Thanks, you were the first person I found that covered this topic well.
Glad it was helpful!
thank you for the video! it's ridiculous that they haven't made a more user friendly way of aligning the camera angles for multiple monitors
Well, it's so complicated given that it's a different angle for each aircraft. I think they should make it mandatory for plane designers to bake in the proper angles to start with. Then we could change them if we wanted them to be slightly different.
thanks captain!
Glad to be of help. Enjoy your flights!
Super helpful! Our 2nd screen though is like widescreen and we can’t figure out why it doesn’t have the same graphic quality as #1 screen. Can you provide any insight?
It depends. If you have an NVidia monitor, try opening the NVidia app and check the settings for the resolution. Same if you have a different manufacturer's card. Or you might be able use the Windows Settings app. In one of those, you'll be able to see if your monitor is set to it's natural resolution or a custom one. Normally it's best to use it's standard setting.
Once you confirm that, go back into FS2024 and check the settings for that monitor. I didn't show it in my video but there is a drop-down where you can select a resolution. Use the same setting as Windows.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for your content. I´m wondering if it is possible to have a second window on an additional monitor showing a e.g. an different camera view to have a cockpit camera and at the same time a view showing the airplane wheels.
Great question. I just spent quite a bit of time checking out how to do this. I couldn't assign it to an existing screen, so I created another view in windowed mode. But still no luck. All windows use the same view setting at the same time.
Two suggestions. Use an external drone camera that is setup for your default external view. Then get familar with the shortcut keys to toggle to that view and back. Alternatively, set your cockpit view to a 'rear' setting so you are viewing the interior from further back in the cockpit. I was still able to see the controls AND see out the two side windows. Not the best solution, but maybe useful in certain cases.
Good luck!

@ your hint with the default „drone Camera view“ is maybe the way to Go ähhh to fly. Take Care Norbert
