I live in a small town 2 hours drive from Tokyo.
I’m a happy mom of two (👦🏻15+👧🏻10) and two cats (😺😇Picku 18.5 + 🐈 Momiji 16).

We went camping near our house and enjoyed hot spring, event, good food (of course including 🍜 ramen), and Japanese sake🍶.
The day before camping, I went to the local farmers market and two supermarkets to buy food for camping.

I am so extremely sorry about the passing of Picku. My heart is heavy with sadness and my thoughts are with you. Fortunately, Momiji seems to be in good health. Your editing and filming has really taken off lately. It was a visual feast to watch you shopping (no pun intended). I particularly enjoyed watching the scenes by the roadside as you drove. And hearing the checkout machine in Japanese made me laugh. I guess that those machines are the same everywhere. I've never seen anyone camp quite the way you did. Here, tent camping means a small tent and sleeping bags. We cook all our food on the campfire: jacket potatoes buried in the coals, hot dogs on a skewer, smores. Campgrounds might have a small store--essentials only. And people swim in the lake or river if they camp next to one. I've never been to a place with all of the niceties like you had. It looked fun!
Oh, Leah, thank you for writing me. Yes, we are very grateful that Momiji is in good health, but she sometimes looks lonely...which makes me a little sad. I hope she will be fine.
I'm glad to know that you enjoyed the voice of checkout machines😂. I think you thought you could understand Japanese because they are the same voices all over the world.
I heard that camping in the US is more wild! Sounds very exciting and you need some skills to survive at camping!

I also make a handwritten shopping list and schedule the weekly menu and write it down by hand on a sheet that I put on the fridge with a magnet, I'm old school.😉
Wow you have a very pretty pink UGG, nice color, I don't have that type of footwear, but in Spain they are also used a lot, especially in the clog version with a thick sole.
In the video you say sardines, is the same word in spanish, here is “sardinas”, curius....
It's always wonderful to see how clean is everything public places in Japan...the campsite seemed great, I liked seeing the Sanrio card game again, it's beautiful. I really like Kuromi's aesthetic.
For our part, these have been quiet days, in the town the almond and cherry trees are blooming, little by little...what is beautiful now is the acacia flower´s named mimosas, they are really showy and brighten the days before of the arrival of spring, which is peeking through the door...we have walked around Madrid capital, I have found small treasures in the last sales and we went to a bookstore with books in several languages, we always like to browse these type of shops.
Finally we want to give you a lot of encouragement and we think the shrine you have at home in honor of Picku is very cute, with its bowls of food and especially the water bowl with Moomin designs. Picku was a lucky kitten.
Receive our big hug Tomomo, and extend it to your husband and children and to the beautiful Momiji.

I learned a lot about Spanish name😊. It's good idea to have two last names.
In Japan, we have to choose one last name when we get marry and we usually chose husband's last name.
I miss my old last name! And since my last name is different from my mother and father, I feel I'm in different family😢.
Almond trees!? Wow, I've never seen them before so I googled it. They look so similar to cherry blossom and beautiful.
I'm so happy to hear that spring is approaching in Madrid too.
I wish I could visit the bookstores there! I love to visit the bookstores and supermarkets in other countries.

She finally noticed that Pick is no longer here and her character has changed a little which makes us laugh.
Still I miss Picku every day...but I think I guess I miss her all my life so I need to deal with that right?

I am sorry for your loss; I hope you feel better now 🙏🏻🩷 Grieving makes us human, but it’s strange how we often try to avoid it. Putting that aside, this was a beautiful video to watch. I love how Momiji stands peacefully under the sunlight, soaking in all that vitamin D! 🌞 The food and camping scenes looked like a lot of fun too. Thank you for that beautifully edited long video; it was very relaxing after a chaotic day. 😊

Yes, I absolutely know what you mean and in German there is even an extra word for it, that literally translates to "letterfriendship". It means that even if you don't see somebody (often or at all) it nevertheless is a friendship , it is just that you communicate with letters :D I also learn a lot, for example about Japanese culture or other cultures of the other guys here as well and I get so many ideas and inspiration for cooking 😂
What I love about your channel is, that it reminds me of cherishing the "little" things in life and that our lifes finally consist of exact these little things! And also when you share your thoughts, I recognized I am also thinking about the same topics and that in a way we as humans are in the end all very similar concerning our sorrows and desires no matter what nationality or culture. It is a very nice thing to know! :)
The little things I enjoy in my life for example is drinking tea or watch the goldchickadees on my balcony. These are little birds from the size like a sparrow but they look like little fluffy tennis balls 😂
