@@ArtbyPaulClark you're welcome 😊 I'm following your tutorials nearly a year and I am able to do a well in Watercolour...
You are so good at explaining, i enjoyed that, thankyou.
Hi Paul: those fruits are Cheremoya and here's a detailed description: The flavour is a heady mix of banana and pineapple with perhaps a little strawberry and kiwi thrown in. Its fruity taste is light and refreshing, but the white creamy, custardy texture is also pleasant and comforting to eat. Like a homemade pudding made virtuous - that's the beauty of the cheremoya. Thank you for your very interesting and helpful demos mixed with humour.
I disagree. The leaves aren’t right. It’s a type of Magnolia tree. I grew up with one in my yard. Those are seed pods, and burst open with deep red seeds.
In Australia it is called a “custard apple” grown in the tropical north of Australia. Delicious.😋
@@leannnewton1 you are correct. I live in Florida and see them all the time.
Putin began the bombing the nuclearpower plant. Hes aim to force Ukrain army surrends. Wat do you think will happen with you and your children if reactor explodes? Is Chernobyl not enough for you? May be yoy think that this is not possible? Was the war between Russia and Ukraine possible ten days ago. Why dont your goverments declare the sky of Ukraine the no fly zone?😢😢😢😢

Yeah, me too!
Yes. Come to Canada!🇨🇦 I’m trying to convince my husband that it would be a great idea for us to go back to the UK for a holiday so I can take your classes. He can go to the pub.
That would be wonderful trip…and to see Paul..yes, hubby can go to pub. LMHO.

I watched this again. Your point about sketching is so important. I should be doing more pencil sketches as I feel you watching this proves we learn more about tonal values and perspectives. Good pointers Paul
Glad it was helpful!
Your advice and suggestions are wonderful and so helpful. Thank you for clarifying some of the fog💜
You are so welcome!
This was very helpful. Thank you and look forward to your future trips to the US.

Oh thank you!
Saw Meera Ahuja’s invite to India. Please come to south too , where I live.Don’t remember how I got introduced to your UA-cam videos, but I consider it the biggest blessing I had recently. Never knew I had an artistic side till I dared to try watercolour from your lessons. Today’s class also was a fountain of valuable information. Always wanted to paint loose and going to try your way. Please do a full UA-cam lesson on loose painting style. Waiting for your trip to India and more inspiring classes.
Enjoyed this, very helpful. I do so appreciate your tutorials. Thank you. Barbara
Glad it was helpful Barbara!!
Ah, what talent!
Come to Vancouver Island Paul. The scenery is stunningly beautiful. Thanks for the tips.
Thank you, Paul.
Greetings from Poland🇵🇱
Thank you Paul , interesting Q&A , you covered some good points xoxo
Those "hand grenade fruits" look a lot like Custard Apples. Great instructional videos, Mr. Clark!
Glad you like them! - thanks for the info!
@@ArtbyPaulClark You're welcome! I've read that the green variety are also called "Sweetsop" or "Sugar Apples". When ripe, the white inner flesh is very sweet and has a soft, custard-like texture. Where I grew up, we called them "Atis".
Thank you Paul. Would love for you to come to the other side of the pond. Will be looking out for some dates. I live in Maine which I say is an artist paradise
Oh my gosh!!! Visit to North America!! Please include Montreal. That would be outstanding!
I learn something new every day. More pigment into damp watercolor to prevent backruns! Now I know...and how to prevent it. Thanks for these tips! 👍🏻
Happy to help!!!

Thankyou for these helpful answers. Liking your big 12 round I tend to shy away from the big brushes as I always have to much water.😊
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you. Always helpful.
Glad you enjoyed it!

It might be a magnolia tree bloom after flowering …..maybe 🤷🏻♂
At least that is what they look like in the States.

I bought your book a month ago, so it’s clearly all sorted. Great guide to have it..love it😃
Awesome, thank you!
Very helpful hints! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
thank you very much for this helpful video!
Dear Paul, I'm glad I was able to watch the video. I learned a lot from it. The show of loose painting - without drawings - impressed me. I do not deny that it presented one of the most spectacular parts of Budapest (Hungary). I'm going to practice this loose painting, you just gave me enough inspiration. Thank you very much.
You are very welcome
Awesome! very grateful for this Q&A. Recently start to follow you and very pleased with every tutorial, greetings from Caracas, Venezuela.
I learned a lot!! Thank you so much!! :)
It is interesting your answer to how do you know when one has become an intermediate or advanced watercolor artist. Experience. To that I would like to add confidence. I for one only painting watercolor for roughly 5 months now, can say my confidence has grown the more I try new techniques and feel my color mixing strength is becoming second nature and take a leap and make mistakes. I watch your videos and other artists videos as well, Jenna Rainey, Matthew Palmer, Matthew White over and over taking away more each time. If not for all of you, I would never have even attempted it. So for that I am so deeply grateful. I am 64 and wish I had done this years ago yet that’s ok as now I know how I want to spend my retirement hours. Gracie mille!
Great comment Charlene and Gracie mille to you too!
Definitely helpful advice from you. Thank you! :)
The tip about making sure you use less water when adding another color was the knowledge I didn't know I needed! Thanks for all of the videos. I'm glad you will still be doing some even though your class is meeting in person! Also really excited about your USA visit!
What USA visit? When? where?
@@saravasura1076 he didn't say, just that it was a possiblity 😂
I always enjoy your videos because you're so kind. Thank you for all the great instruction. I love the part about very few brush strokes and not mudding the paper - this is something I tend to do.🤷 I want to see results now, not gradually 😅
You are so welcome!
I hadn’t even thought of you coming to the US! Great idea!!! Please do. May I suggest Alabama, gulf shores. White sand beaches, amazing wildlife, gorgeous sunsets. 😉
Thank you, as allways a great teaching moment with humor and good vibe. Good luck with your classes and wish i could be there in person. Say hello to Margot from beautiful Romania. I submit my place for visiting , great mountains, the Black Sea is not really black, Danube Delta is an unic place in Europe, very nice old cities and great people and delicios cuisine. Sorry for my poor englush.
You are very very good and I love your paint ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌺🙏🏻👍
