Ian is one of my favorite singers. He's not Jim, he's not pretending to be Jim. He does the material justice. I saw them at the LA county fair in 2004, and it was a magical experience. I remember seeing a kid who couldn't have been older than 16 who was singing along. He knew every word. Everybody loved it.
Critics on call, say what you want, this presentation is sensational. Manzarek commanding the show and Ian paying tribute to his idol! And who was there, going crazy! We all deserve this! We miss you, Jim & Manzarek!

For the record JDM actually resented this moniker for the rest of his tragically short life 💔 probably he regretted ever writing these exact words because they were used against him... Yes...I am sure JDM would have approved!
