Her voice was steady and calm, despite having just witnessed her friends being shot, and narrowly missing being shot herself. Other victims have been criticized for not displaying “typical” behavior post attack. I’m glad they featured a witness and victim who was calm in the face of danger. Some of us go quiet and still when faced with a frightening situation.
I’m like this. I’ve been in a couple of traumatic situations and I’m the type of person that goes completely calm rather than hysterical. I’m not sure why since I’m normally a pretty emotional person.

Agree. When Ambien was sort of new, I was prescribed it for insomnia - but I also had an alcohol issue at that point in my life. So I mixed the two, and yeah - I was BLITZED. Really loaded. But to use that as an excuse for what he did is nothing but cowardess. There is no way on earth mixing those two would induce murder. No possible way. PS..I got help in 2012 and thank God I’ve been clean and sober since. ❤️ This is a horrible case.

They NEED people to remain calm to gather as much relevant information as possible, and as quickly as possible to get the proper people there. Rachel’s phone call and testimony is proof that people react differently when placed in a stressful situation. Her voice was steady and calm, despite having just witnessed her friends being shot, and narrowly missing being shot herself. Other victims have been criticized for not displaying “typical” behavior post attack. I’m glad they featured a witness and victim who was calm in the face of danger. Some of us go quiet and still when faced with a frightening situation.
I’m like this. I’ve been in a couple of traumatic situations and I’m the type of person that goes completely calm rather than hysterical. I’m not sure why since I’m normally a pretty emotional person.

Agree. When Ambien was sort of new, I was prescribed it for insomnia - but I also had an alcohol issue at that point in my life. So I mixed the two, and yeah - I was BLITZED. Really loaded. Because it is their job to keep the caller on the line. There are times when the caller cannot speak and keeping the line open helps to locate distressed and endangered parties.

Ladies. Please don't ever let a man talk down to you or make you feel unsafe. That is the end of the relationship. I met a man when I was 57 and he was very charming and nice. He turned into an abusive nightmare and I nearly lost my life. Nothing is worth losing your life, especially a man. Watch for the signs. My first missed sign was when he called his son and said that we had been together for two weeks and hadn't any disagreements. I should have eased out right then. I knew but didn't pay attention. It turned out badly but I am still here and he is in prison .
