You can see the bias in this documentary. When the Chechens carried out an ethical cleansing and expelled almost a million Russian residents from Chechnya, since the end of the Soviet Union, the speaker does not think the reason for the attack is big enough, and he presents the eleventh of September as a righteous revenge and the massacre of hundreds of thousands of civilians, which Putin is supposed to use to turn attention from Chechnya. In addition, America's Netting of Rebellion to Break Russia is omitted.

I wish you also mentioned that the main defender of the city was a close friend to the attacking commander, and their comms have been recorded extensively. It's a very tragic part of the war. The siege leader asked the other side to give up multiple times, but they were adamant even in the face of destruction. By the last transmission it is basically two friends saying their goodbyes to each other.

If I understand this correctly. Aslan Muscadov was a man trying his best to keep his people alive and independent but due to elements of religious extremists, his dream of an Independent Chechnya was ruined. Idk if he truly had good intentions but from this video, it seems he was more caring about keeping his nation and people alive than rendering them to the Caucus equivalent to Al-Qaeda.
I may be wrong for saying this but may this man rest easy as he seemed to genuinely care for his people
