got a good stretch 😊

I’ve done psoas stretches and it makes me sob. Hips hold a lot of our emotions- it’s good to open them and express them!
I often do this practice whenever I am constipated or full of gas. Sometimes, it's really uncomfortable or even painful in the beginning, but, by the end, I'm either dashing to the toilet, or laying on my mat in total bliss after passing a ton of gas (and sometimes continuing to pass gas). Thank you so much for making this!
So this has helped with constipation too? That's good to hear, luckily I'm just bloated is all.

I discovered this routine at the beginning of lock down, and initially I needed to do it daily, now I do it two or three times a week. After a lifetime of struggling with constipation, I finally have a natural way to deal with it...thank you Sarah Beth.

Not only for improved digestion but also a GREAT short yoga sequence balancing your pelvis, strengthening your back and finding the connection between your feet/pelvic area. Hip opening, twisting in top of that! If I have time for nothing else I never skip this!! Not to mention how it mentally calms you down and aligns you not just physically. Thank you!!!!

I have Crohn's, IBS, Chronic Pancreatis and this has helped me tremendously. My 12yr old daughter suffers from severe IBS w/constipation since birth and she typically poops every 10-15days (that's with taking stool softners, suppositories, drinking warm prune juice and tons of water) and THIS routine is the only way she can poop once a DAY!! Skip the prune juice and just eat an actual bunch of prunes.... helped me tremendously

This was an amazing routine. I've been struggling with a bloated belly for a long time now, like years. I legit started crying 2 minutes into the session, when my organs and muscles opened up, releasing a ton of built up tension and stress. Afterwards, I'm now expericing a deep sensation of calm and serenity. I've done yoga before, but I took a long break from it. This is the strongest reaction I've ever gotten while doing yoga. @@sarthakq these are spam bots replies, you need to consult your physician for bloating for knowing exact issue, on the other hand I'll help you managing bloating, first you must maintain a good sleeping schedule, if you sleep better your digestion will work better, but if your sleep schedule is good still feel bloated then start brisk walk, cycling, stretching etc, stop taking sugary diets like chocolate, icecream etc, stop eating processed foods, stop taking coffee,tea etc don't consume hot foods, try to eat veggies and fruits as much as possible don't eat apple too much as it increases bloating, don't drink too much water in one go, don't consume heavy meals at night, with this tips you will start noticing difference within 1 or two week and your bloating will be gone after 4 or 5 months even after that follow strict diet for 1-2 years and you'll be cured permanently. if you feel too much bloated take pudin hara 8-10 drops with half cup of water for instant relief.

Hey it’s been a year since you posted this, but you might want to look into POTS! I’ve had similar issues to what you described, and it could be that or another autonomic disorder. This video has been helping me manage some of my POTS symptoms

This is the second time I did this workout, and this was actually healing for me. When I crossed my legs to inhale and tucked my chin into my chest, I started crying. That particular pose brought me to awareness of unresolved emotions. Once I hit replay and performed the pose again, I resumed crying. Thanks for the healing exercise!

Anyone who has had gas issues for years should try this. I had a colonscopy two years ago because it was that time. Found out I have a bit of diverticulitis and my colon is a tad longer than normal. Who knew?? So having a colon a bit longer actually causes you to have more gas! I never knew why I suffered so for all these years. I've done lots of sarabeth routines with my work buddies, but not this one. Just did this one at home tonight because of bloating and pain, and feel better. Might repeat it one more time.

Hey try to relax like you need to be so relaxed that you feel like you want to sleep. If you feel like you can fart try to fart but don't try too hard. I didn't work for me initially. And make sure to do in on the floor. Hope this helps :)
Aye I do mine twice a day for bloating. Even if you don't release wind your getting your digestive system moving. If you can you might be able to look into self stomach massages. I did mine before and after and it helped. Good luck!
It might be your breathing patterns. Tbh I find that your breathing is really what makes it work for me by keeping a closed mouth (open mouth traps in more gas/air) and inhale like smelling flowers and push out/inflate your diaphragm then exhale like your gently blowing your nose and deflate your stomach slowly. Also, timing with movements like the bridges help like inhale when moving up and exhale when moving down. I hope these tips help but, if not, I’m glad you at least got a good stretch 😊
