All the negative comments about Ashley blows my mind. How is Chad and Erica better parents when they turned to murder because they “snapped”? That doesn’t justify murder. I mean didn’t you see the cruelty? There’s no way the judge would have given Ashley custody if there wasn’t any solid proof. Erica turned out to be abusive. I’m sure they did things to keep Ashley from being in the child’s life.

If she didn't care for her kid, why would she want the child back? Chad may have had something in his past, like an arrest maybe? It would be highly unusual for her to get custody if this was a stable loving household, with a biomom, who was some awful person, who get the child. The mom and Chad's attorney are the only ones saying terrible things about Ashley.

Why is everyone blaming the judge who gave her custody? This man beat her mother to death. Who tf thinks this is the type of person who should be raising a child? Add to it he left her with someone who was abusing her. He had the power to stop it, but didn't. This man should have never had custody of this child. She would have been better off with her mother. Now she has no parents and life long trauma. We don't know what information was given to make that decision. But it was the right choice.

There was a joint arrangement and Chad refused to ever follow it because Ashley didn’t want to be with him. Ashley struggle to find a job. That’s why she went to the military.
