Sorry to hear about your storyblocks experience. :( For stock photos, I don't recommend Alamy. Their batch acceptance/rejection method is horrible. Say you upload 50 images, they will randomly select one and your whole batch will either be accepted or rejected based on the one photo.
Oh mannn yeah we've experienced that a bit with Alamy. We were able to get most of our stuff through with them, but just no sales! We were posting regularly for 3 months and didn't see a single sale. Still checking back every month to see if anything has changed.... so far nothing still!
Have you guys tried uploading to StoryBlocks/ VideoBlocks? How has your experience been? So curious to hear other people's experiences - particularly newer first time contributors!

Great to know that you had some sales! Yes, we too have made some sales but not as many as we had done so far in October. Another week and half to go, so fingers crossed. Nope we don't have anything seasonal.
"Read into little bit more?" Lol guys.., you should read all the rules and regulations when signing up as a contributor. It seems like you just created an account without reading anything and started uploading like crazy.. Lol
