great video as always from the TAH channel, it goes into great detail of how the war was conducted and how it started though i think that some of the points given were not clarified as they should of been, the examples from the washington post posts were talked as if they irrefutably proved that there were no evidence for military activity in the hospital when in the article itself it is merely an assumption and not given as a fact, the other part the one at the start of the war where it stated that israel had been constantly warned about an impending hamas attack was also not addressed well as it failed to point out that as far as it is known to me, israel has constantly denied the claims that it was warned, overall the video does explain and express most points correctly and my points really can only be seen as nit picky, though i do feel that it is important to cover the topic to the best and most accurate ability especially when there is a lot of misinformation going around.

Good video, but Gaza was not "occupied" on October 6th. Israel had withdrawn in 2005. They instituted an embargo after Hamas started shooting rockets, but it was still the highest per capita aid area in the world.
Oh right, Israel wasn't occupying Gaza, it was just: -Controlling food entry -Controlling electricity -Controlling fuel -Controlling travel in and out -Controlling entry of building materials -Controlling fishing areas -Bombing and invading periodically This totally sounds like a non-occupied territory right? Because they're normal men whose whole families were killed or their houses were obliterated, and they can't afford a uniform. What would you do if this aggressive religious-extremist colonial state invaded your country?
No mention of Hamas’s committing war crimes by hiding in hospitals, schools, the tunnels under residential buildings, etc. The horrors of the October 7th attack seem severely underplayed. There’s video footage for those atrocities. The number of Palestinian “civilian” deaths are given by Hamas, hardly a reliable source. What other country, after suffering a terrorist attack as devastating as Oct. 7th, would order evacuations, drop “knock bombs” to clear buildings, and take such a long time going through casualty-heavy (for Israeli soldiers) urban warfare, rather than just carpet bombing the place? The US dropped two atomic bombs for less. Israel has an airforce. If they wanted to wipe Gaza out, they could. Stick to history videos, or at least cite your sources and make some distinction as to who’s more reliable.
Yeah his coverage of oct 7th one of the worst terror attacks in history is crazy. It deserves it's own video. There's no equivalence with war on Hamas. 9/11 isn't contrasted with Operation Crescent Wind that killed 12,000 people 2 months after. They RAPED. They tortured. Gentiles love downplaying violence against Jews. The bias is so strong against Jews that even when they're murdered, it's minimized.
at minute 12.29, that is not the current flag of Egypt, folks. The Hawk of Qureish displayed is Gaddafis design (of his failed Federation of Arab Republics), not the current emblem (the current one being correct, heraldically, as beasts look right handside, i.e. to the left of he who looks at the flag).
Because of how similar looking many pan-Arab flags are whether historical or modern, mistakes like this are bound to happen at any time. The Palestinian flag for example [🇵🇸] is a derivation of the one adopted by the Hejaz kingdom since 1920 and the short lived Hashemite Arab federation. Jordan today has a similar flag with a heptagram on the red triangle to represent the dynasty, and the Ba'ath party also flew one similar to that of the Palestinians as well.
In my opinion it's not neutral. It tends to almost the entire video focus almost exclusively on Palestinian Gazans and their position and perspective, yet then almost entirely disregards the Israeli one, fails to mention the fact that 1,400 Israelis died in a single day (far more than Israel has done to Gazans in one day because of accidental civilian casualties), and trends almost a pro-Palestinian if not almost anti-Israeli perspective (as he has done with other videos about Israel and Palestine in the past) on the matter. I AM NOT disregarding the points that he makes here. Any loss of life is a tragedy and I think that the aspects he talks about in this video are very valid. But he doesn't provide a perspective reasoning behind why Israel is doing what it is doing (despite the fact that he does for Hamas) which then makes Israel look like a warmongering nation that just wants to kill people when they aren't. They're the same as any other western nation. France, Germany, the UK, and certainly America WOULD NOT tolerate the death of 1,400 of the citizens in a single event and know who did it without retaliating MASSIVELY. If Cuban army soldiers landed in Florida, gu*nned down 1,400 people, and then fled back to Cuba, America would bomb Cuba back to the stone-age without a single afterthought about the civilian population there. Israel's response compared to what these nations would do is, in retrospect, much tamer, and yes, while over time it has resulted in a growing amount of civilian casualties (as one would expect), the fact that we can see that for the most part there have not been mass civilian casualty events (such as in the hundreds) as evidence that Israel still cares about those that live in Gaza that have nothing to do with this war. Mistakes will happen, things that someone thought was one thing will turn out to not be there, and people could die from it, but that does not mean it was intentional. Should there be accountability? Of course. You can see this even in his own videos where he calls Al-Qaeda terrorists, yet he doesn't call Hamas terrorists, despite the fact that they both have done the same things. The only reason he doesn't take the same approach in this video is that it's Israel, so then Hamas must have at least a "partial reasoning" behind why it committed atrocities. It is not a neutral analysis because it does not fairly assess the reasonings behind BOTH sides and BOTH perspectives. Most analysis' will not be neutral or objective in nature and will have one form of bias for one side or another usually. While I do enjoy this channel, and think the point and perspective he makes for the Palestinians is absolutely valid, the fact that he glosses over if not outright ignores the Israeli one makes it not a truly neutral viewpoint Does that mean that this video is not an accurate telling of the military aspect of it? No it 100% is accurate and I enjoy it for that reason. The only problem comes when a military analysis channel then tries to take a political stance.
@@FishWithAquaphobiaFirst, let me start by saying that what Hamas did on October 7th was evil, but it does not prevent people from criticizing Israel's response since they are a developed nation and should be held to a higher standard than a terrorist group. Also, every country would overreact like Israel, the US, my home country, did after 9/11, does not make it right. I agree that he probably should have gone into a little more detail about the Israeli perspective because Israeli has a legitimate reason to be upset. However, he got the vital part of Hamas killing innocent civilians, and October 7th was global news and the notion that people do not know about Hamas's atrocities is ridiculous. Furthermore, October 7th was one day, and it's been a few months, and there is a lot to cover about the ground war in Gaza, so I get why that day would not take up too much of a 19-minute video. Also, he did not talk about the overall casualties of either side because nothing is finalized yet; it is an ongoing conflict. Your 1400 number is inaccurate, I would do a quick Google because there is a new number out, but it will probably change again when the conflict concludes. Either way, numbers don't really matter because innocent people died. Also, I concede Armchair Historian was a little biased, but I think they were more neutral than most, which is why I made my comment.
@@Scribe1941 The only problem is that it requires someone to have previous knowledge about what's been going on in the war to understand both sides. From an objective standpoint, the video does not do a good job of covering the Israeli perspective and goes into much more detail on the Palestinian and even the Hamas perspectives. So, if someone who has no prior idea about this war, it doesn't do a good job of explaining it to them for both sides so that the viewer can make their own judgements on the matter, and instead heavily implies that you should be siding with or at least sympathize with the Palestinians because of the civilian casualties alone. I am not saying that this video IS saying to side with them and I'm not saying that sympathizing with Palestinians is bad either, I'm saying to the uneducated viewer it is not a good introduction. While obviously trying to cram reasoning about a 70 year old conflict into a 19 minute UA-cam video will end up leaving crucial details out, in my opinion this channel does best when it simply focuses on the military maneuvers in detail, instead of talking about political narratives that will one way or another end up being biased towards a certain side.
@@FishWithAquaphobiaIs the previous knowledge required to understand the conflict in your opinion , knowledge of October 7th or the whole 70 year conflict?

great video as always from the TAH channel, it goes into great detail of how the war was conducted and how it started though i think that some of the points given were not clarified as they should of been, the examples from the washington post posts were talked as if they irrefutably proved that there were no evidence for military activity in the hospital when in the article itself it is merely an assumption and not given as a fact, the other part the one at the start of the war where it stated that israel had been constantly warned about an impending hamas attack was also not addressed well as it failed to point out that as far as it is known to me, israel has constantly denied the claims that it was warned, overall the video does explain and express most points correctly and my points really can only be seen as nit picky, though i do feel that it is important to cover the topic to the best and most accurate ability especially when there is a lot of misinformation going around.

Bro really said the IDF didn't say that the calendar was "a list of members" while showing the calendar all too proudly
pretty balance, and neutral, good job!
While I do enjoy this channel, and think the point and perspective he makes for the Palestinians is absolutely valid, the fact that he glosses over if not outright ignores the Israeli one makes it not a truly neutral viewpoint
Does that mean that this video is not an accurate telling of the military aspect of it?
