How has this been four years? Such an informative and entertaining camera review. This is what sealed the deal for me deciding to buy an A7iii and with no regrets. Great to see y'all still going at it and off to new adventures. Thanks Chris and Jordan!
You took the words right out of my mouth. I went from a canon rebel XSi to a sony a7ii after watching the camerastore review of it, but after seeing this video I knew I had to switch to the a7iii and I never looked back. Glad to see other people going through the same experience/revelation lol
My thoughts exactly. The grading, framing, audio, tripod & gimbal use - everything feels really on-point. Even the scripting feels better-paced and more on topic, but there's still humor. I sincerely hope every video hits this level of polish.
Congratulations on joining DPReview guys. Previous subscriber on The Camera Store TV and now subbed to DPReview. I unsubbed when Kai and Lok left DigitalRev, it shows the power of strong hosts. Here’s looking forward to some great DPReview content.
Congrats guys! I’ve always been a fan of you both. There’s a reason DP brought you onboard so please maintain your style. Please do more lens reviews especially with the 3rd party developers like Tamron, sigma working to provide high quality more affordable alternatives to the big boys.
It is so good to watch the second A7III review from you guys finding there is more useful information than the previous one. Good to see you at DPReview and wish it all goes well.
A very cool move, especially as it means I now finally have more subs than Chris and Jordan! Er, for about another three hours. Good luck fellas and see you soon. x
Congratulations! It makes so much sense to team up with the DPReview lab team. We're looking forward to the upcoming videos ... and may your suitcase filled with inspirational Canadian snow always be with you! 🍻
I've been subscribed to TCSTV for about 5 years and it's been really fun to follow you on your journey. Really happy for you guys, and of course I've subscribed to this channel as well :)
Hey Chris and Jordan, I've been a subscriber to the Camera store TV for years, I'm a filmmaker and I've loved watching your videos for reviews on lenses and cameras. Having seen so much of your stuff, this new video is the highest quality I've seen. It's obvious you guys have a bit more time to make your videos (like you said in your stream), and it really shows. Congrats on the new move, I think this is going to be a great partnership for you and DPreview which I knew about but never really visited. I'm subscribed now and I'm really looking forward to the new videos you guys will make. Bravo, and hopefully the subscribers shoot up like a rocket.
1.) It's DPRers. 2.) It never ceases to amaze me that people just don't understand how folks like you thrive on being as unbiased as possible when producing a review. It's a sacred thing, to be able to produce content, whether reviews or tutorials, in which you can express your thoughts completely unrestricted. Oppositely, when someone is just flat-out pimping a product that they were given for free in exchange for review, (and that's the best-case scenario; it gets worse from there) ...then viewers can smell it from a mile away. So, kudos to you guys for scoring this gig. I'm honestly jealous! Keep up the good (and entirely unbiasned) content.
Chris Niccolls yeah...to me , the main reason to tune in to TCSTV was your bluntness..your honesty..and the fun. ;) There's no BS. And you are good at what you do. Now.., you've got to raise the bar ! This video is a good start ;). It shows!, that little bit more care (and time to be able to care, off course) and one can already see where you're aiming to improve . Cheers from Portugal . Keep those videos coming.
Agreed, as a product reviewer myself, the number one thing that seems to be missing from most others' reviews is a sufficient amount of "alternative options" comparisons. Most of the time, unfortunately, this is because either the reviewer simply hasn't had much experience with the full range of options, or they don't want to displease whoever "supported" the review.
Great review guys, I got a shock when I watched your last Camera Store video, my first thought was I hope you are not becoming bankers or something, but hey here you are with DPReview my internet home from home. I hope that you guys will contribute to the DPReview forums as well, especially to talk a bit more about cameras you have just reviewed. That would be the cherry on the cake as far as I am concerned.
Well we absolutely hope we can bring a new flavor to the channel. Expect the same combo of entertainment and information. Thanks for supporting us! Chris@DPRTV
I don’t know why, but every now and then, I come back and watch this episode again. This video was one of the reasons I pulled the trigger an the a7iii in December 2018. 2.5 years later, I’m still very happy with the camera. Sure I’d love the extra resolution that the a7riv offers or the video features the a7siii has, but for an amateur, this is still plenty of camera and I imagine I’ll stick with it until the a7iv comes out and probably longer. BTW, you guys rock. By far the best camera channel on UA-cam!
Went to tcstv, had a heart attack, went here & subscribed. Good luck from the Netherlands, guys! Just got the A7iii, so glad the review was mainly positive :-)
Nice to see you're keeping the great Canadian landscapes in your new format. We the viewers want the fishing episodes to continue! Or at least I do. All the best at DPR, and good luck with the 'frozen balls"! ; )
You now have the most authoritative photo channel. Great job. I would like a few more tech conclusions from the dp lab. And too bad you didn’t have much green to shoot but The Sony greens are bad enough to stop me from buying this camera.
Great move on the part of both you guys and DPReview. Looking forward to watching your reviews in the future and great review of this fantastic camera.
Congrats Chris and Jordan! Longtime follower and now looking forward to what you guys do with this partnership. Also, thanks for playing “Don’t Stop” from the Party Hard game during the Pinbar section...this’ll be stuck in my head again for the next few days.
This partnership sounds like the very best of both worlds. The best text reviews with the best video reviews. I just hope that you find something to do with your original channel though. Congrats :D
BEST INTRO EVER! Congrats guys! You couldn't change channels in a better intro lol And congrats for the DPReview partnership! You deserve guys deserve!
Very good. Maybe throw in a quick bit of science from the DPReview guys on some of the features of new cameras. Some of us are fine with reading 10 page dissertations of how Back Side Illumination works and affects the sensor capabilities, but a quick 30 second run down of the basics would be helpful for many people. You could even have somebody at DPReview record it and edit it into the show.
Congrats on your move, guys. Loved your TCSTV material and glad you've continued your style of friendly, casual, balanced reviews aimed at the likely users of the particular equipment you're reviewing. Great job guys and best wishes going forward. Subscribing to DPReview.
Please tell me you’ll still have your year end ‘best of/worst of’ with drinking games...or is that a no-no now that you’re corporate? lol - new subscriber
Congratulations Chris and Jordan, , I would like to hear more about how this change came about, did Dpreview ask you guys out of the blue ? please fill us in on some details, and is the Camera Store going to replace you guys and keep putting out videos ? and Please try to be the first to do a review of the New Tamron 28/75 f2.8 E mount, and maybe a comparison with the GM on an A7r lll, sharpness, contrast, focusing, resolving ability
Its something we've been working on for awhile. We certainly hope TCSTV will continue to flourish with the new hosts, Dave and Ev, at the helm. I desperately want to get my hands on the new Tamron 28-75. Very excited to see how it performs. So far there new line of lenses have been decent performers. Chris@DPRTV
Congrats on the DPreview move Chris and Jordan! Sad to see the end of the TCS era but i assume it was a move for the better! Excited to see more of what is to come! Great first review with DP!
Followed you guys for quite a while, your always very honest and truthful your revue of the Fuji XT2 persuaded me to buy one and I have not been disappointed. Good luck with your new venture
First step would be to change that old forum interface where you have to see each answer separately. I'm avoiding dpreview pages for that reason. 90s are long gone, guys.

This is awesome guys, happy DP review is keeping the real camera guys around. This is a great move for the both of you, DPreview is not selling out and it is right on par with what you guys already do and the way you compose yourselves. Seems like a perfect fit for everyone.
Congrats on the new gig. I hope that means we get content more frequently now. Please don't change anything as we've loved your videos at The Camera Store. I see you two as the friendly human interface to the nerds and tech data of DPReview.
I wish you guys all the best in your new venture! I love your reviews, and would probably watch any show you guys made, even if it was about hockey, lol. To me, the details of your show don't matter that much, it is the personality and honesty that you bring that is the most important and enjoyable. :)
Congrats, Chris and Jordan! You two have been my favorite reviewers along my photographic journey. Even though my GAS is in remission at the moment, I'm always entertained by your content. Good pick up, DPReview!
I have definitely come along with you guys from the camera store to DPReview, of which I have been a fan for years. Just happy to see you two sides team up~
Awesome to see you guys still hanging in Calgary! glad to see you guys still giving us the reviews we need/want! Cheers to many more years of success and ... you almost have be buying a A7iii for my photography... almost..
Here’s to hoping I’d now have two favourite UA-cam channels! DPreview and TCSTV! You guys are such a great team and the episodes where you and Jordan go head on, like the rx100 vs lx10, were magical. I hope to see lots of those.
I have a question for you Jordan, I have a GH5 and A6300 already but I really want a A73 or GH5s . Which to you has less noise with more detail up to ISO 12800?
Great guys, i was subscribed already, but dpreview was always lacking something in the youtube channel, you are the perfect match for it. Congrats you deserve it! Best regards!
All your "balls in Canada are frozen"? That is too funny just thinking about it. Good luck guys on this new journey. Wishing you continued success in all you do.
Congratulations Chris and Jordon! You two are an amazing combo for reviewing the camera on two important areas - image and video. I have been a fan for a long time and probably watched every single video you guys made so this is a step forward. You both are highly professional, fun to watch and most importantly unbiased. The value of DP Review as a company just increased. They are lucky to have you on board. Best of luck!
So happy for you guys! I got worried, when I saw "Chris and Jordan's Last Show" -title, but now that I know, where to find my favorite hosts, everything's good again ;) Subscribed!

the quality of production is incredible
fantastic new partnership

Thanks! The extra time to shoot these episodes should give every episode a new level of polish!

Thank you so much. We need the support to grow this channel and we thank you for it.
Chris@ DPR TV
Great first episode guys!! 👌 loves the intro (and everything else) congrats on the new venture, I’m really excited for you guys!
Thanks Max!
I could have watched 10 more minutes of this, and congrats on the move guys!
And it’s pronounced DPeeps
Tyler Stalman same here, at first is was thinking that 19:20 would be quite the sit but now I’m surprised it’s already finished!
I thought it was a little short as well! Not sure if it is because the content is engaging or if it really was a shorter review.
Tyler Stalman DP REVIEWIES!!
Wowwwww Chris and Jordan!! Wowwww, I must be in heaven now. So stoked for the future of DPReview in UA-cam.
24 mega Niccolls?
Frightening thought...a DPReview hostile takeover... ;-)
bajigurwedangronde “ . . . this 24 mega-nickel sensor . . . “ 😂 What a way to launch their first video with dPreview!
LOL, I was like wait... did I hear that right?? haha
15:27 --- Pinky and the Brain.

A very cool move, especially as it means I now finally have more subs than Chris and Jordan! Er, for about another three hours. Good luck fellas and see you soon. x
I love your rap featuring with Kai ... but you never do that on your own channel :( LOL
And Gordon Laing with the smack down haha 😆
There's a shift on the horizon for sure, I never subbed to DPR in the past, and here I am ... they knew what they were doing
Thanks Gordon! See you very soon. Enjoy your viewer dominance over us, you deserve it.
Chris@DPRTV
I'm not sure you'd welcome much more of my rapping!
I am often asked which UA-camrs I watch - THESE GUYS! They are entertaining, they are SMART and they just consistently create great videos.
Thanks Toby! Your show rocks as well!
Congratulations Chris and Jordan! I’m glad you two are still going to work together and also excited for your future with the show!
I usually watch your reviews on tcstv channel. Now that you guys have moved to dpreview, I clicked subscribe button right away.
Thanks! We'll make it worth the effort!
Congratulations! It makes so much sense to team up with the DPReview lab team. We're looking forward to the upcoming videos ... and may your suitcase filled with inspirational Canadian snow always be with you! 🍻

New digital home, same excellent content from two smashingly handsome faces.
Thanks Caleb!
Best review on the internet right now. Great work guys! Oh and very authentic and organic collaboration so much respect for that as well.
Thanks! It's going to be a fun ride!
congrats on the new gig, Jordan and Chris. This channel was boring, but i will be sure to watch the videos here now.

Great move on the part of both you guys and DPReview. Looking forward to watching your reviews in the future and great review of this fantastic camera.
Congrats on your move to DPReview! Watching from Winnipeg and happy to see you're both staying in Canada too!
Good to see my favourite youtubers moving up. Subscribed!
Thanks Liam!

'no one will use this for vlogging' - challenge accepted my friends ;)
PS. congrats and good luck at DPreview!
Why did he say that?
Finally DPReview with some great video reviews. Good luck fellas!

We will miss the intro music and "welcome to tcstv"
Same here... ☹️
It will still be there :) Just different hosts.
That track is 'The Legend' by my old band 'Platinum Alibi'. The track is on iTunes.
Jordan @ TDPReview TV
I agree.
Sameeee
Well done fellas, IMO, you are the most trusted video reviews of cameras on the net. It makes total sense that you move on to DP Review.
Wow! I'm really glad for you guys. You are the perfect for DPReview.
Just WoW! Favorite reviewers and youtubers combined = Favorite UA-cam Reviewers!
Please tell me you’ll still have your year end ‘best of/worst of’ with drinking games...or is that a no-no now that you’re corporate? lol
- new subscriber
Were gonna keep doing those for sure. Thanks so much for the subscriptions!
CHRIS@DPRTV
You held your word, yay
Loved your reviews at TCSTV for years, and will continue that trend here. Congratulations on the move - will be great for you and all of us I think.

"All of our balls our frozen" - Glad to see you guys haven't changed!! :D
but freezing balls need to warm up by now
You guys have brought the bar for DPReview reviews up several notches. Now we are talking. Excellent acquisitions, both of them.
You the best Chris and Jordan, this video is full of MegaNichols. Keep up the easter eggs! Good Luck Guys! :0
No need to change anything guys, it's still a great delivery format and now your paired with a great sponsor. Keep up the great reviews.
You guys are killing it, congrats!!!
Congrats on the DPreview move Chris and Jordan! Sad to see the end of the TCS era but i assume it was a move for the better! Excited to see more of what is to come! Great first review with DP!
There will be 2 new hosts for TCS TV, Dave Paul and Evelyn Drake. We're very excited for their new show and hope everyone will tune in

Chris and Jordan, love you guys and keep it up!
Pick up the A7III last week and absolutley love it. Been taking pictures like a madman and even did a few vlogs with it.
**CANADIAN PHOTOGRAPHERS AROUND THE COUNTRY UNITE** with this brilliant move on the part of DPReview... bravo!
Congrats on the new show/channel, fellas! Really enjoyed your camera store content and will expect nothing less here.
Great to see the duo stick together!
By the way, I noticed when I subscribed maybe an hour ago it was 63k and now it's 65k!
The only reason I'm subscribing to this channel is two of you! Always informative and sometimes (yes sometimes) funny. Keep up the good work!
Please keep the 'Unsung Cameras of Yesteryear' series going, too :)
Followed you guys for quite a while, your always very honest and truthful your revue of the Fuji XT2 persuaded me to buy one and I have not been disappointed. Good luck with your new venture
make dpreview great again
impossible
First step would be to change that old forum interface where you have to see each answer separately. I'm avoiding dpreview pages for that reason. 90s are long gone, guys.

I was expecting Jordan to slam on the brakes when they were told to stay in Calgary there. Lol.
Congrats on the new gig. I hope that means we get content more frequently now. Please don't change anything as we've loved your videos at The Camera Store. I see you two as the friendly human interface to the nerds and tech data of DPReview.
Thanks for sticking with us John! You've given us plenty of great feedback over the years!
I wish you guys all the best in your new venture! I love your reviews, and would probably watch any show you guys made, even if it was about hockey, lol. Congrats!! Love the content - keep up the great work! 👍
Thanks Chris!
Wow Chris and Jordan, thats gonna be great. 2 of the best reviewers on yt. I still can’t get over the DP in dpreview though.
The Mega-Niccolls race has begun!
Great new team: the the technical knowledge of DPreview and the charisma and great communication of Chris and Jordan! Keep up this great work!
Congrats! I hope you guys review the BMPCC 4K
I have definitely come along with you guys from the camera store to DPReview, of which I have been a fan for years. Just happy to see you two sides team up~
What what what?! Interesting move, it'll definitely bring me back to DPReview.
Yay! Please subscribe and watch our show. We really appreciate the support!
Chris@DPRTV
Thank you for a top quality production and the best A7 iii review on youtube. Best of luck going forward.
Nice work on your first video guys.
Thanks for your support Phil!
Awesome to see you guys still hanging in Calgary! glad to see you guys still giving us the reviews we need/want! Cheers to many more years of success and ... you almost have be buying a A7iii for my photography... almost..
I laughed pretty loud when you commented "all our balls are frozen" Though I agree cuz I also live in Calgary
Here’s to hoping I’d now have two favourite UA-cam channels! DPreview and TCSTV! You guys are such a great team and the episodes where you and Jordan go head on, like the rx100 vs lx10, were magical. I hope to see lots of those.
Coming from TCS channel
Welcome!
Jordan @ DPReview TV
Very happy for both of you AND all of us! Congratulations!!!
Wow I loved this episode and the colors coming out of the Gh5 at night, was there additional light in that scene?
Just the ambient light from the storefronts. The GH5 is an amazing camera!
I have a question for you Jordan, I have a GH5 and A6300 already but I really want a A73 or GH5s . Which to you has less noise with more detail up to ISO 12800?
Awesome, my favorite camera review website and my favorite camera review youtubers!!
You know you're Canadian when you can't be bothered to fix your windscreen.
Ha! Yah no point here. Two minutes out on the highway and its cracked again. Plus it adds mojo to the car.
Chris@DPRTV
Or when you call it a windscreen🤦🏼♂️🇨🇦🥌
You no your a canadain when theirs 4feet of snow and you still drive to work
I'm Canadian and I have no idea what a windscreen is.
Great collaboration! Quality video reviews was a bit missing on dpreview. Now it will the number 1 UA-cam channel to watch for camera reviews!! 👍
Thanks Ben!
Wow welcome to DPReviews guys... still waiting on canon full frame mirrorless 😂
We are too! I'm skeptical but trying to maintain hope that it will be solid.
Chris@DPRTV
Or Nikon! Z mount!
Great guys, i was subscribed already, but dpreview was always lacking something in the youtube channel, you are the perfect match for it.
Congrats you deserve it! Best regards!
Mega-Nichols! Ha. Nice, I literally laughed out loud.
Congratulations for you guys, I love the way you do reviews and the clarity of the English specially for someone that isn't a native speaker like me.
I was a little concerned when you two were leaving TCSTV...oh wait, there at the new DPTV.
You guys are exactly what Dp review needed, there all technical and correct, but you guys have brought some life to the party. I just subscribed.
Thanks John!
All your "balls in Canada are frozen"? That is too funny just thinking about it. Good luck guys on this new journey. Wishing you continued success in all you do.
For all we know the girls could have been in Canada too, because they are hot and they don't have……………err……….
I love the style of video you guys produce for your reviews. Jordan keep it up. Chris, we like your honesty.
I need sigma and tamron to poop out more native e mount lens to finalize my switch !
The color grading and quality of this video is absolutely excellent! Loved the intro. :) You're stepping up your game. Keep it up, guys!
Man, I really need to consider the GH5.
Thank you so much for your support of the years Vipul! We really appreciate it and hope to deliver great videos for our loyal fans and new audience.
