Why does no one talk about the absolutely outrageous shop prices? 34 dollars for 2 mediocre skins? Idgaf if its “ Porche”, the skins are not worth nearly 17 dollars each. In paladins i can get like 2 skins and a weapon skin for like 7 bucks and its also a f2p game. Blizzard truly is an embarrassment of a company.

I gave up and uninstalled this game 3 months ago. 5v5 format cannot be balanced. I only support Samito because he is the crux of the 6v6 format argument. Trying not to lose faith that the Devs will admit the 5v5 format was the wrong move and revert back to 6v6...but it's hard.
Literally the same: I gave up playing the game back in November of last year and it's literally done wonders for my gaming Mental Health. Kinda wish Sam did the same. But I get it; he's making money off these vids so why not keep playing. It's just really really sad for me to watch people die on a hill that's they have yet to realize has been obliterated long ago. It just gets extremely tiring as a viewer to watch content creators harp on the same points as if they say it enough times then it'll just get through blizzard devs/higher ups heads.. like I truly believe if we just got people to stop playing this game especially some of the big names blizzard will be literally forced to make the changes people want they see enough people stop playing the game
for me, i just play total mayhem with friends and some custom games. i sometimes will do some qp here and there but yeah. for the most part i don't play any actual game modes XD and i haven't TOUCHED comp since ow 1.
Yeah I miss overwatch 1. Back when I had people to play with. Now no one plays overwatch 2 for various reasons, one being that most of our mains are straight up trash or play different and playing tank sucks
I did that after trying this patch. I finally accepted it’s not gonna get better anytime soon, especially with these devs at the helm. They have shown time and time again that they don’t know what they’re doing.
Unfortunately, I saw this mindset with world of warcraft as well. Made a bunch of shitty changes and decisions in battle for azeroth and shadowlands. All of these things were addressed by players from BETA. So they delete the forums and continue as planned. Only to revert every. Single. Change at the end of the expansion. That was BFA. Shadowlands it was "pull the ripcord" which they lied to us about because they never planned on doing it (in reference to swapping covenants, the main power increase in shadowlands.) Then after they said, "we lied about pulling the ripcord", they eventually fold and pull the ripcord... All because their pockets were threatened. All this to say, no, unfortunately, they won't learn until it's too late.

So Sig can Flux the whole team from behind a wall, but pharah barrage is still an un-cancelable death sentence 8 out of 10 times. Great job Blizzard.

Reaper and Pharah are death kamikaze ults without coordinating a combo with your team 4/5 times. At least Pharah is more likely to get a kill first before the team can effectively respond and kill her lol.

Their ults will 100% be changed in the future, these ults were made for a game where you would need to think about when/where to use your ult and know what cds the enemy team has used/not used to get value.

I've been playing Genji since late 2017, even back when I tried my hardest to overcome Moira & Brig in ow1, it did not end well. I just play Ashe nowadays.

I am so tired of these devs being stuck in their own little bubble of thinking that 5v5 is the answer to the game's problems, when it's only been making them much worse.
5v5 has only made the tank experience worse. Dps and support is better. Especially support. 6v6 was better for tanks (when your other tank actually picked off of you when they didn’t that experience was worse than what tank is now) and worse for dps and supports. Now of we’re strictly talking balance and not format then yea this patch is not the best at all the sig change is not what he needed. Flux cast time just needs to be faster. Brig also didn’t need bash reset on ult.
I'm guessing that some higher-ups forced the 5v5 decision. I doubt that all of the devs supported it.

We should only hold the higher-ups accountable for how the game was monetised and for killing the PVE hype.

When I started playing OW in 2020, Hanzo was the first character that really spoke to me. Finding your content shortly after really helped push my Hanzo gameplay and inspire me to get better. And now here we are, and the character feels like dirt. Worse than dirt. I'm so tired 💀

I really got into Overwatch when I statted playing Hanzo. I was on track to hit GM for the first time in season 8 after being hardstuck high Masters in OW1 for a long time, and then season 9 rolled around, and now I dont even feel like playing ranked anymore.
I started playing him because he was challenging. He was very difficult, but you could feel his value, and oh, the HIGH you would get whenever you hit a clip! He's downright unplayable right now. The best we can do is raise our voices as a hero community that have had our hero stomped into the ground and then some for years. Whether the team will listen or not, who knows...

I feel like blizzard doesn't listen to the projectile based players out there in general except maybe Mei players (specifically dps though).
2 years still no weapon inspect, no custom emote banners, didn't bring back level and rank portraits, didn't bring back end game cards, Story missions forgotten, Hero gauntlet forgotten, Hero mastery update once every half a year...
All their efforts are put in shitting out mid skins and recolors of old skins and selling them for $20 a pop... why do people still give them money???
And also don't forget they took out the possibility of searching squad for people who don't have friends to play with. I used to use that feature a lot in ow1: "Main Rein searching for Zarya Plat/Dia". Now that's forgotten too. And they promised a clan system too that was never applied. Man the best thing we can do about it is to not play it. Fuck em

All the unique interactions that create counterplay are what makes overwatch a unique and interesting game to me. By removing these interactions like being able to break grav LOS we're all going to fall back the one reliable counterplay mechanic that is mobility, making every game play out more predictably and just overall less exciting I feel.

Apparently it isn't a nerf, the dragons are faster but do the same ticks of damage, only faster. Basically it does its max damage at the same speed it's increased, so its not as bad as it sounds on paper.
@@copiagueeagleIt's funny because the change makes it easier to tag mobile Heroes at close range with more damage before they can escape it.
One of the specific issues Samito brought up was that Mobile Heroes will escape it anyway.
When it moved slower they could easily get out before taking too much damage, if they took any damage at all.
Now with it's faster speed, which increases the damage tick rate as well, they will take more damage than before in the same situation.
wait until he sees new Sigma ult in action. Look at Flats, he did it on training ground and ernmmm.......

I don't know if you read comments but I want to give some insight on Hanzo:
His problem used to be that he got spam kills. Random headshots that could instantly win the fight and it wasn't enjoyable. (much like junkrat but I guess he is back to spamming)
His main fun was getting NOT random kills. Be skilled enough and you can kill 3 players in zen ult faster than any other character.
So the change he needs is to reduce the randomness of headshots while still giving him the option to one shot if he is skilled enough. My proposed solution is:
-Targets in sonar arrow take +5 dmg from primary fire.
-Sonar range reduced by a little
-Sonar visibility increased
This makes randomness less prominent. If you have a sonar on the wall and line a headshot you deserve it. If the enemy sees the sonar they can counterplay. If some genji is diving you, you can shoot the sonar on the ground and kill him in 1 less shot. Because if you hit 2 body shots or a headshot on a genji point blank then you SHOULD win that fight.

All this crap would do is cause people to use Sonar in the middle of the enemy team to try to get that increased damage.
No, because the sonar shots are not the shots that are most satisfying. Shooting a Pharah/Mercy out of the sky is satisfying. Shooting Lucio zooming across walls is satisfying. Shooting a sonar arrow and then following it up is ok. Just give him his one shot. Instead of him having options (he could spam, or he could do insane shots, flank for example) now he is LIMITED TO SPAMMING because he just sits in the backline with a mercy pocket. This game is dying, and this patch literally proves the devs have not a single clue.
Think brigg was a cool change, now you can use your ult more often to cancel other ults or engages, but maybe just me
Ball kind of warranted the buffs, since he doesn't benefit from the headshot damage reduction at all, and the armor change really hurts his primary fire. But no matter how much they buff him, the hero will always feel shit because he gets countered so easily. The enemy team can take away your entire hero by going Orisa, Cass, Sombra, Brig and Ana/Bap. Except now against teams that don't counterswap, he'll absolutely steamroll. In that way he might even INCENTIVIZE counterswapping even more. The hero just sucks to play in 5v5.
I've said this twice but these ball buffs dont do anything when mauga, hog, sombra, brig, baptiste, and kiriko are all gonna be making killing literally anything with his primary or minefield absolute torture due to all the cc and mobility.
Fitting that the skins are overpriced like the cars.
So I finally just went into custom games and made my own 6v6 mode, made some adjustments to ult generation, removed Mauga and LifeWeaver, and I play with bots on my team and enemy team set at Ultimate difficulty. I get to set the bots to the team comps that I want to play like rush comps and dive comps, even played a few Goats games and it’s been a blast. I took my experience playing the game into my own hands since the devs just give us this crap over and over again. Kind of sucks I don’t have friends to play with or know 11 other people to play the mode with but it’s fun enough with the bots just being able to play 6v6 again and it’s so much better then 5v5.

I hated it when they got rid of Huge Rez on a Mercy and brought out Valkyrie tbh. Just annoyed me when people complained saying it's not fun to play against a Huge Rez but I just thought but that's the game, you have a team of 6 ults, strategise better and don't use all team ults so if they were rezzed there were still some ults on the table to get them again. That just killed Mercy for me.
The devs probably don’t even know how to increase the length of the dragon strike model
When it changed from 6v6 to 5v5 all my friends left. Well they left before, but they weren't gonna come back because all of us couldn't play together then anymore. The reason they left was because they got fed up of building up ults for just 5 second cooldown abilities to negate them instantly

Okay to be fair, thats how Sigma's ult originally worked in OW1, except it was even more broken because you couldn't stun him out of it. It got nerfed because of course it did. No idea why they'd bring this back. The least they could do is show the reticle on all ground affected.
Hanzo. Winston has had the biggest nothing burger buffs in OW2.
Winston has been in a decent spot during the entirety of OW2. Hanzo literally got stabbed 20 times in the back, and they come back every now and then to add a few more holes.

OW was the game that pulled me back into gaming, I played A LOT of it, I bought a new PC so I can run it in 144+ fps, I love the game but I will NEVER stop saying when shit is not right, those that don't complain don't really care

after playing this update for the 2nd day, i feel like we are back a point where nothing dies anymore.. this game just feel horrible to play.. devs dont understand that there is a big part of the player base that just wanna play 1 or 2 characters and with all these changes, it has become a struggle to play mercy or hanzo for example. even Ana is in a week spot. OTP's in general have been done dirty.
I dont know how they think that forcing such changes are gona increase the player base but will i think it will have the opposite effect.. Hanzo players are gona stop playing, mercy players are gona stop playing, most tanks dont wanna play tank anymore because of how unenjoyable tanking is.. i mean the devs have completely lost the plot.
Hot take: I think Hanzo’s Dragonstrike should destroy deployables, and ignore all armor and shield health, dealing damage directly to white health. Effectively killing heroes with a lower HP threshold on average.
Change nothing else about it. It already is hard enough to kill squishies with, but I think these changes will significantly increase the effectiveness while still allowing heals counter play.
After playing with it the hanzo “buff” is a straight nerf. It’s a fucking straight line, making it faster only ever gives a better chance at killing enemies trapped in a hallway. You don’t get anymore killing power from it and you LOSE zoning utility which was super useful for cutting off tanks. The people who make these changes must not play the heroes because they don’t understand how they work at all
Wouldn't the change to hanzo's ultimate mean it has less uptime denying/blocking off a given space or escape route in team fights?
I think the dragons need to breathe fire that instantly applies the burn dot to you. This helps with the dragons now being faster/shorter because they get a range increase. Also makes him useful to pair with Mauga, also baits suzu and lamp on initial hit, also applies dps passive for a while. Also let it destroy deployable I agree.
Though I think a dragon blade genji should be able to dash through and cut up the dragons, ending both ults. Just for the lols.

After watching they killing Sombra's identity of a Hacker(OW1) to turn her into a new "problematic" stealth and toxic assassin on OW2, i gave up from Blizzard

My mains in OW1 were Doomfist, Genji, Hanzo... Genji and Hanzo just arent good, and doomfist is now a tank D: I like doomfist tank, but nothing has matched the amount of fun that I had on dps doomfist. At least allow me to play the other heroes I use to main blizz. OW2 not only took away 6v6 from me, but also the heroes I like playing.
Sig Ult: No longer requires LOS
Zarya Ult: Now 7 meters and lasts for 4 seconds
Brig Ult: Resets Bash CD
Ball Ult: Does more damage and provides more knockback
Hanzo Ult: Moves 3 meters per sec faster.
I think this pretty much sums up how variety DPS get treated.
I really wish they would let there be a creator patch again so Sam can balance the game as he sees fit. That way he can stop complaining about everything.

She shouldve been able to do that since the start, kinda like Genji getting his dash cd reset when he ults. People gon bitch about everything. Give it 3 days and people will stop talking about it and get used to it

Sigma ult no longer requires line of sight? Not surprising, their current design philosophy is just make sure there's no counterplay to any tank hero to prevent counter swapping.

They stealth nerfed the ball grapple. When you grapple to an elevated surface disengage and regrapple it starts the timer so you can’t parkour around the skybox without fireballing
Imagine team X are holding high round, sigma goes under and fluxes the whole team without them even seeing the ult circle, this will be completely broken
I use junkrat in ow1 up to masters. The main thing was i used to destroy shields/to flank kill. Now junkrat is in between because you can still play but yet effectiveness is the questionable thing because bank shots. They can keep 120 damage. But the bounce potential from the shots was fun and felt good.
And they still wont buff dragonblade. One of the only ultimates in the game you need to practice hours in to remotely get value compared to tracer bombs. While other ults like venture, sigma and brig are all point and click ultimates that are braindead as heck. I don't even understand how players get farmed by a dragonblade at this point unless you used all your cooldowns...
Honestly what frustrates me is they never try to hard nerf things. They just keep buffing the heroes that are struggling instead of nerfing the things that make those struggling heroes struggle. Like why have they never tried to change immortality field to something else for 5 years!!!
As a tracer main I hate hanzo, sometimes most of my deaths come from him whether I’m challenging him or not even when I try to predict his arrows and blink behind him and stuff it just seems like hanzo arrows have auto tracking or something, granted I’m Diamond so not that high up but still hanzo annoys me

The brig change isn't even that bad imo (support main Lucio/zen/ana) because to pull of that combo you'd have to use your ultimate and every other offensive cool down you have to kill one person i would want a lower cooldown on bash during ult in exchange you loose a CHUNK like 100-150 of your shield health
