People started to say there was starvation going on in Gaza less than two weeks after Hamas attacked Israel. I know the Middle East well. For months we saw a lot, and I do mean a lot, of significantly overweight men and women so it wasn't them who were starving. The latest video of Yahya Sinwar, his kids and children living in the tunnels showed ample bags of food labeled UNRWA while his PhD wife was carrying a $40,000 Burkin handbag! We also saw many Gazans stealing food aid and reselling it at high prices. If people starved it was because no one around them was showing charity. Yes people died from already having health problems like diabetes, heart disease, obesity, needing kidney dialysis, etc. But don't say many died from starvation.
Yes, because starvation already existed before the Oct 8th genocide-are you really that dense? Also, why would people be re-selling food at “high prices” if the demand is clearly low considering little starvation? Your own pathetic words betray you. Also, your words came in perfect comedic timing-since the Knesset is now banning UNRWA, which will most definitely exacerbate the starvation crisis in Gaza. But hey-keep one eye closed. I hope it serves you well.

There is no Palestine going back in history which country was conquered by Babylonian during the ancient times, it mentions Israel, when roman invaded the holy land which country mentioned Israel, Palestine never mentioned because Islam without lies will die
No, what he says is that the ethnic cleansing took part in the context of the 1948 War. The Arabs were trying to wipe out the Jews, either kill them or remove them. Israelis were trying to do the same. Well, Israel won. If Palestinians didn't want to be removed, maybe they shouldn't have started that war. They literally were offered a state of their own, but they rejected that because they couldn't accept the existence of a Jewish state. It's laughable to me that one would attack their neighbor but then be surprised that this neighbor would expel them. And remember the Arabs would have done the same if not worse. Furthermore, the majority of the 700,000 had fled as is normal in war. Most were not forcibly expelled

Having fought as an infantryman in the Vietnam War, I know that you don’t conduct insurgencies by dropping 2,000-pound bombs and white phosphorus munitions on masses of civilians. If that is your battlefield doctrine, then it is obvious that your intent is genocidal. When my unit made contact inside villages, we could not call in artillery or air strikes and had to rely on helicopter gunships for precision targeting to avoid civilian deaths. My unit had to do the job the hard way by taking casualties while searching in the hooches, trenches, tunnels, and bunkers to get each enemy combatant with as few collateral deaths as possible. But the IDF’s target is the people.
How can you say such things against the most moral army in the world? I am of course emulating the stupidest views of IDF defenders. There really is no logical explanation other than they simply do not care about dead people. Israelis use so called Hanibal directive. They are allowed to use whatever force they want and kill their own people if necessary. It is not debated in the west but it is public knowledge in other parts of the world. They would rather kill their own people if there is a chance they would be captured. It is completely mental. If they do this to their own people, clearly they do not care what they are doing to their enemies.
@@johnwashington9292 2 million civilians died in Vietnam and the U.S. didn’t achieve its goals at all, committed tons of war crimes, Agent orange and napalm destroyed large swathes of the countryside and cities like Huế were virtually destroyed. Vietnam is one of the worst examples you could use to try to make your point, whether you were there or not.
The invasion of Gaza is not an "insurgency," nor a "counterinsurgency." It's a full-blown war. If you fought in the Vietnam War, you know that intensive bombing was part of that war as well. The US used both white phosphorous bombs and 2,000 lb. bombs in Vietnam, and while estimates of civilian deaths in the war vary, it was probably 1-3 million. That's on the order of the entire population of Gaza, not the 2% of the population that Hamas says has been killed in the current war. You participated in a war that killed on the order of 50x as many civilians as the war in Gaza -- do you accuse yourself and the US of "g-cide?"
@ 19:01 reminded me of the quote by Ghassan Kanafani (1936-1972). “They steal your bread, then give you a crumb of it… Then they demand you to thank them for their generosity… O their audacity!”
There are far more 'Palestinians' today than there were in 1948. The Palestinians managed to label every person born to a Palestinian after 1948 as a Palestinian refugee. Their birth rate has been very high. Also, Hamas/UNWRA don't distinguish between Hamas supporters/fighters killed from the general population.
You can call that a mass slaughter or mass killing, which is what a war is, and there would be an argument. A genocide implies intent, which every fact is against, the population growth, the numbers, the rates, etc. When they quote "in part" in the definition, it is still with intent to destroy all, otherwise every single conflict with casualty would be a genocide, which is ridiculous. The only thing that points to genocide is "genocidal language" by some ministers.
genocide means that one side wants to wipe another side! and let me remind u that before israel entered gaza, the 7.10 happened!!!!!!! israel did not decided to wipe gaza, israel wanted to kill hamas and to free the hostages!!!!!! let me remind u that if israel wanted to wipe gaza, one bomb we have could finish the job! instead, the idf warned the gazans before they attacked!!!!!! many idf soldiers died bcoz they did not bombed large areas in gaza, they entered by themselves! in genocide, u dont let aid to come inside gaza! u people are morrons! read first what genocide means!

Benny admitted that Hamas is not existential threat to Israel because it's tiny organization. Why does then Netanyahu along with his cabinet call Hamas existential threat to Israel?
Israel has never faced an existential threat. In may 1948, Gurion asked the head of Hagannah what are their chances in a war. He said "50-50'. One of the parts that stuck with me most was in the first half, when Morris says the Jewish people being moved into Palestine by the British accepted compromises, but the people already living there weren't, and that somehow makes the people who were already living there unreasonable. As though if someone moves a stranger into your home, and says it is fine because the newcomer only gets *some* of the rooms, you are unreasonable if you don't accept.

That’s the thing. I think the UN made a grave mistake in giving the same vote to Palestinians and Israelis as the rest of the world on resolution where both parties were actually going to live out the consequences. This meant that only one party can agree in spite of the other and the resolution still passes. This in itself is a grave mistake because you can’t force sovereignty on land merely on the basis of such a vote. Not that it would’ve been right to do so without the agreement of both parties, but the UN didn’t have some kind of international military to enforce the resolution either.

I’m an American. The talking point “Arabs are a violent culture” is exactly the same we hear about blacks in the US. They talk about murder and crime and “black on black” crime being out of control in the US, as if that’s evidence of a moral failing of black people. It’s racist because it completely ignores the socioeconomic realities they face as a group. Take away their choices, their livelihoods, overpolice them, tell them they’re being ridiculous when they speak up, portray them as threats on the news, and you get to avoid any responsibility for the consequences of THOSE actions. But it’s all about individual responsibility when they break the law. “Man makes his own history, but he does not make it in conditions of his own choosing.” - Marx The overwhelming majority of people around the are doing the best they can with the options presented to them, options they did not choose for themselves. The system of capitalism, global hegemony, exploitation, and imperialism is warping the options available to people, and forcing them to make decisions that are detrimental to themselves and those around them. So it needs to end.
@@aslan_fields ah yes, and your comment really dives into the substance of what I said and what the video was about. Really engaging and informative. Well done.
@chessenthusiast @lanirassaf All right. Here is something with substance for you. Your comment attempts to paint a broad picture of systemic oppression through a Marxist lens, but it falls into the trap of oversimplification and ideological rigidity. Comparing the struggles of Arabs and Black Americans with the historical materialism of Marxism might sound intellectually appealing, but it ignores the complexity and diversity of human experience. First, the notion that capitalism and imperialism are solely to blame for the hardships faced by certain groups of people is a reductionist view that overlooks the agency of individuals and communities. It’s not just about “the system” forcing people into certain behaviors; there are myriad factors at play, including culture, personal choices, and historical context. Blaming everything on capitalism removes personal responsibility and dismisses the potential for positive change within the existing framework. Moreover, invoking Marx to explain modern social issues is problematic. Marxist theory, while influential, is not a one-size-fits-all explanation for every societal problem. It’s a 19th-century ideology that doesn’t account for the nuances of 21st-century global dynamics. The world has changed dramatically since Marx's time, and clinging to his theories without acknowledging the evolution of economics, politics, and society is intellectually lazy. Finally, your conclusion that capitalism and imperialism must end is not only extreme but also unrealistic. It’s easy to call for the overthrow of systems, but much harder to propose viable alternatives that address the complex needs of billions of people. Revolutions in the name of Marxism have historically led to authoritarian regimes and widespread suffering. Instead of romanticizing revolution, a more constructive approach would be to advocate for reform, dialogue, and practical solutions within the current systems that have the flexibility to adapt and improve. In short, your argument oversimplifies complex issues, relies too heavily on outdated ideology, and offers no realistic path forward. If you truly care about addressing these injustices, you need to move beyond ideological dogma and engage with the world as it is, not as Marx imagined it. On a personal note, I lived half of my life in a country founded on the principles you so cherish. Having this experience, I submit that you would not be so adamant in your beliefs if you had the same.
Morris got away with a lie; 11:00 > when he claimed that the Jews agreed to the Peel Commission's partition plan. The Jabotinsky faction did not agree. Later on, Ben-Gurion managed to convince the dissenters to back his plan. That plan was to accept partition in order to secure a foothold in Palestine, and later take the rest of Palestine by force. That is what they proceeded to do when the next opportunity came, with the implementation of UNGA res. 181 on Nov 29, 1947. For details, look up the article; Peel Commission in Wikipedia. The british took over in 1917 and opened the flood gates for european jewish immigration which increased the share of population from 8% in 1917 to 30% in 1947. @@abdullahx4908 not true at all. The area was divided radically differently prior to World War One when the Turks ruled the area for 500 years. For example there was the province of Beirut which included present day Haifa. There was no overarching name for the region as Palestine outside western sources. The Arabs never called it that, defining themselves by clan and village or simply Arab and Muslim, until modern times, borrowing Palestine and the concept of the nation state from the British and the west who named it that based on older sources that have nothing to do with the Arabs and Islam. For instance the area of the Turkish Empire that was taken over by the British in the east they named the British Mandate for Mesopotamia-also an ancient western term for the region, but not a native one. When the Arabs achieved independence there, they changed it to Iraq. Yet you see no one protesting about how the name was originally Mesopotamia and now there is a fake new country called Iraq, yet this is the same process that happened with Palestine changing to Israel and also with the creation of Jordan as well, the latter also a new country founded by outsiders (the Hashemites) on top of native tribes, also created by the British, with a parallel Balfour-type declaration that gave those lands to these outside foreigners (the Hashemites) to come in and take over.

@d.s.6268 The comparison of Palestine and the United States in a historical context isn't a reflection of ignorance but a consideration of how states and nations evolve over time. The United States wasn't always a fully recognized state; it was originally a set of colonies under British rule. Through war, diplomacy, and international recognition, it became a sovereign nation. Similarly, Palestine has a long and complex history of sovereignty, colonization, and struggle for statehood. Even before modern borders, it was a distinct region with its own identity. The debate today is about recognition and self-determination, much like other regions in history that eventually became independent states. Ignoring these nuances reflects a limited understanding of your geopolitical history. Don't bother stressing on your remaining two brain cells too much.

People started to say there was starvation going on in Gaza less than two weeks after Hamas attacked Israel. I know the Middle East well.
In 67 every US and Israeli intelligence stated they would win the war in 7-10 days.
During the 48 war, the European Jewish Zionist settlers fielded more fighting men than all the Arab armies combined.

“Man makes his own history, but he does not make it in conditions of his own choosing.” - Marx
The overwhelming majority of people around the are doing the best they can with the options presented to them, options they did not choose for themselves. The system of capitalism, global hegemony, exploitation, and imperialism is warping the options available to people, and forcing them to make decisions that are detrimental to themselves and those around them. So it needs to end.
The usual woke rants, evading any sense of agency. Quoting Marx says enough already.
@@aslan_fields ah yes, and your comment really dives into the substance of what I said and what the video was about. Really engaging and informative. Well done.
@chessenthusiast @lanirassaf
All right.

Actually - there were indeed Jewish communities in Ottoman and British mandate Palestine, and in the decades leading up to 1948, Jews did in fact purchase and develope large areas of land in Palestine, so it's not so simple to just say "It wasn't their land". If you buy land, then it is your land.
Jews were 2-3% of the population in 1889 and went up to 8% in 1917 due to immigration from european zionists.
The british took over in 1917 and opened the flood gates for european jewish immigration which increased the share of population from 8% in 1917 to 30% in 1947.

Jordan ethnic cleansed Jewish communities from the West Bank in 1948 when Jordan occupied and annexed Judea and Samaria and renamed it the West Bank.
Unfortunately it’s fine then. Also when hindus were ethnically cleansed from Kashmir.. then human rights and violations don’t matter because it doesn’t fit the narrative of the masses with a motive.
What proves this point is how the world kept silent and no muslim cared when hindus were cleansed from their own land but in recent times when an article was bought about which gives equal rights to Hindus to buy property and businesses in Kashmir the muslim work was in uproar, mass protests took place, hindus were attacked and the indian embassy in London was vandalised!
Clearly it shows hindus don’t reserve equal rights on their own lands.
