Capitalism is murdering the games industry. Art is way more important than the next COD, Assassins creed, or other mid shit that’s just trying to get the most broad appeal for max profits

Yeah, garbage take from Sammy Boi honestly. Science is an IMPORTANT aspect to games but, as he's iterated himself numerous times, it's not that hard to balance Overwatch, for example. Art takes up 90% of the gaming sphere because it's a visual medium first

I think videogames interactivity is first, depth, gameplay, rewards, etc, these are things that other mediums don’t offer in the same way.
I would say movies and tv are more visual but in my opinion Overwatch lost a lot of its visual charm when it made everything look more modern and streamlined.
