EVERYONE HEAR ME OUT: 4 years ago I watched this video. I got my splits in 2 weeks, even tho I got my splits I used to still do this every day. This video actually helps a lot, but sadly I stopped gymnastics 2 years ago. Now I can't even do anything hahha, I decided to get them back and the first video that came to mind was this, after one week which is now: I got my splits y'all IM SO HAAPPY
that happened to me too. I watched this 6 years ago and I did the splits on my left and now in dance I gotta finish an exercise with me doing the splits with my right leg and its really helping
For all those that are trying to learn to do the splits from beginner, this is what I have learnt after trying from complete scratch to splits in 4 months: -I had 2 days of no stretching every week so that my body had time to repair, but when it came back to Monday it ALWAYS felt like my stretchiness restarted for the first two months, DO NOT LOSE HOPE keep trying because that was normal -you may end up pushing yourself too hard one day and be in terrible pain so that you cannot stretch it (if it’s really bad then you’ll probably need it checked out) but don’t fret and don’t push it, just wait a week or two and try again (this has happened to me multiple times) -you could keep track of your stretchiness in a book/photos to show your improvements and encourage you but tbh that only lasted me 2 months then I got lazy -MAKE SURE you fully warm up your muscles so that you don’t have go through the pain like I did -Watch multiple videos so that you don’t just stretch what is displayed here but so you can stretch different parts of your body which will help you get your splits, you can even write them all down and make a routine which I did -finally, just don’t give up, I stretched every weekday for 15 minutes with a few weeks break (when I pushed too far/got lazy) and I got it finally in four months, SO DONT GIVE UP!!! I've been training for 5 months every day, and I'm getting close. My friend trained for 3 weeks. Didn't even try and she got them. It's not very fair 😂
I can not do splits AT ALL, and i warmed up with this five minite split thing, and i could do it, and mah friend was like bruh, but i guess cause before, i did dance, and i couldnt go all the way down, so my teacher stood on my legs to force me down, and then i got it (dont try at home, it HURTSSSSS)

Did this routine several times a week starting May 12th this year. Got my front splits today! I started getting antsy at home after my pole studio (I do pole dance for fitness) shut due to my state's regulations. I found this video and started doing the exact routine here (with a couple extra side splits stretches added in) at least several times a week. I was pretty inflexible before, but noticeable improvement came a lot faster than I was expecting. I did start attending a flexibility class as well, once my pole studio reopened in July, but even with that I continued with this routine several times a week. Thank you to Cassey for helping get me to my flexibility goal :) For a relatively inflexible person it took me 7 months, which isn't a miracle "I got splits in 2 weeks!!" result, but I did get there with regular training and persistence. And it was a lot faster than I was expecting. *blows kiss to this video*
I learned the splits in 1 and a half months. when I first started I was not flexible at all! but then when I started to stretch 1 or 2 or maybe even 3 times a day I got more flexible by the day. I knew how to do the splits when I was 5 and I guess or I think that might of helped. I suggest putting an alarm or reminder to stretch in the morning and night or one or the other. REMEMBER IT TAKES ALOTTTTTT of patience I didn't even start getting close till I actually tried. I also suggest taking a hot shower it will help speed up the process and ALSO remember NO PAIN NO GAIN the 5 weeks I didn't feel pain till I started performing the splits and putting a pillow underneath me to . then when it went down to one pillow I then it went down to no pillows. While doing this technique try resting 15 seconds then stay put in the position 30 seconds. while I was doing the " 30 - 15" trick I felt an emptiness in my stomach so I always ate pieces of bananas.
Great tips! I'm just a few centimetres away to getting all the way down to the floor, so I'm sure your stretches will be very helpful :) Oh, and I'm also on my way to achieving the headstand thanks to you! :) I've never been able to master the crane pose and I'm not sure exactly what I'm soing wrong, so I'd really love to see a tutorial on that :)
No matter what my aim is when it comes to improve my flexibility/shape/cure of the self, Cassey always has the right video. She never changed attitude through the years and she is as lovely as the first day I saw her videos for the first time... 💕

Started practicing this almost 3 months back during quarantine. I have never been consistent enough to succeed in doing splits. And after starting having some anxiety and feeling bad all the time, here I am, laying in the mat after doing the second last step of this routine and I'm gonna edit my comment everyday only after I've finished working out so that I get to the results. The only thing I didn't like about the video is the need to constantly pause to do the other side. It would be neat if you made a longer video on how to do the splits and you showed us how long to hold the poses and stretches.
Go through e video one time for the right leg and then the other leg. When working splits, it's on to do all one leg and then all the other. I hope this helps! Good luck!
I used other stretches and videos for months to do the splits and my progress was painfully slow, but thanks to you and these stretches I finally got my splits in less than a couple weeks!

Tips on how to do the splits: U have to wait until winter. When u see a frozen puddle just go on it,then try sliding and once u lose control,bam. U done ur splits.

@@rahee8738 yes it is just keep in mind two thing in my opinion then they will be easy as butter 1.do the streches seriously like if it hurts its because its new and we are doing this to make it easy do its seriously and 2.when u are close to getting splits try sitting at a side while making ur booty touch the floor it will hurt in beginig but after few time it will be so easy :) and after u started sitting on a bit tilted side try sitting straight onto it but dont overlimit ur body. Hope it helps❤️ *and a tip i firstly did it on straight up morning but that was not effective so i recommend doing it on evening and when ur sitting make sure to have a distraction with u( like a phone or tv) so the pain flies away * and mostly try doing the touching toes exercise and if u can touch ur toes try touching ur head to ur knees without bending them and if u succed u will soon get them :))
Been practicing for two weeks and I now can do what looks like a split but a foot from the ground haha. I'm not naturally flexible so that's pretty good. But I can touch my toes and put a foot behind my head, so I'm definitely improving. Will keep updating.

This really works y'all!! I've been doing these daily for the past couple weeks and my splits are easier than ever before! My hamstrings are much looser and don't hurt hardly at all when I do the splits! It works, just stay with it!

Ui use to do splits without stretching when i was like 11 (i was born very flexible) but now i am 16 and i lost my flexibility bcz i didn't stretch all these past year! I am really sad now but i can get back to them, i hope❤️
I really like the stretches in this video, but I think it would've been helpful to have the stretches modeled in real time, giving us the proper amount of time per side to stretch.
Naomi Nini I think you misunderstood my comment. I know how long the stretches are supposed to be done for. I'm saying that it would've been more helpful to be given the allotted amount of time for each stretch on each side in the video.

GUYS IT IS WORKING OMGG!!! I've been doing it since 1st January and I could do it for 3 weeks and after 3 weeks distance between my legs and floor was just 15cm or something. Look guys I was not flexible at all before that video but I went so away from the beginning. Just do it everyday it takes 30 minutes or less. But be patient and after 3-4 weeks you will see the difference. You will be way more flexible!! 5cm or something to the floor now. On my bad leg its about 10cm (I had to take a long break because of my exams but when I went on I was still flexible and I am not doing it daily I am doing it 3 times a week or something. But I am so glad that I am MORE flexible now) So please just be patient and go beyond of PLUS ULTRA😁😁 Oh by the way I did every pose and warm ups about 1 minute😅 (except split i did it 20 seconds for a leg) because i wanted to get split faster and I guess it worked

For those of ya'll wondering if this works: Hell yeah it does! I'm still on my second week and I already see the effects. Before, I can't even put my feet up on a pole that is as tall as half my torso without shaking, now I can put it up higher without even a smidge of shake!

Started practicing this almost 3 months back during quarantine. I have never been consistent enough to succeed in doing splits. And after starting having some anxiety and feeling bad all the time, here I am, laying in the mat after doing the second last step of this routine and I'm gonna edit my comment everyday only after I've finished working out so that I get to the results. I know it'll help with my other issues too.

The only thing I didn't like about the video is the need to constantly pause to do the other side. It would be neat if you made a longer video on how to do the splits and you showed us how long to hold the poses and stretches.

Go through e video one time for the right leg and then the other leg. When working splits, it's on to do all one leg and then all the other. I hope this helps! Good luck!

Tips on how to do the splits:
U have to wait until winter.
When u see a frozen puddle just go on it,then try sliding and once u lose control,bam. U done ur splits.

@@rahee8738 yes it is just keep in mind two thing in my opinion then they will be easy as butter 1.do the streches seriously like if it hurts its because its new and we are doing this to make it easy do its seriously and 2.when u are close to getting splits try sitting at a side while making ur booty touch the floor it will hurt in beginig but after few time it will be so easy :) and after u started sitting on a bit tilted side try sitting straight onto it but dont overlimit ur body. Hope it helps❤️ *and a tip i firstly did it on straight up morning but that was not effective so i recommend doing it on evening and when ur sitting make sure to have a distraction with u( like a phone or tv) so the pain flies away * and mostly try doing the touching toes exercise and if u can touch ur toes try touching ur head to ur knees without bending them and if u succed u will soon get them :))

Been practicing for two weeks and I now can do what looks like a split but a foot from the ground haha. I'm not naturally flexible so that's pretty good. But I can touch my toes and put a foot behind my head, so I'm definitely improving. Will keep updating.

This really works y'all!! I've been doing these daily for the past couple weeks and my splits are easier than ever before! My hamstrings are much looser and don't hurt hardly at all when I do the splits! It works, just stay with it!

GUYS IT IS WORKING OMGG!!! I've been doing it since 1st January and I could do it for 3 weeks and after 3 weeks distance between my legs and floor was just 15cm or something. Look guys I was not flexible at all before that video but I went so away from the beginning. Just do it everyday it takes 30 minutes or less. But be patient and after 3-4 weeks you will see the difference. You will be way more flexible!! 5cm or something to the floor now. On my bad leg its about 10cm (I had to take a long break because of my exams but when I went on I was still flexible and I am not doing it daily I am doing it 3 times a week or something. But I am so glad that I am MORE flexible now) So please just be patient and go beyond of PLUS ULTRA😁😁
Oh by the way I did every pose and warm ups about 1 minute😅 (except split i did it 20 seconds for a leg) because i wanted to get split faster and I guess it worked

Amazing! Got my splits in 2 days. I could only do my right splits...but now i can do my left too! I do these stretches twice a day.....morning and afternoon
For those of ya'll wondering if this works: Hell yeah it does! I'm still on my second week and I already see the effects. Before, I can't even put my feet up on a pole that is as tall as half my torso without shaking, now I can put it up higher without even a smidge of shake!
