That Egil Johansen album with Terje and various other artists sounds fantastic. Great to see you Chris. How the heck did these videos get away from me? I added them to my watch later bin and they were gone. I was including you in the comments of a longtime VC member Logan's new video about private presses. Which made me realize that I had not seen you posting in a while. I then remembered putting the two Stunty videos in my watch later bins. But they were gone? Long boring story I know. {smile} Wow. You showed a slew of unfamiliar records which is my favorite records to see in your videos. You were one of the three people who got me out of the fusion genre and into everything else jazz related. Free jazz is far more interesting to me know. But I got to thank you for that too. You were the one who told me about Cecil's 'Unit Structures' which completely blew me away. Thanks Chris. So cool to spend some time with you on this rainy and supposed snow day~

Hi Chris. Thanks for the shout-out. Right from the Science Fiction you had me; I dig that sleeve and description of the Maggot Brain style guitar (great atmosphere) has me more then a little intrigued. I don't no how you find a record/artist as cool as Helmut W. Erdmann. But I listened to the track on Discog and it's completely unique. Much darker and foreboding than I had imagined. And really good. Great video response to the Stunty Vinyl Tag. Cheers! Shawn

Hey shawn..my pleasure brother as I enjoyed your response as well.
Oh you would love science fiction no doubt!
The campbell as well would be something in your zone I think.
But you are pretty open so just about anything in the video would probably be at least worth hearing for you imo.
I got the same vibe from the erdmann why I sought it out and glad I did..happy to share it for others interested and glad you found something here worth your time..much love chris

Hi Chris, great to see you and some of your new additions through Stuntys tag. That Almuro is really powerfull and spooky, amazing cover art also, i think you are right that its as good as anything. There seems to be live video of Erdmann performance that I have to listen to sometime. Kent Schneider record doesnt look like it is not even in discogs, the cover looks like he could have been popular, at least in his own country, lol. Happy new year, -petri.

The story of Almuro is very interesting and elusive. He might have had the very first private electronic music studio, and the GRM snatched Parmegiani from him, as Parmé was his own sound engineer. There are rumors of pederasty regarding him, explaining why he did not get invted to the GRM. But nothing absolutely confirmed.

Hey petri..hope you and your family is well brother..
Ya that almuro is definitely spooky why I like it so much..😂.
Huh not sure I saw that live video of erdmann interesting the lp itself is great and recommended.
Lol the schneider is definitely of it's time very 70's but very good for the style and fun listen was glad to see it again after many years.
You would probably like most of the lp's in this video.
That vietnam lyrichord one is a great one and of course highly recommended..happy new year to you too brother..much love chris.

@@johncoltrane68 Yes I would enjoy that Vietnamese record, I think I have nothing from the country, I saw once one but "mouse" had eaten a lot of a cover edges.

Brother Chris! Such a pleasant surprise...though maybe not so much a surprise you'd respond to this.... 🙂Well of course you had me with the BGM and first album shown...and naturally most intrigued by the hardest to find albums...Voice in the Wilderness and Tuesday Wednesday...how cool too, lesser known Terje appearance! Thanks as always. Hope you and yours are hanging in as much as possible. Mucho love. -Carm

Chris, white and green do go well with each other, like peanut butter and chocolate. I got a laugh from the Cathy Berberian remark, by the way, Steely Dan also drop her name in one of their songs. Another great video from you, using a vinyl tag as an ''excuse'' for showing some obscure gems that really deserve a ''second life''. Thanks

Yes it will be a centralized focus this year if I can.
I never shared the erdmann..maybe your thinking of carl erdmann bizzarophytes lp perhaps..this erdmann might be your thing..😀..nice ya that campbell as you saw was very cheap and definitely in your wheelhouse or I think so..let me know your impressions when you get it..

I remember you forgot you had that..😂..Indeed imo a bit ahead of it's time too bad they did not make anymore music I am aware of.
I knew you would have background on almuro the seller who had it usually does not deal in those kinda lp's why it was so cheap I think he was just happy to move it..😂.
But had been on my wl for years so it was gratifying..plus as you know already a great lp.
I have kinda of explored his other work a bit but good to know almost everything he did is worthwhile..hope you enjoyed my response brother was fun to do..much love chris

very lovely video man... l had a feeling something was coming :) and l've been waiting to be able to watch this in peace...
none of these tags move me to partake, not even the blues tag which is a topic l can always talk about....
l'm gonna have to go back and take note of some of these especially the painful eddie hazel-esque guitar... nothing better than feeling the pain in a song...
how do you dig around on discogs?!? l don't buy too much newer composers mainly because l'm unaware, so l'll keep an eye out for that modern thang you show, an unforgettable cover....
there's a Gabor Szabo on Four leaf that l always look for but never see it, now l want the one with Rypdal....
all the best to you and your loved ones,,, hope to see you again soon.... peace, sherv
and the album playing sounds as if from the stars

Hey there brother..ya been too long since we connected..been a rough couple of month here with illness and such so peace has been hard to find for me but lately I have been able to carve out a little too make this video.
Understand about the tags..I figured it gave me a framework in which to make a video and the questions were interesting enough.
Me too I like real emotion in the music..just look for science fiction city of God and give a listen see what you think...personally I love it.
The campbell is excellent and very cheap alex grabbed one..in terms of modern stuff I still think your ahead of me there at least with some jazz and heavier stuff..lol.
I think I know gabor it could be one I am looking for myself I will have to check.
Ya you would like the egil lp no doubt..again not expensive.
Thanks for the good vibes always brother and wish the same for you.
I will try to do more videos this year as I have plenty left to talk about and show many obviously in your wheelhouse 😀...always great to hear from you and Alex tells me you got some great stuff friday..look forward to you sharing your thoughts on it possiably and I hope you dig the emerald forest lp ❤️..much love chris

Glad Angry Mom had the goods for you and I am working on another pile to send your way of some requests and some other surprises. Almuro, what a beautiful sleeve. Figures Stunty would know it. That Mark Carmody I had already taken note on and it looks like you may have sold a copy to someone. Copy sold on Jan 5, 2024. I know I dug it when I streamed it so perhaps the next copy I'll snag. Always well thought out my friend with plenty to discover.
