    What are the extension hoses you are using to daisy chain the backhoe into the rear hydraulic kit? Seems much easier to hook it up there at the top rather than directly at the power beyond.

    Nice - about to add the longer one on my 1025r and was wondering about the shorter cylinders. Think I'll go with the longer for now - but I agree - one in between would be perfect. Did you route the power beyond hoses thru opposite ends of the block - pressure in the bottom and tank out the top? I did both mine on the bottom ports - any reason for doing it that way or did I see that wrong (was a little hard to see the hose routing). Seems like flow might be smoother doing it the way you have it.

    • @BigDaddyAddyMS
      @BigDaddyAddyMS 27 днів тому

      @@tractortherapy42 yes, I did one on top and one on bottom, but I don’t think it affects the flow. I did it because of the way I connect/disconnect my backhoe lines into the loop. This way, there’s more room for my hand to connect the hose on the bottom.

    Got the one cart for my 260. On bxpanded website they had a separate cart to the older 260 and newer 260B, but only difference I’m seeing is three cross beams where the bucket rests. Wondering there a difference in the wheel height between the two carts? I really like the quick hitch/3 point dolly on the pallet. Eventually I’d like to make something similar for my 3 point. Just like that it would save time switching from 3 point to backhoe and vise versa.

    Install looks perfect! Of course, if you did feel it was too close to your head at any point, just loosen those U-Bolt nuts and slide the whole unit up, then tighten 'em back down. The reason we don't pre-drill those holes in the L-Bracket is just to keep costs down. You are right that we bent the strut to match the angle of the roll bar, but we're also using those struts on a few series of other tractors that have unique roll bars. So we just keep the cost down and require the customer to drill the two holes. One L-Bracket design also keeps stock a little simpler. Good video and sorry I saw it so late!

    Thanks for your reply yesterday, I really like how smoothly your lift and tilt functions operate. So for me to get that same smoothness I'll need check valves installed on both the top and tilt cylinders AND have check valves installed in the lines. Is that correct? Now for my rookie question, how many check valves and where do you install them on the lines? Since this is new territory for me you've been a big help.

    • @BigDaddyAddyMS
      @BigDaddyAddyMS 8 місяців тому

      The check valves don’t affect the smoothness, they just prevent them from leaking down. But no, you only need one check valve per cylinder. The ones that mount to the cylinder are the easiest to deal with. Good luck!
