I have been drinking this juice for about four years! My skin has a glow and looks firmer, my hair is shiny , highly recomended! It helps to lower my high cholesterol and because the ginger in it , helps me with inflamación on my tendons. It’s amazing!
Seriously!! This is the channel I've been dreaming for...wanting to go vegan but loving my Jamaican food and struggling to figure out a way to still do Jamaican food plant based so thank you very much!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Another great Jamaican juice recipe is carrot juice, blended with, coconut milk, cinnamon, ginger and honey (its amazing!!). So can you show is how to make it? 3
I've tried eating this food without juicing it. It's great. It costs less and you also get the fiber which helps improve gut health. The ginger and kale can be blended with some extra water and one more apple.
@@jgut69 yes straining pulls out the fiber but you can get fiber by eating healthy meals. By removing the fiber you make it to where the juice doesn't have to be processed in the stomach. The nutrients go straight into your blood stream.
I dont strain my green juice be cause 1. It dirties The strainer and bowl which means more dishes to clean and 2. It takes the pulp and fiber out which means your body will get hungry again soon after you drink it.
Exactly, so just use the pulp to make breads or quiches, it's all good, but juicing is just a way to give our guys a bit of a break and clean out the bulk of the waste, though it's not to take the place of the actual food, it does give us a jump start to cleansing the colon and gut, but good point 👍
Thanks for sharing, did this today for my entire family and everyone enjoyed it, even my eight year old nephew! I substituted apples from grapes though.... Blessings and thanks again.
I make this almost everyday in my cold press juicer. One thing I would recommend is to start with 1 inch of ginger and increase a little at a time according to your taste. The amount she used in this video would be wayyy too much for my wife and I (of course, with the juicer, we don't add any water). Also, I keep a glass bottle in the freezer and pour the juice into that to let it chill while I clean everything up. Generally, we make just enough for one serving at a time. By the way, this is the exact recipe, "Joe's Mean Green", Joe Cross has in his app,
You can also use the pulp to make breads or quiches. I would juice carrots and then let my (veggie shy) grandkids play with the pulp for hours "like play dough", they loved it and they didn't even know that their skin was absorbing the nutrients lol, they just had fun!! Be advised, it's a bit messy, but the kids love it 👍
Nice one sis. Going to try this right now. Have all the ingredients 😄. Thanks for the info in the description as well sis. Highly appreciated. Bless up uself 🙏🏼😊
@Sheppy Bradshaw You’re welcome, I’m glad you tried the recipe! First green juice of many 😄. I agree with you on the celery and I had to learn that sometimes what’s good for us will not be finger licking all the time.
As I was first introduced to "juicing", I would juice liters of juices , from apples to celery, betroots and carrots, and store them in the refrigerator for 3 days, and I would drink it early in the morning 'till ten o' clock....enjoyed it, it woz fine! but, then, I created a serious "vowel" movement, that allows me to release my "feces" into "small amounts", because of the lack of fibers in the juices.........it became a "PROBLEM"!!! So, I immediately stopped juicing!!!!! Now, I purchased a watermelon, and put them in the fridge! I would mix them with water and one banana and twoo scoops of green powder!!! I can't tell the difference, it's a juice!!! From a dead powder to a green smoothie....i dunno wot people make these days, by which they call " HEALTHY ", but, yeah......the process ain't healthy at all!!!so, beware....
Paint strainer bag from Sherwin Williams paint strainer works great ring out all the juice. Vitamix blender recipe book blended whole juice recipe add ice on top blended 90 second's no need to strain some of us don't get enough Fiber

It looks good but why gotten rid of most of the main nutrients and fiber to compose, and only drink the water?? The valuable nutrients are in the whole veg and fruit, except the seeds.
You don’t have to strain it, however to get a more refine texture just blend a bit longer. The fiber is good, but the body will absorb the nutrients from just the juice quicker. The fiber mostly enhance peristalsis.

Hi, Im curious to ask. Most of the nutrients are in the fiber or pulps is it not? Why should we get rid of them? Thank you
Same question. Maybe we can use it for veg broth instead?
you shouldn't. lots of nutrients and fiber in the pulp. drives me crazy how people don't drink it.
Just remix with more water & drink it
