Awesome to hear!!! Yeah, this issue is driving me nuts as it 'resets' every single time I reformat the SD card in camera. I hope Apple has fix soon for this!

HELP: Hi Chris, thank you for another very informative video. I have a problem and hope you have some ideas to solve it. I took photos on my X-T3 and can flip through the photos on my camera in the playback mode. When I take the SD card out of the camera to move the photos to my hard drive, I can’t see the last 30 photos in the sub directory of the SD card. I can see all other pictures (about 2000). Mind that I use only slot 1 with one SD card. When I insert the card back into the camera, I can see the last 30 pictures clearly with the filename. Where are they? Any thoughts?

Hey Chris, I have a 2018 macbook pro 15in and I'm trying to use a 256gb microSDxC UHS-I card. my computer doesn't have anything but the usb-c ports, so I have a Hyper Drive thing that lets me use microSD's, usb's etc. my card still isn't showing up following what you did. Do you know whats wrong?

Hey Chris! Could you do a video on SD cards can be used in what settings. Eg. UHS-ii for everything, UHS-i for 100mbits in full HD. So that people may know that what kind of cards they may get for their new Fuji cameras. Thanks!

Ok, I can open the microsd card now, but the jpgs are only visible on the image capture and not in a folder I copied them either in Pictures or in downloads. The computer does not read the files

I have a Mac mini 2020 with the m1 chip. I tried what you did, but without any luck. I have ran XCELLON card reader which worked fine with my old Mac mini (2014). Any suggestions?

Most interesting - def a bug I'd say. Thanks for making us aware, and I did confirm it's happening on my MBP16 also. But interestingly, I hadn't noticed because the only USB storage devices I've attached are ext disks via a USB-C connected HUB, AND a flash drive that I inserted into an external dongle I use for HDMI (that also has a USB-A port), and it recognized all of them. I guess us early adopters will see a patch update soon. BTW - Capture One 20 seems to be working fine on Big Sur. The first app I tested.

I just connected XH2 Fuji with CFExpress card inside of Prograde to M1 Macbook pro -> on Fuji i see USB , but on my not visible at all ..have you struggle into this issue maybe ?
what is the max sd (or micro sd) card size that my 2009 macbook pro can read?
Fun Fact: although the card does not show up in the sidebar of Finder, it does show up in list, icon and columns view. Just click on one of your external drives in the side bar (no double click) and you should be able to see the SD Card labeled "untitled" among all your external drives. Saves you the time for renaming and rebooting the card. Hope this helps!
