WHY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH…
We suffered from high-functioning loneliness and depression our whole lives. We lived different lives in different states, but when we met, we realized we were struggling with common issues that reflected an important problem in our young adult generation. We didn’t know who we were, what we were passionate about, what we should live for, and what direction our lives were “supposed” to go. We spent a lot of time wandering in search of that magical ‘answer’ that will solve all problems (like I’m sure most of you are doing right now), and yet the further we searched outside, the more pronounced the emptiness inside of us felt.
Millions of people suffer silently from mental health related issues. Yet our society still places taboos around openly talking about relevant mental health topics like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. As a result, our young adults don’t know how to talk about it constructively, where to turn to, or what resources they have to combat this real-life threat to their wellbeing.
We credit Brain Education for giving us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want...and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.

This was exactly what I needed. I'm so grateful for you and for this video! I'm over 300 pounds and I have decided I need to start moving my body in gentle, loving ways instead of the intense, all-or-nothing exercise routines I've attempted in the past. After two days at the gym, my body was pretty stiff. This routine was gentle, accommodating to a larger body, and so relaxing and invigorating! (As in, my body feels so relaxed, but my mind is ready to go because of the stress relief!)
Honestly, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Other chair yoga videos involve standing or using the chair as some weird prop for extreme stretching. This was absolutely not that, and I'm so glad.

Ty! After a hip replacement 6 yrs ago, bursitis, 3 yrs of cancer treatment plus surgery I had almost seized up despite working as a domiciliary part time and on my feet a lot. I decided to take the bull by the horns as they say and do something about it, I have found yourself and another yogi and within a few sessions am finding myself loosen. I can’t sit on my bum or cross legged on the floor due to hip and arthritis in lower back but this is gradually stretching me, I’m in no doubt a few weeks will make all the difference! 🙏 ❤

I was feeling sore and looking for a short chair yoga video to do at my desk. The last thing I needed to watch was another thin white lady doing yoga on youtube. I'm so glad that I found this!
Big same. To see her in loose, comfy clothes was so inviting. Like, yes! I don't need to be "aesthetic" in order to do yoga. I can be myself.

Thank you for this video ❤. I have arthritis in my lower back which is very painful everyday 😢. Doing your stretches and wiggles every morning has made a miraculous difference. I've been doing them daily for 2 weeks now and the change is amazing. The pain and constant grabbing in my lower back is pretty much gone, I'm so grateful for you ❤. I cannot imagine how my back will feel in a month from now and beyond if the difference in just 2 weeks has changed my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤❤❤❤❤

I’ve been having really bad shoulder/neck pain every day from an injury last year that just won’t heal, to the point where it hurts to shrug even a little. I did this video before going to work 3 days ago, and the pain has been almost totally gone! Thank you! ☺️

I broke my ankle pretty badly and have been lying on my couch since Christmas. This was a much needed bit of exercise and a reminder at just how stiff we get when we don't move our bodies. Thank you!

I was a bit nervous about doing something physical since my ankle injury and subsequent surgery. Yet, this was perfect for the first try. I can feel it in my body and my mood is better.

I get not enough sleep and ordinary exercise seems too much. Chair yoga feel manageable and I actually feel better.
