It's getting hotter and hotter in Japan. August is the hottest month here and before that, I wanted to prepare for a hot summer. I put bamboo blind to the windows to shut the sunlight. They look so good and cool!
For lunch, I cooked garlic stir-fried zucchini and chicken. And I cooked green onion fried rice for me and my son.

And I cooked eggplant gratin and Tsukune (Chicken Hamburg) for dinner.

I felt summer is almost there!
My husband bought us our new slippers and a small linen bag for me.

As soon as I could take a break from work, I settled in to enjoy your vlog. I think cats all over the world must start the day in the same way: complaining that their owners are slow to provide breakfast. I love the adorable little frogs in your garden. The toads in my garden are bigger, brown, and they always look grumpy. But they eat lots of mosquitoes so I tell them they are all secretly handsome princes. You are so skillful at capturing the beauty around you--the plants, your home, the way the sun shines in, the scene at night. It restores calmness to my heart and allows my brain to relax. I don't know about a vacation this year. I won't be going away this summer. Summers are magical where I live--long days, bright blue skies, everything in leaf and blooming. Many people come here to vacation in the summer because it is so pretty. The beach is only 20 minutes away. It is easy to stay home and laze about like a cat sleeping in the garden. However, all your hard work and your wise observations that we should take care of things does make me feel as if I should get out this weekend and do some weeding. I should take better care of the things I appreciate. Sending good thoughts to your mother. And wishing you all the best.

These days are “los encierros de San Fermín” the running of the bulls of san Fermin are celebrated, very popular, I don't like bullfights (I don't understand the subject) but I like to see the running of the bulls, there are 7 running of the bulls, one every day, at 8:00 in the morning they come out the “toros bravos” brave bulls and the “mansos” tame ones and the people run, it is dangerous... but it is a Spanish tradition. I love Zara! I love to buy clothes there and recently Zara home is here in Japan. But not near my place so I can't check ceramic pieces...so often sadly. Sargadelos looks really awesome! Very very lovely. Thank you for sharing every time. Things have souls...so we have to good take care of them and love them right? My MUJI slippers are getting dirty already because I wear them every day. I love them so much. I can get along with your ex(?) boss, but I think if he loved them, he needed not to lose them🤣.
