I've had a break from yoga due to work demands... this was a great and innovative class to re-enter my practice! Loved the wild thing/skandasana transitions - made both easier but especially skandansana after many weeks off. I found this a good challenge strength wise and even sweated a little. I've started pilates so I do like the sweat element now :) But I got to say I felt very relaxed/zen, wouldn't mind a coffee yet not exhausted - which is a gift I don't always get after Pilates. I did this class mainly on 0.90 x speed - which worked well for me transitioning back in. I want to come back to this one and do it in a room with less furniture to really explore these new wild-thing transitions ...
Devastated I can't join you on your new yoga flows while my ankle recovers after spraining it, I was so looking forward to continuing the journey after the 30 day challenge, trying hard to accept it and breathe through the setback 😮.... and hoping I can be back soon

Hi friend! Wow, I just saw your comment, congratulations! May I ask you, how long did it take for you to feel a bit more “back to normal”? I am recovering from the patella fractures on both on my legs and some days I feel so excited but some days I am discouraged because the pain just won’t go away. Do you do a lot of other workouts? I really appreciate any advice. Like you, I found this yoga channel and it’s become my safe space and I just love it soo much. I feel so good here even though a lot of the poses are still out of reach .. but Charlie makes it feel ok and taught me not to get mad at myself 🥹 I’m trying. Thank you so much for any advice! @Yulia-lu3cv Hi, Yulia! So nice to meet you. I didn't break both of mine- you poor thing!! I had wires in my knee for the first year. In that year I was sent for physiotherapy that I did twice, but after being forced to bend my knee until I wept, I decided that it wasn't good for me at all. I then allowed my knee to heal itself quietly and naturally, doing very light "encouragement" daily, improving my range of motion. And I walked a lot. I also milk cows every day, and that probably helped too. By the end of that year the orthopaedic surgeon was very impressed with the range of motion and the wires came out. About 5 months later I decided to try yoga, and now it's just over two years and I'm almost 100%. I still have pain kneeling andnI don't have enough muscle strength to get up off the floor so easily, but that's improving slowly. I might add that I'm 56, which may or may not be significant... I wish you health and strength and a complete recovery!!! Keep in touch! Xx
The first time I ever tried flying pigeon I was surprised at how difficult it was. It doesn't *look* as difficult as it is. It isn't a pose I've tried again. Today, I was very surprised to find that it is now something that I can do! Thank you so much for bringing me forward in my physical practice without me even knowing I was doing it! Thank you Charlie for the beautiful and authentic energy you put into your classes and all the creativity and time you put into the regular flows honouring the multiple facets of yoga! I’d also like to express an extra thank you for not ‘selling’ us anything in the middle of the class, apparently it has become so common for yoga and all movement instructors to give incentives towards purchases (for programs or whatever else) and hammer them into your brain over and over again, start, middle and end of class. It seems they underestimate how much it deteriorates the benefits of the class, when the yoga classroom becomes just another one of these places that continuously demand consumption from you, rather than being a small sanctuary from this consumerism state of mind. I suppose I’m not the only one to feel that way. I do not say this to undermine the huge amount of work that is done and needs remuneration! But the method makes the counter effect on me. I’m sure there are more graceful ways to do it, while also being aware that our tolerance levels might already be low with all the UA-cam adds. I hope that your approach pays off sustainably and that it is recognised!
This was amazing! And YOU are amazing! I have been practicing yoga on and off for 10 years in person and online and you are the first teacher I stick with.. it has been almost 2 months now of daily morning practice and I feel so much stronger and happier in my daily life. A wonderful way to start the day!

I was soo delighted to see a new flow today when I opened UA-cam. AND it’s intermediate?! I had been hoping for a new intermediate flow! This was challenging and difficult as usual but each next pose came very easily and was a great next movement. The down dog leg up hip open knees bent…. To open your chest and flip your dog into wild thing!! That was fun. I love wild thing. It’s a fun name, a glamorous elegant looking pose and it’s one of those stretches that crack all the good spots. I’m saving this one to my short list of good ones. Thank you for being so talented at not only yoga in the physical sense, the combinations and transitions you put together are one of a kind- you understand the human body and how it moves. Always a very doable movement never anything awkward, or possible for certain people. I am in awe of your ability to see allll of the possibilities for movement from each pose. As long as you keep going I’ll be here watching, doing enjoying and of course! commenting Haha.

Wow! I am a 21 year old with arthritis and other health problems. I haven’t been able to do strenuous exercise recently but I love to feel strong and stretch - this was perfect for my needs today!
i LOVE that you dont always do a sivasana. sometimes im in a rush and want to get my asana practice in but dont feel like making jyself sleepy or going thru it all. i truly love that you give us a wonderful strengthening and stretching practice without slowing down too much. and you have plenty of videos that do end with a proper shivasana so i just wanted to say i really appreciate that. and before anyone yells at me i have my RYT200 and understand its an important element but i feel you can do it on your own if needed for your own internal purposes. anyways just my two cents love your videos
this was my second time ever doing an intermediate practice and it is so empowering to be able to keep up, even if it is more challenging - thank you so much Charlie!! I woo-ed the first time I was able to do flying lizard 😊

I just found your channel this week and I'll def be coming back to this practice! Such a fun flow. I also love that you always do something for wrists and neck, because those are always trouble areas for me off the mat (I'm an artist but I expect everyone probably has the same issues to some degree!)
With some modifications this is perfectly doable if you're a beginner like me but wanting to go "deeper". Pushing myself a bit showed me what I could actually start doing that I did not realize I could. This was very satisfying ❤ 🙏

This flow was amazingly paced. Challenge yet ease, Slow yet spicy enough, slightly strenuous yet serene. I am terribly depressed since the last 2 months and doing my daily yoga practice has been a challenge. I skipped an entire week of practice and decided I will cram in just 15 mins and found this and completed the 30 mins. This has helped open my body and mind in such a fresh yet relaxing way, I cannot thank you enough Charlie. Your channel has kept me disciplined during these extremely tough days, weeks and months lke no other.❤️🙏

I just found your channel this week and I'll def be coming back to this practice! Such a fun flow. I also love that you always do something for wrists and neck, because those are always trouble areas for me off the mat (I'm an artist but I expect everyone probably has the same issues to some degree!)
With some modifications this is perfectly doable if you're a beginner like me but wanting to go "deeper". Pushing myself a bit showed me what I could actually start doing that I did not realize I could. This was very satisfying ❤ 🙏

This flow was amazingly paced. Challenge yet ease, Slow yet spicy enough, slightly strenuous yet serene. I am terribly depressed since the last 2 months and doing my daily yoga practice has been a challenge. I skipped an entire week of practice and decided I will cram in just 15 mins and found this and completed the 30 mins. This has helped open my body and mind in such a fresh yet relaxing way, I cannot thank you enough Charlie. Your channel has kept me disciplined during these extremely tough days, weeks and months lke no other.❤️🙏

Thank you Charlie this was a super practice with lots of new transitions to strong poses. I really felt my muscles working. Flying lizard still eludes me, however I did the best I could today. I really enjoyed this class 😊 💯
A very satisfying flow,even if sometimes I find it difficult to understan English and I have to move my tablet for watching the video.
