  • Hey guys! I wanted to give you a break down of my school tuition fees for the FIRST year of the Primary Healthcare NP program in Ontario Canada. It includes the fall, winter and spring/summer semesters. These fees are reflective of a full-time CANADIAN student. I don't know what the fees are for international students. The dollars mentioned are in Canadian currency (CAD). These fees are also reduced because most classes were online and we were not able to be on campus. The university reduced some of our fees like sports and student services as we were not able to access it physically. I hope this helps future NP students wishing to go into the PHC-NP program 😊

    WHO AM I
I'm Tania, a nurse practitioner student living and going to school in Ontario Canada. I've been a registered nurse for 7 years. I made this channel because I found that there was a lack of content relating to Canadian NP students on UA-cam so I decided to create this channel not only to document my journey through school but also to provide some helpful information to aspiring NP students 😊

NP programs are expensive, but worthwhile more than going to Medical school

Hey Can you talk about what requirements you had which allowed you to get successful admission in Ontario?

Hi! I'm currently holding 2 casual positions at 2 different hospitals so I decide when I want to work. Becoming an NP has been a dream of mine since a few years ago so I started planning about 2 years before I applied. I started saving money at least 1 year before starting the NP program so I wouldn't have to work full time or even part time. I don't have kids and I have tenants to help with the mortgage. I am living with my mom so that helps me a lot with rent (and food lol). Everyone has different situations and some people have to work. If students have a family and need to work, I find most of them are in the part time program which allows them to work while going to school. Hope this answers your question 🙂
