TPC probably confused nuzlockes with randomizers, as they're paired up usually on UA-cam. So when Kit and Krysta wanted to do a nuzlocke, a thing which TPC isn't that aware of, they probably looked it up, and saw all the randomizer nuzlocke content, thus comparing it to using a hacked version of a game.
I was wondering if maybe TPC just didn't want nuzlocke runs to be recognized in any official capacity, but this theory checks out too. Either way it's definitely just a miscommunication somewhere along the line rather than kit n krysta actively and intentionally trying to spread misinformation

Love your videos I'm Native (Kanai/Blackfoot) so honestly on the Mr. Game and Watch situation honestly, I managed to miss but this is one of those situations where it is an offense stereotype that I am personally sick of seeing. It's the 'savage indian' stereotype especially given the original Game and Watch game it was based on. Most of my childhood I grew up with seeing only really stereotypes of Natives that were only based on a handful of tribes (usually the tribes in the plains) I know it's not as bad as an entire football team having a literal racist term as a team name. But it's something I would prefer not to see. This is honestly kinda of a loaded topic once you learn more about what has happened and is still happening to Natives. I appreciate you asking for our opinions on this since in general minority groups aren't really properly listen to.

on the price increase, it also varies with country, here in Canada, a lot of Switch games are 80 dollars each even for simple side scrolling mario and 50 dollars extra for the NSO expansion, PS5 games are no different ranging from 70 to 120 bucks, it's pretty insane at the moment and I tend to emulate more just to get games still because costs too much, I have to save up my fixed income money for even one single game, yeah Nintendo didn't think this through with the pandemic effecting price of existence so yeah if Nintendo want us to buy more, then lower prices, especially when sidescrolling Mario is not worth 80 f@#%ing dollars, Mario Odyssey I can see being 80 cause of the huge open world, high graphics, lots of content, 3-D platformer, yeah 80 dollars, but Mario U and Wonder, no, far from it, at most 20 dollars cause it's basically NES Mario but 2.5D instead of 2-D

I can definitely see how allowing fan content could be a slippery slope, you allow one thing and then something that's very similar but with a few decisions that maybe don't really align with what you want your company being viewed as show up, but since you allowed the first thing it would seem fairly rational to allow this because its similar, then while the next one is even further from desirable it's not too far from the second, and so you just have this gradual bit by bit worsening of the type of content being created up until you're suddenly associated with doom and gloom when you're supposed to be a family company. It’s a $30 DLC for a $60 game, and part of it requires a subscription to play. What the heck?
I don't think any native Americans were hurt in the slightest by being shown in a video game, there was absolutely no negative connotations or anything, it barely even looked like it was actually a native American to begin with, it looked like a black blob. A single frame of animation that flashes by in a game is probably not going to do any harm to anyone. Personally, I wouldn't have then gone and changed it like Nintendo did, but of course I make games for my own personal entertainment and probably wouldn't even really care if someone might find it offensive because it was never for them anyway, whereas Nintendo makes games for money primarily as well as some side goals which means it is important to cater to the audience even if it means changing a tiny minute detail in a single frame of animation.
