I love foundational classes. It actually helps me improve postures and be more aware of them as I am doing them. I love the way you teach us to how to move. Much love and gratitude 🙏🏻 ❤
I'm relatively new to yoga and am finding this is a great place to start. I've been doing this video (mostly) daily, it's a nice balance between challenge and rest which helps with the mental roadblock for being consistent. I also feel stronger, have better balance, and better posture. My muscles feel "awake" after I practice but I'm not sore the next day either (which also helps with remaining consistent.) Thanks Charlie! Can't wait until I'm ready for something more advanced.
Wonderful class! I hadn't practiced yoga or gone to the gym in a few weeks so was feeling down on myself. This was a perfect way to reintroduce productive and gentle movement. Thank you!
This practice was so relaxing 😌 I really loved the sounds of the ocean in the background. In shavasana, I felt as if I would be lying on the beach, on the warm sand and a summer breeze gently blowing over my body 🧘🏻
I loved this so much! I live in the mountains and rarely get to experience the ocean so this was such a treat for me. I also love your pace, it’s the perfect speed. I’m glad you don’t rush transitions. I feel like a lot of other yoga teachers go too fast and I don’t have enough time to breathe. Thank you for creating this class and more in the future. I thoroughly enjoy practicing with you❤

@@CharlieFollowsI confirm! The pace is just perfect for me too, it gives me the time to move and settle into the postures, make me realizing that I'm stronger than I thought, it gives me the time to feel my body, keep the breath on a healthy rythm... Just perfect!
Thank you Charlie for this sequence! Really amazing how the basic positions can bring awareness to your body. I would really recommend it to all levels from beginners to moderate and advanced, just to remember how well the movement activates the mind and body. ❤
i just wanted an easy workout but i feel so relaxed and grounded now. best yoga flow ive done. im really new to this but i felt like i could follow along easy. thank you

This is the second class I've done of yours and I can't get over how amazing I feel. I have been doing Adriene's classes for the last 5 ish years on and off. She taught me the basics of holding a pose with integrity, but I feel as though I can also move on to some more advanced classes with minimal cues (not that I'm advanced by any means!). I've really enjoyed the two I've done with you so far, and love that I can calm my mind while holding the pose because you've given enough cues already. Thank you so much for creating these! I look forward to doing more classes with you :)

The cues in this flow helped me to improve on transitions and alignment. I found the hand and arm placements from plank to cobra and warrior 2 to reverse warrior through to goddess especially helpful. Thank you Charlie❤

Hello and thank you so much. I am not a trained yin teacher so I would feel right sharing a yin class but I am trained to teach a restorative style of yoga which has some similarities to yin, hopefully you will enjoy that just as much ☺️

If you are interested, Bernie Clark's "The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga" is a great place to start. I hope you don't mind this unsolicited recommendation (I am a yoga teacher too and I teach mostly vinyasa flow but trained in yin when students started to ask for it) but I think your voice, calm manner, and (in my opinion) the perfect amount of talking us through each session would be ideal for yin. But that's just me being selfish, dreaming of the perfect yin class with you! Looking forward to restorative some day. I look forward to all your classes :)

Hi Charlie, thank you for another lovely practice. I started with a niggle behind my left knee which prevented me from performing a seated position, having to keep my leg straight. At the end the niggle had almost disappeared and I was able to sit normally. Thank you very much Charlie ❤

Dear carrie i am a patient of depression my doctors said now you have to live with it but then randomly i found your videos and they help me be strong flexible and one thing i found quite interesting about your nature that thing i also have learn from you only that we sholud not be upset on our faliure but we sholud smile and be joyfull taht we have one more chance to do it Thankyou Rachit 16

I’m getting more comfortable with my body again. I have found I do have to adapt some of the poses but for the most part they are small changes. I do have a question though, with Thread the needle pose where are you supposed to feel a stretch? I don’t really feel much on my left side but my right I get a bit of a stretch down my side. Any pointers you have or adaptations/alternatives for that pose? Thank you for your lovely practices it’s nice to have a challenge while also calming my mind
