Hank Williams Jr fell off a mountain, and has a scar on his face and head. He wears the beard the big sunglasses, and the cowboy hat, To help hide these scars! Hank Williams (his dad) is considered one of the most influencers in singer-songwriters of the 20th century. He had 55 top 10, 12 number ones! He did this before his death of 29 years old! Hank Junior is 75, he's been in the business most of his life! So if that is Gucci. He's at a point where he can do whatever he wants! I'm a born and raised Texan, I live in a small little town that's 40 miles out of Houston! Stay safe young lady!
I saw Hank Williams III opening for Slayer which was an odd venue, but he sounds and looks just like his grandfather. Being from Alabama, I've seen Jr and Lynard Skynard probably more than any other bands.
Hank Jr can wear any sunglasses that he wants. 🙂 On August 8, 1975, Hank Williams Jr, and a friend hiked Ajax Peak in Montana. Williams, 26 at the time, fell more than 500 feet during the trek. So, 530 feet and 17 operations later, Hank Jr was left with scars and injuries to his face, and entire body for that matter, but his “signature” hat and sunglasses are to help “mask” the scars and injuries on his head and face. He’s lucky to have survived for sure.
Let's see, been touring since 1957. Over 80 million albums sold, 5 time Entertainer of the Year, Country Music and Songwriters Hall of Famer, survived falling 525 down the side of Ajax Mountain, still touring today with the current #1 blues album at the age of 75. I'd say he can wear anything he wants...lol
Hank Williams senior was one of the OG country music artists. "There's a Tear in my Beer" and "I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry" are iconic songs. Hang Jr. struggled growing up in the shadow of his dad, but carved out an amazing prolific career of his own. Check out "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight" and "Outlaw Woman".
As someone mentioned they're customed sunglasses to hide scars from a mountain fall. Hank Jr is country music royalty, his dad who died in his 20s when Jr was a baby ,was considered the bad boy of country at the time and a pioneer.
Most people have no idea what a "Trot Line" is, mentioned in this song. It is a way to catch fish and Snapping Turtles for food. A strong line is stretched across a small river or other stream, usually anchored on either side to a tree, with other smaller lines attached every few feet. Those lines go down into the water and have hooks and bait attached to them. The main line is weighted down, so that small boats can pass over top. My father used to set trot lines, using a homemade wooden "Jon Boat" he built himself. This is a lost art of survival in tough times. But those of us, living in rural West Virginia and other places, can still do this. I was raised in a family of 13 and we had to grow or kill most of our food, after my father injured his spine on the job in the 1960s. At just 5ft 1in tall and 117lbs when I graduated high school, I inherited my father's grit and determination. I enlisted in the US Marine Corps, where I served for 6 years. Then, I served my community as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher for 23 years. After that, I became a Correctional Officer, working inside a medium security state prison for 4 years. I am finally retired, but not finished. I am still performing military funerals for our fallen veterans in both, Ohio and West Virginia. Yes, a country boy can survive.
The glasses are his style. Granted he wears them to hide damage to his face from an accident but he also rocks the 70's with the whole Elvis vibe. All big name entertainers from that era wore those glasses. Maybe not from Gucci but similar makes. And jewel encrusted and/or gold was the thing. He's staying true to his style. I got a pair of Elvis' glasses from 1973 and they'll prolly go with me to the grave. I have no idea what they are worth but they got Elvis' DNA on them so they are priceless to me.
Country music got some of the best stories, chilled laidback vibe, love it. Beth Hart is a great country singer. She covers an amazing song called I'd Rather Go blind with Joe Bonammasa. It's live from Amsterdam. Even though she's originally country this song is Rhythm and Blues. Calling it amazing is an understatement. I'm 1000% sure you'll love it🔥🔥
Glad you liked the songs he's a legend in country music I'm enjoying your reactions I'm subscribing to your channel you can't go wrong buying property just thoroughly do you research when buying
And he’s probably wearing a pair of custom made boots but he is a real country boy with millions. A great hunter and fisherman and here in Missouri we have an ole country boy outdoorsman named Johnny Morris look what that country boy is worth most city folks only dream!!!
This is a classic. I am so glad you enjoyed this. He has so many great songs that are a little more upbeat that you might like as well, try " All my Rowdy Friends are Coming Over Tonight ". Also, I married a country boy from TX and he would TOTALLY rock Gucci shades- 🙂.
This song always talked to me. I grew up with a party and bonfire with bands playing in our backyard every weekend. I did exactly what you wsnt to do. I got a big piece of land. I built my house and my Brothers next door. My Kids live right here how I want it. Ky is a paradise here in the USA. God bless ya.
i live in the mountains of Tennessee, i met hand jr once and although hes wearin gucci that boy is as country as it gets. my momma was with me at the time and he treated her like she was the queen of england. ill never forget that time.
I've been listening to country, among other genres, for decades and along the way I've noticed that those who aren't very familiar with the genre assume it is monolithic, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Country artists always bring an intangible country soul to their music but they offer a wide variety of styles. For example check out Morgan Wallen "Thinkin' Bout Me", Eric Church "Smoke A Little Smoke", Upchurch "Real Country", Blake Shelton "God's Country" and Jason Aldean "Dirt Road Anthem"...plus so much more. BTW, Luke Bryan is a terrific artist, and a good human being. Don't let anyone tell you he isn't country. He's definitely got country soul. For a fun song check out his "One Margarita".
You should check out Freddie Fender, "Before the last Teardrop Falls", his real name was Baldemar Garza Huerta. Linda Ronstadt also "You're No Good" from the the Midnight Special performance.
Hank likes a certain style of sunglasses for the same reason he has a beard. H is self-conscious of the scars leftover from facial reconstruction. Man fell off a mountain and well,he Survived.
I'm born and raised in Houston, Texas too. We are so NOT Country in the cities! That's Mia with the trucks and farms. 😂 I am getting into Country now. Hank Williams Sr and Jr are names I always grew up hearing. So I started there especially Sr. Legends Of Honky Tonk ❤❤
H-Town!!!! Anytime you wanna come see the oldest recording studio in America, lmk.... it's in Houston... Sugarhill!!! 2nd ward baby!!! OST & Telephone Rd.... LOTS & LOTS of Texas music legends, since 1941

Individuality and inclucivity while forming your own opinion and broadening your mind and your horizons. Super Epic. Im happy for you. proud almost. Living out a dream, i have too much anxiety to take myself.youre gonna build a community of people that love you for this. Never compromise your integrity. Keep bringing the heat 🔥. Some ramon Ayala would be cool to react to,too, but for real, check them out..
City folk poke fun at us, but if this fragile system we have ever collapses we will see who has last laugh. We don't need money in order to provide for ourselves. If the grid goes down, we are fine without electricity. But if you don't know how to farm, hunt, fish and preserve your going to have a tough time of things.
Conway Twitty. He's a great country singer that looks like elvis from the same time period, too. His songs are made more popular by appearing on the adult cartoon comedy Family Guy. They play his music as a running gag, but it lowkey kinda slaps 😂. The older generation loves him. His music feels warm and cozy sorta. The only way to know is you gotta hear it for yourself. 😂 "I See The Want To In Your Eyes" by Conway Twitty. "Mr" Conway Twitty. Have fun. Im not a country music lover, really. Cuz it only really appliies to country living and i from L.A. so i dont relate as much. The music is good. It's just sorta confined to one space space of america, though, that not everyone one is privy to. And supremacist hicks give it a bad name and look. It's true and vivid storytelling, though, and very basic instruments that get the job done. And that's what country folk do. They get the job DONE. Then go play music on the porch as the sun goes down. Beautifully af. I respect country highly. Just not my cup of tea, really. Red Hot Chilli Peppers are more my speed cuz they are from southern California. And they used to play backyard shows it he 80s where i grew up before they were famous. I'd check them out to really see the difference and similarities in style from this and that and the third, Metal.

When you’re Hank Williams Jr, you can where anything you want.

Love, he is Hank Williams Jr he can wear what ever he wants
Back in the 70's, Hank fell 500 ft off of a mountain and it ALMOST killed him.... Lol, a country boy can survive 😁

Stevie Ray Vaughn. Texas Flood. Watch the live version. One of the greatest guitarists to ever do it.
Absolutely
100% agree anything SRV
Definitely, Mia! It’s Stevie’s performance at The El Mocambo I’m 1982, I think.

There is a misconception that Country can't be classy and gangster.
Bocephus can wear any sunglasses he wants sugar. He is country royalty.
Yeah you can wear Gucci. What do you expect him to wear sack clothes and trade corn? This is the 21st century.
Actually, he was wearing Gargoyle Sunglasses, very similar logo.
Based on what kind of Rock you said you like,I would recommend Van Halen and AC/DC . Great guitars and drums and fast .
Check out You Never Called Me By My Name from David Allen Coe.
He comes from country royalty
I know Hank Williams jr but I don’t know a lot of his music but he’s good
GO BLUE MIA!!!!

He has all custom jewelry and those are his own brand of sunglasses....He wore the sunglasses and grew the bread because he fell off a mountain and completely destroyed his face
Check out Copperhead Road by Steve Earle.
I'm from Northern California and what he says is all true.
A cyber truck ain't a truck . It'll die and leave you stranded long before a real truck ..also can't pull a real truck..but you are gorgeous 😁
