Nobody ever figures out(THIS PLAYER DID) that you can hit Don Flamenco in the belly after the jab to get stars in the rematch; it's easy and you can win in the 1st round by doing so. When trying to hit him with your 3rd star punch, you will have to do so using a combo or else he'll dodge it! On Sandman(when he starts doing his moving Bald Bull jabs), you can make him predictable by throwing a head punch at him. He'll dodge and immediately come back with a jab instead of stalling and--at the same time--you'll know exactly when he will punch. That's why you have so many hearts when you face him: you are supposed to use your punches so that he will speed up. In addition, if your reflexes are fast enough, you can also punch him 1 extra time when does these Bald Bull jabs. After hitting him as normal when he does one, punch at his head again and he will block it and try to counter you fast. Dodge his counterpunch to get an extra head punch on him. I have been able to put him down twice in 1 round using this strategy. On Super Macho Man, when he pauses, you will get 1 star for every other head punch you use. He'll block ever other one. Before he begins his spin punches, you can get 2 or 3 stars within each spin punch sequence. With these stars, it's fairly easy to get him in the very first round...
This Nintendo NES game, Punch-Out!! (1990) a re-release of Nintendo's 1987 classic game, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, is in the Sports Series. This version replaces Mike Tyson with Mr. Dream, a character swapped in after a decision to not new the rights to use Mike Tyson in this game.
Played this countless times as a kid with my dad. I used to always call Little Mac "Dave" because I thought he was Dave Seville from the Chipmunks! Only a toddler would think of that!

I just turned 34. I probably played this for the first time when I was 6, maybe? I remember back then being so angry not being able to figure out king hippo. My mom would let me play nes for like 30 minutes before bed on school nights. I would breeze through until King Hippo, then fail. I play this game probably once every few weeks now. Still haven't beaten Mr. Dream or tyson. I'm just not meant to be the champ, I guess.
I remember playing this game when I was 12, it thook me forever to get to mike Tyson and when I did it was a snowy day in CT and the wind was crazy need less to say we lost power when I was fighting mike Tyson 😢
Punch-Out!! is a re-issue of Nintendo’s classic game. It is essentially the same game as Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! (1987), except that Punch-Out!! is not sponsored, endorsed or affiliated in any way with Mike Tyson and contains no Tyson figure in the game play.
This one has two fighters w/ sleep-themed names: Mr. Sandman and Mr. Dream. Incidentally: Mr. Sandman was the final opponent in the original arcade version.

well im 43 played this game as a kid and man i thought i did something when 8 year old me beat glass joe not kidding this is legitametely the first time ive ever seen the ending of nes punch out
Actually, contrary to popular belief, Nintendo didn't renew Tyson's license because he had recently lost the championship to Buster Douglas. Nintendo felt that Tyson should always be this impossible to beat giant of the ring. Kind of a lowball move by Nintendo, but one that worked out for the better once his legal troubles surfaced.

Man that’s some really experienced guard manipulation. Takes real skill to do that.
Btw I believe the reason why Mike Tyson was switched to Mr dream is bc not only did his contract expire, but he bit someone’s ear off.
They paid him 50k to use his name. And the contract expired in 1990. Mike was worth much more by then.

I just realized this game was in the Switch Online catalog… I grew up with the Mike Tyson version
The second piston Honda if you can clock in when he's coming in when he backs up and then comes forward he'll stay down on the first knockdown
A+ game for the NES
I remember playing this game when I was 12, it thook me forever to get to mike Tyson and when I did it was a snowy day in CT and the wind was crazy need less to say we lost power when I was fighting mike Tyson 😢
Noooooooooo !!!!.. lol
5:24 I can’t beat him while you just combo him with ease, man your good at punchout
Justo en la infancia. También es gracioso recordar los gestos de los rivales cuando ganaban😂.
One my fave games as a kid
Bruh I still play this on my nes console it’s hard but great.
Ya I think the controls are bit off on all those mini consoles
Punch-Out!! is a re-issue of Nintendo’s classic game. It is essentially the same game as Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! (1987), except that Punch-Out!! is not sponsored, endorsed or affiliated in any way with Mike Tyson and contains no Tyson figure in the game play.
Wow Que nostalgia 🥲🥲my childhood in one game
2022 and I'm still here.
This one has two fighters w/ sleep-themed names: Mr. Sandman and Mr. Dream.
Incidentally: Mr. Sandman was the final opponent in the original arcade version.
Congratulations! You got 300,000 subscribers!

So this is just the exact same game just without Tyson?
meikoman15 Yup!
Yes and they replaced Tyson with Mr. Dream.
I presume the Nintendo/Tyson partnership officially ended in the early 90s, LOL
Right. The reason is because Mike's contract with Nintendo had expired.
@Stick Productions Probably that match where he got KO'd by James 'Buster' Douglas in Tokyo on 2/11/90...just a guess, though.
King Hippo with the best intro music!
4:34 n-word stole my bike.
That ost need lyric
*_-*Serial Designation N joined the chat*-_*
If I remember, whenever your Opponent gets up on the 1 Count, hitting him with a Star Punch knocks him down.
I'm here after read a book called "Playing to wiin Nintendo and video game industry's greatest comeback" by Daniel Sloan
N word stole my bike sounds like the land is ours from spongebob but sped up it’s beautiful stuff to listen to absolutely beautiful
Doc keep your guard up!"
Mr. Dream your experience doesn't match mine go home
And practice!" 35:16
I always found Little Mac and Doc Louis' faces a lil creepy in the fighter introduction screens...
The best game of all time I still play it now and the super version
The arcade version of the game used the name Vodka Drunkenski for Soda Popinski.
So, they anglo-fied Iron Mike Tyson, gave him some BS generic name, and used him to replace the legendary champion?! That's crap. I'm so glad I played the REAL version of this classic!!
If Mike's contract hadn't expired, I bet he would've remained.
Did you ever think it was because fucking Mike Tyson was guilty of rape!
@@truedeathfire I was 12 when he was convicted, so I guess that never crossed my radar.
@@PhantomDragonEternal sorey... just ugh
i’m still playing punch out and it is 2021
I loved Punch Out growing up.
Without my friend teaching me I would have never beaten this game. R.I.P.
Ya know after all these years, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Von Kaiser knocked down with a body punch....
Bruh.... I could never get past soda pop as a kid. This game is extremely hard for a 6 year old lol
Man the Super Macho Man fight was intense!
I didn't know Stanley Hudson was Little Mac's coach.
Early footage of Netflix’s transmission
well im 43 played this game as a kid and man i thought i did something when 8 year old me beat glass joe
not kidding this is legitametely the first time ive ever seen the ending of nes punch out
And I get it from the first player! Lol. This game is classic with Mario as a judge.
This was a repackage after Mike Tyson’s legal troubles.
