- Here are the questions and answers that I submitted for my NP application. I have gotten a lot of requests for it, and I finally made a video! It's a long video but hopefully you get some useful tips from it 😊📚. I had to submit 2 sets of essay questions for my application. 3 answers for the "letter of intent/narrative statements" and 4 answers for the "essay" questions.

WHO AM I
I'm Tania, a nurse practitioner student living and going to school in Ontario Canada. I've been a registered nurse for 7 years. I made this channel because I found that there was a lack of content relating to Canadian NP students on UA-cam so I decided to create this channel not only to document my journey through school but also to provide some helpful information to aspiring NP students 😊

Congrats on your new position !!!
Thank you 🤗
Thank you for this ! Can you make a video on yoiur experience in the NP program, tips to consider for those thinking about doing the program. Thank you!
Yes for sure!! I was thinking of doing one now that I'm done 😃. Any specific questions you'd like me to answer ?
@@npstudentchronicles3652 thank you for replying. I would say, how often did you study, what was your daily schedule like? Did you find that the notes you took (condensed) had the right info to pass your exams and to really understand the material?
Would you have done a 100% online degree, why or why not? thank you! =)
@@PursuitwithE awesome!! Will answer these questions on my next video 🙂
Congratulations🎉🎉🎉
Thank you 😊
Excellent
Very helpful video, thank you for sharing! Do you know if this NP exam is also good for the States?
Hi! If you're talking about the NP licensing exam, the American one is valid in Ontario and the States. Hopefully that answers your question 🙂
Thank you
I am applying next year for NP. My question is for you use scholarly references in your letter of intent? The schools ask for APA format and was curious about this.
I personally didn't reference any journal articles in my essay but if the university is asking you for references then you should use them. My only question would be if you can include a reference page as part of your essay. This would be a question you could ask the admission office. The answers I gave in my video is exactly what I put in my application. I didn't have a reference page. I hope this helps ☺️
Congratulations 🥳
I watch all your videos and so happy for you.
I am thinking to apply for NP program at Athabasca university. Do you have any information regarding this course .
Thank you
Hi! Thank you so much for following my journey! I'm so glad to be done haha. The only thing I know about Athabasca is that they don't follow the structure of the rest of the universities. I've heard that each topic is divided by month. For example, you will cover everything there is to know about cardiology in one month. Tbh I prefer this format. The way I did it was all over the place lol. It makes sense to keep everything together. The other thing I know is that you have to find your own clinical placements. It's not as hard as I thought based on what I've heard from other students who went through Athebasca. I've heard good things about Athebasca and I wish I would have applied there myself had I known. I hope this helps and thank you again for watching!☺
Thank you so much for making this channel and posting NP related content. You are truly an inspiration to me.
Wish you all the success and happiness 💕
