I really, really, really appreciate your videos Roach. My dad and I lived in Las Vegas back in the late 80’s. He bought an RC10 for me for Xmas in 86 or 87. Once we got out on the track and started figuring it all out, I developed a knack for driving and he with the mechanical. We got a JRX2 when it first came out! We were a great team, started kicking butt locally and eventually were driving to southern Cali on the weekends for better completion lol and we found it! We did well mostly in stock 2wd buggy and truck classes. We were partly involved in the Losi truck development back then , from what I remember. Went to a couple national events with NORCA and ROAR and did well. Picked up a Losi sponsorship along with a few others. Gil Sr and dad became friendly and dad managed the Ranch Pit Stop for a while. My first job was in the packing and shipping department, I was 13 yrs old. Good times with my dad and Team Losi!! Thanks for taking me back there!!
I have a T3 that is beat to tar and still plugs along. I still prefer the rear engine.
I still run my t4.1.
Not enough competition to justify a new t6.4...yet🤞
I have the t4.1 and it gets better traction at my medium grip, outdoor clay track than the mid-motor trucks. Rear motor is still viable. It's a shame that the new trucks don't give you the option of rear or mid-motor.
we need a minority class vs minority class vid. short course vs stadium truck
That's a pretty good idea actually
@@RoachRC 🤣
Yes this!!
Does the T6.4 come with the OctoLock Slipper Pads? The T6.2 did not, had the Octo spur but not the newest pads. AND what is your technique for pressing the pin in the slipper layshaft? That is my biggest struggle with the AE race kit builds.
It does come with the Octolock slipper and my technique is basically needle nose pliers at a slight angle.
Thanks for stopping by Net😊
I can't not wait to paint my sons and get him out on the track with it. I bought him one as I work at RC Excitement, in Fitchburg, MA. We have a nice indoor clay track there. The build was easy and fast as build the b6.4 and its nice some of the parts left over work for the b6.4. Good stuff bud.
roach! i like you pink bodies. Reminds me of when I was a teen looking at the two page ad for the Losi JRxPro w/ the black/pink body and pinkish wheels. Very early 1990s.
I haven't seen a stadium truck on a track in years.
No 17 veiw
Im abkut to buy a t6.4 for carpet. Besides gear diff, and aluminum what else would you add to it? Stiffer springs? Rear anti roll bars/ stiffer front? Thanks
Pretty much stiffer everything so you're on the right track
Although I don't think I will ever buy another ST, but I think it's cool that there are people that like the class. Well done sir!👍
I just got that and it’s the best truck except for one of my short courses
Poor Losi driver's lol.
5:50 DUUUUUDE, your not gonna tell use what those parts are? what else besides a gear diff?
Tbh I didn't use much beyond a gear diff when I did run turf, just thicker fluids.
For carpet I'd go with sway bars at least in the front, and stiffer springs.
@@RoachRC thanks, your the best
cool rc and run on the track, great review
Love your work, well done.
5:55.... What all is needed to make it a carpet ready truck? I am currently building a TA sc106.4 and found very limited resources on what is needed to make it better for carpet.. Any help would be appreciated 🙏 love the content keep it coming
Righty then, these are what I'm going to recommend

ALong with some thicc boi swaybars I couldn't seem to find
Ahh so adding extra weight will definitely help lower c.g! Thank you.. I also am going to a full gear diff and was thinking about the gull wing b6.4 arms as well... My home town track is a high bite carpet we do have some decent size jumps so cant get too low but its always test a d tune... Appreciate your reply and suggestions amain just got another order placed!!
thank you so much for asking this question back when the video was new so it would get an answer. as for that answer Mr. roach, i think in the video you said $90-$110. i know you would need more than a couple weights so gear diff, weights and what a rear sway bar? that doesnt equal $90
Started racing last year, always wanted a stado as a kid, wow, first race with my t6.4 the other week… such a great class.. so easy to drive 🤯
You will probably want 37.5 in the front shocks
I got the 6.2 and no trucks really show up to the track
What body is this?
Pro line axis I believe
@@RoachRC Thank you! Looks cool!
Dope!!!!!
Well done!
Having more interest in the short course truck. Not finding a lot info on the 6.4. Is it pretty much the same and why didn’t you get it instead of the stadium?
Cause I wanted a stadium truck. More fun to me
Dude thank you .. had my sway bar
connection, things, backwards, front, and the back in the back in the front all this time lmbo 😎😁🦾
How is the axis body holding up?
Not well
@@RoachRC ouch. I hate hearing that but it’s not the 1st time. I’m going to make my 6.2 a little drag truck and was going to use that body. I got the F2 now.
