It's great to see you back, coach! Best of luck in your training!✋✊
Thank you! Appreciate the support 💪
It is just a matter of time bro, soon you will do doubles with it. The wall behind you is awesome 👌💪
Thanks bro! Your opinion matters to me.. Yeah haha that wall is getting full.. Again... 🧐
@@terryconjugateiron that gripper collection is nice brother.
@@TheGripMuse hey man thanks! How did I miss that comment? 😑
Well done, nice collection of hand grippers 👍
Thank you! Appreciate the support
Nice video coach. Love gripper comparisons and strength tool talk. Blessings💪💪. I'm working to conquer the 3.0,3.5 and might Gd90 at lvl 5 and 6. I know you will crush the 2.5 my brother. Just give those hands rest between attempts as no rush. Awesome attempts!
Thanks for supporting! I closed it a few days later. Now I'm doing sets with it and recently closed it with the left hand as well 💪
Cool started closing the 2.5 with my right and near close with my left. Want to get stronger on it for reps with both hands and when I close the 3.0 and 3.5 that 2.5 should become very light to close. Also using the gd 90 to bridge those last inches and I want to eventually close that dual spring monster at level 6. Have you tried the GD90 my brother?
Also when you get a chance definitely checkout my videos coach. Blessings and glad you crushed it.
@@shel0016 believe me the transition between the 2.5 and the 3 is big! It's taking me the whole year lol.... Credit card sets with the 2 might help you a lot as well. I'll definitely check your content out later today man!
@@terryconjugateiron I just got the heavy grips 350 with an rgc of 172 to help bridge gaps and put up some Thor hammer like strongman kungfu isometrics moves. Be sure to check em out too terry. And dont listen to any naysayers. No limits!🗡🗡💪💪🥊🥊
@@terryconjugateiron hi I'm looking for advice my age 70yr old don't know which one for me to get I have the cheep plastic ones the adjustable ones but the springs keeps breaking how do I know which one to get I do bare knuckles planks on a wooden floor and punch the heavy bag bare knuckles looking for advice?
Always rem my first 2.5 Took me a year and change to Close it. Now I'm trying to be able to tns easily as my 1.5 and 2.0 with the cpw bumper. 2.5 and 3.0 definitely elite status
. Goal grippers now are monster Very close to a Tns Close on my filed Coc 3.0 Tns(Rgc 157) close and a stronger than 3.5 ghp8(Rgc 179) Got this sucker beyond parallel Terry.
Always Love this gripper medly of yours my brother. Lets get it!😎🥊🥊💯
What goal grippers is everyone working on.
#179 RGC is no joke! I closed the 2.5 withing 5 days after it arrived, didn't seem to feel too hard. That #3 though... Is taking nearly 2 years and I still haven't managed it haha 💪
I finally closed my 2.5 gripper. I’m 17 too. Great video
Good job! That's great especially at your age. That video is old af lol appreciate it 🤝
I'm up to 240lbs on the 2.5 CoC as well, it's pretty intense. I found doing static holds for 60seconds+ using the 3.0 CoC 280lb gripper makes the 2.5 much easier
Are you using a setting block to do the static holds? Closing a #3 for 60 seconds is really good. I've never tried with my 3
I know the feeling of waiting for a gripper all too well.
Yeah dude and my arm was much better in December. January has been really bad for my tendinitis. Oh well, I'll close it soon I'm sure! What did you think of the attempt?
@@terryconjugateiron looked good, you'll close it soon for sure
@@InspectorHaines you'll most definitely be notified haha thanks bro
An official COC close now requires a credit card to be placed between the handles and closed one handed from that point. There's enough extra room to set the gripper with both hands but after it's set the card must fit width-wise between the handles to get certification on each level of gripper.
Hasn't it been like that for years?
@@terryconjugateiron just saw your other video cloising the 2.5 with the card. Just discovered your channel.
@@jamesnm21 welcome! I hope you'll like the content 💪
I just bought the COC 2.5 and realized I jumped into the deep end of the pool! It's my first gripper...
It's best for you to start with a gripper you can comfortably close and work with sets and reps. Cause you need to work on technique, especially if you're new. I closed it 4 days after I got it but I've been lifting for 14 years so I was pretty confident I could close it. Hope this helps 🤝
Top gym you've got mate 👍 no mirrors and rough metal free weights just like it should be 💪
Hi! The gym in the intro clip is in Iceland, owned by legend Magnús Vér Magnússon. I moved out in 2019. I train at a commercial gym and everyone's staring now lol... Appreciate the comment 🙏
It took me 1 year to close the last 3 mm of a #2.5 ....
I mean 1 year from closing it at 3mm to closing in completely.
As much as I love grippers they're the hardest grip tools for me. I closed the 2.5 around 5 days after this video but the damn 3 is taking me well over a year. Everytime I crank up the training with grippers my right forearm gives me problems. Can't have that while competing in powerlifting. So it forced me to slow down
Your videos are all amazing
Thank you very much I try to be informative while I'm using the equipment. That's what I like to see when I watch stuff on UA-cam
Did you get forearm issues from grip training? If so, what are the issues?
I did get pain in my brachioradialis in the right arm. I couldn't straighten my arm and close my fist. Had to slow down a lot with my grip training. But I'm certain that powerlifting and intense grip sessions don't mix very well. Especially squats etc. Cause they tend to cause elbow and bicep tendinitis.
@@terryconjugateiron Thanks for info. I've been plagued with tennis and golfer's elbow and wrist issues for years; perhaps I'll just do grip work twice a week and leave it at that.
@@turntablesrockmyworld9315 what can really help you is seated pronation/supination with a light band or mini band. Put some blood in the tendons cause that's usually where it starts. And maybe grab a set of those little finger bands for extensions. That helped me a lot too. I was doing a few sets per day in each hand for 2 months or so. In the car at work etc. There's some more stuff like forearm flexion and extension with basic gym gear etc. If you can find some of the shorts I've put up you'll see those as well. Happy to help!
@@terryconjugateiron Thanks for info! I use physio bands and have the finger bands, and do reverse curls. Perhaps I'll take your suggestion and leave them in the car as I as I am on the road a lot!
@@turntablesrockmyworld9315 anytime! I'll be happy if you get anything out of this conversation that helps you.
Have you considered getting your grippers rated by someone like Cannon PowerWorks?
Yes i do have a few rated by Cannon and some by my sponsor Armlifting Greece. It's very important if you want to take it to the next level.
@@terryconjugateiron Can you share what those are for the grippers you demonstrated?
@@ritparent7239 This video is 2.5 years old and I have around 70 grippers right now. I need to find the time to do a grip collection video and I'll be glad to show which grippers are rated etc
Same as me lol but hey few weeks we will have it also trying do it and film it is more difficult think focused not doing vidio for viewers defo get it with right hand good luck
Agreed! Filming while attempting it isn't the same as without the camera. I closed it a few days after I shot this video though lol. I'm very close to the #3 now 💪
Is HG 250 lighter than Cc2.5 but heavier than Cc2.0?
Based on statistics, a Heavy Grips 250 falls right in the middle between a CoC2 and a CoC2.5 so I'd rate them as:
1. CoC 2
2. Heavy Grips 250
3. CoC 2.5
Check this link out, it wlll help a lot. The resistance is in pounds (lbs)

Ωχ..... Κι εγώ ξένος νόμιζα ότι είσαι 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ χαχα
Is the heavy grips 350 harder than the captains of crush 3.5?
They're very similar. It always depends though. You can have five different CoC #3.5 and all of them will have small differences in resistance.
На превью подумал это Семен Слепаков))
I'm sorry, I can't translate your comment
👍👍💪
💪🙏
I swear my 2.5 is harder than my #3 😂 good stuff brother hope your training is going well 👍💪
It's rare but it can happen lol... If you have a high rated 2.5 it can actually be a little harder to close than a low rated 3. I actually do own a low rated 3 but my 2.5 is just of average resistance so there is a noticeable difference among them.
Надо бы смазать)
Indeed! I fixed it thanks 💪
How i install a wood Board on the wall, Whats the best Option. I want to make a collection like you bro
I just used 4 screws on each board and drilled them, can't remember what size they were to be honest. Both boards are full now so I made a caddy earlier this year 💪
That’s a lot of grippers do you recommend to have that many
I think I got 70 now, that's an old clip. I really like them that's why I collect them. It certainly isn't necessary to own that many. Plus a few of them are sponsorships, didn't pay for them. You can get an adjustable if you don't want to have a lot, they work great as well
Is the heavy grips 350 harder than the captains of crush 3?
I think most unrated 350lbs grippers will be tougher to close than the average CoC3
@@terryconjugateironwhat about coc 3 vs hg 300
@@rameshwarsingh168 most of my 300 grippers (Heavy Grips included) are very similar to the Coc3. I've closed a few of them and was about 2mm from closing my Coc3
