What are your outside lights? Where'd you get them?

When I build mine, I’ll just do the bare minimum for electrical. Once it gets inspected, then I’ll run my conduit and receptacles where I want to suit me.

Best way to do it for sure

What made you pick EMT conduit instead of MC cable? It looks nicer for sure.

Mainly the looks, but also being able to run multiple circuits in the same conduit. MC cable looks like cheap, IMO.

What automatic garage door openers did you use?

As an electrical guy I realize that the local building department can adjust the electrical building code as they see fit. Your build might meet all those requirements as built.
I would encourage you to check with a local electrician or the building office (permit guys) to make sure you have the safest build before you get inspected.
If you are not in compliance, they can have you undo your work and re-install it differently.
Recepticles should not face skyward as they will catch the dust and dirt and cause problems.
This building may fall under the rules for garages and require gfci protection for all recepticles even 125-250 vac and require a recepticle in each garage bay.
A building disconnect or the panel being a specific distance or closer to the door for fire fighting may be required in your area.
Outside lighting placement and a required outside recepticle may have specific location requirements in your area.
So, I will leave everyone with this thought:
If knowledge is the treasure you can give all you have away and still have what you started with, did you steal anything from your local electrical guys if you get some if theirs?

@@jimcole6423 sir, in many areas you pay for each inspection/re-inspection.
My intention is to save others from these types of headaches.
For example,; placing a recepticle on the wrong side of a stud, has caused several people to have to open the finished wall to move th recepticle, box, and wiring 4 inches.
Now, I am an electrical guy, not an insurance guy, nor a lawyer. So, I often asked this question with no good answer give, "If the electrical build is not done under a permit or not done to building code, who pays for any problems,?" If it is not the insurance company, then the owner must sue the installer. I wish no one ugly, but if it can be avoided by some phone calls because I spoke up......
      Thanks.
