@@velyund1546 It does seem to be tempting to start this pastime, doesn't it? Bob makes it look so easy, but it it's not. For example, he knows exactly what the result is buy mixing two different color paints. For eg, equal amounts of blue + yellow = green.

I like to think Bob is in a peaceful valley with his pet birds and squirrels painting happy little masterpieces.

I'm just discovering Bob and am thoroughly enjoying watching as he brings majestic mountains to life happily and effortlessly. I hope his afterlife is as wonderful as you imagine it to be.
I don't believe in any life after death, but this makes me want afterlife to exist.
good to imagine that, sad it's unlikely. The universe has erased him and will erase us completely. However, we still have just minimal hope, that death is not the end. Very unlikely, but maybe.... not. The biggest problem with faith and any god is that when we think the world was created by someone or something then it pushes us in another blind alley, as who created the creator ? It's much more logic, that the universe has been existed always. Even if we see some sort of circumstantial evidence of the beginning, it can by just a cycle, or a world in other bigger, but stable one. The universe with its rules creating worlds and sometimes life. Sometimes it's beautiful, sometimes cruel...and that we born in huge lottery , where the chances for that were less than 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% That is real "magic". Don't waste the chance, live.... as you know how will be (for 99.99999999999999%) after death... same as before you born.

Bob Ross was a gift from God to humanity. He lives on in the virtual world & I for one still love wtaching him working his magic on canvas. Any imitation of Bob doesn't work because you can't imitate Bob. It is the man himself that is so attractive to his followers.

If he were alive today, I think the whole world would have been so much happier and brighter. My mom told me that the day he passed that she made a painting of him to honor his work and sweetness! Truly, I think we would have had a lot more things to be able to experience during Covid while staying home if he was able to make more paintings and enjoyed more time with animals like during this video. He was so sweet and innocent and even if the squirrel would nibble his finger he wouldn’t even react he would just let the squirrel have a good time! 🥰
I've had really bad insomnia for ages but now I use his voice to lull me to sleep and It helps a lot ^_^

yes it looks like he was a good man. However from the perspective of his ex-wife maybe not enough good as he left her for the other woman, but here emotional inteligence comes in. Many times we are not able to guarantee that won't fall in love with other person. It just how brain chemistry works we can't control it. Concluding, when such scenario happens it doesn't mean a man is not good a good one. It's just a unpredictable life. The beauty and cruelty of life.
@Corleone007 - As a man I can certainly tell you that a man CAN and should keep himself from "falling" in love with another woman. You simply don't put yourself in that position. You don't flirt, you don't eat with them alone, you certainly don't spend much time with them alone ever. That means if you have to go to your boss and ask to be moved, then you do.
Don't ever let yourself think that we don't control ourselves OR are not accountable for every one of our actions. We certainly are. There is a book that helped me control my eyes. "Every Man's Battle". Every man should read it. Being a man involves diligence. Period. A cheater is not a good man. A liar is not a good man. Breaking your marriage oath before God and your witnesses is horrible.

Makes me sad that someone as pure as him, someone so gentle with no idea of harm, would be taken advantage off by that wicked family who copied right his name and brand, leaving him without usage of his own personal and name. It’s like someone literally owning your identity for market. Makes me sad that he was going through all of that, yet he continued to make art and videos for all of us to enjoy. He is and will always be our Bob Ross.

Bob Ross is the Godfather of ASMR. Also a great painter. Back in the day I used to record his programs on VHS just to relax me.

I'm watching this painting - Season 20, Episode 7 for the first time relaxing on a Friday night February 17, 2023! I'm trying to watch Bob Ross Joy of Painting shows that I've never seen before. I am more partial to Bob Ross's later seasons, but I think all his paintings are good.

Ahhh that good ole fan brush. Also I just love how he always introduces us to all his little animal friends that he’s taking care of. This man valued everything in life and nature, from rocks to the sea to the mountains to the sky…he believed everything was precious and made special in God’s eyes…and the beautiful thing is, he respected all of it, never mistreated it or wasted any of it. He loved to paint it in order to preserve its beauty. He treated nature with care and found the beauty in every single thing. Now that’s a rare thing to find in a person: love and respect for this 🌎 ♥️.
Bless you, Bob, and we miss you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful and wonderful talent with us, even though it wasn’t long enough IMO. But God had other plans for you - hey, you’re probably painting every sunrise and sunset, every rainbow 🌈, every raindrop💧. Whenever I hear the words ‘wholesome’ and ‘love’, I think of Bob Ross. ❤️ 🌲 🎨 🖌 ☀️ ☁️ 🌳 🌙
