I agree with what you're saying about processing new records. I try to get at least 2 plays at home (plus in the store perhaps) before filing. I want to get to showing things I'm listening to more than just showing new stuff as Sherv and Fred have been saying. Trying to get there. That opus one comp looks very compelling, as does the Sermon / Krog LP on ECM. Man that Italian LP is pretty wild. I will attest to the magic of the Takada record myself. It unfolds so beautifully. great to see you once again my friend.

I love surman in general and winters is one of his best and a great ecm imo..well worth a seek out! Glad you dug the le groupe x lp..very interesting and diverse lp..too bad the dude only made two lp's.. Oh yes the takada is the definition of that word 💖. That backround music is weird because it actually does not sound anything I have heard from Italy from 70s. But interesting. One obscure record dedicated to some sculptor, band Nascita Della Sfera maybe sounds a bit similar and it has same release year too. That Nino Rota soundtrack you showed on earlier video is amazing, just found your channel, glad I did.

No surprise there brother!..as with most of those kinda of lp's rescued from the dollar bin..which has been the case for me for many years especially in the states. Did not know about the fariuz reissue program nice..😀. I can't remember if we spoke of this one before but do you have munir bechir and his quartet babylon mood?..that one is a big favorite ❤. @@johncoltrane68 Cheers, Chris. I do have Babylon Mood, even two copies. First bought it some 20 years ago at a jazz shop in Paris, for 5€, than in Japan for not much more. I always loved when the flute comes in on side 1, so eerie! Reminds me of what i like about Muslimgauze. Funny you asked today, though, as I just got another Bashir LP yesterday, my third one. It sounds exactly the same, but solo. It's good, but with less contrast, unfortunately. I heard he was very conservative, and that Babylon Mood was an exception in his career.

The Touareg and Lutes records are both fantastic indeed. I just got the reissue of the Takada. Transcendent music. Keep the recent spins coming Chris. Was definitely great to see Sherv back. Peace.

Hello Chris. I noticed that this was a continuing video from your last video. Which means that I did not see the last video. How did it get by me? My error. I will watch it this week sometime. I am sure that there will be quite a few albums that will inspire and educate my ears as always. "Colonna Sonora Originale Del Film" just means soundtrack from the film does it not? I like the background music. Did you say that it is La Groupe Ex? I checked out some of the Uludag album. As soon as you mentioned Henry Cow I had to check it out. It sounds cool. The Rob Carroll may be promising too. Never saw that Stan Getz. Ultimate listens Chris. I told you that I was going to get inspired and educated. Fred has been posting some killer recent listen videos too. I am sure that you checked them out already. I am looking forward to the first part of this. How have you been doing? The endless summer is sadly coming to a close soon. Although this summer has not been a good one. Lots of rain, humidity and clouds. Hopefully the fall weather will be better. I love that belly dance LP. On an adjacent side, there’s currently a Fairuz reissue program that is pretty darn fantastic!
