Grippers and strongman enthusiast here. Love the video. Brothers and sisters in strength grippers are a must in strength and health, punchint power and so much more.🔥💪💪. I love the cocs, ghp, heavy grip 350 and Iron grip GD90
It was my Master, Silvio Simac, who got me training with CoC grips after I watched a video of him closing the number 2.5.
I also heard that 9/10 Black Belts couldn't close the number 1 so I was determined to do that. I'm now on the number 2!
How is he nowadays, I lost contact with him
The 1 is already pretty tough if you don’t have much training experience 😀
Yes, the majority of untrained men fail to close it!
@Patric J I bought the 2 and closed it and I'm 18 6'4 185 and don't work out wtf
@@johncena-lj6ze Big giant meat hands on your giant monster 6'4" frame give you an advantage with closing.
Fr I ordered the 1, 1.5 and the 2. I go to the gym regularly but even the 1 was difficult out of package lol. Was able to close it but doing it multiple times wasn’t easy. 3 months later and I can almost close the 2 now. Literally a millimeter away.
I can't wait to get mine tomorrow, I aim to complete all of them but I am expecting to be humbled very fast :D I ordered a 1.5 straight away, so let's see.
How did it go!?
@@GarageGymGainz I wasn’t able to close it all the way, on both arms I have about 3-5 centimeters left and I can rep that distance a few times! About what I expected, I will definitely get the easier ones to train properly
@@eceipretsam4735 maybe do the 1 first?
i got a cheap plastic 20kg to 40kg to train, you should get small ones to train
Kick ass man, you for this. Currently training to close #3 myself
The rapid motion may risk R.S.I ( repetitive strain injuries) go for the slow and holding.
Just got no1 and no2 one seems a little tough but your saying just grip and hold and not to try keep closing it?
@@mrwoody6634 exactly
HG 250 is between Cc 2 and Cc 2.5 so it bridges up to 2.5 as it is a big jump between 2 and 2.5 Cc gripper.
I have the .5 and it’s a good one to start on
just bought a number 2. RIP you look more built than me so I don't think I'm gonna be able to close this one.
You’ll build up to it faster than you think!
@@GarageGymGainz Do you think I should order a 1.5 or should i just keep trying to close it?
Doesn't matter, I'm leaner than him but close a no.2
Just keep working on. You will get there
COC crushers will add grip strength but you will not notice a significant change in your forearm size.
I haven't used them a ton - how do you like them?
My forearms are pretty big from grip training
You get the 2.5 yet? Moved on to 3? I am working on 2.5 to close but 3 feels light years harder than the 2.5
Here’s a little context on the numbers and where you might be if you’re a small but strong boi like me.
I was at D1 wrestler, currently 29 years old 150-155lbs. I was definitely a technician with my style and not the strongest guy in the world, but definitely stronger than a good 98% of men my size. I’m not trying to toot my own horn, but maybe this will help someone. I had great strength and I knew how to use it.
I ended up getting the trainer (because it says strong guys start here), the .5 and the 1. I wanted to track my progress against the baseline so I’ve only been training my left hand. The trainer was just right to get hard reps in in the beginning. I honestly wish I would’ve gone with the sport too in order to get more reps in the beginning and ” grease the groove”
It seems like the magic number is 10 reps before you can close the next gripper once.
If you want to be a strong guy, start with the sport. I’m like the weakest little boy, strong guy there is, and the trainer was right at my pinnacle.
After a month, I closed the 1 with my left hand. Even though I have made measurable progress, I still wish I had the sport.
The 3 is what I recently bought for bjj
I'm impressed. You might be the first person ever to not order 3 levels of CoC higher than you can do by hubris. Closing a #2 is impressive, I'd think that's 1 in 1000 men.
What number are you on in 2024? Enjoyed the video 💪🏻
i can close the 2 with both hands and the number 2.5 i was about a pencil tip away from closing it
Dang, you're going to get it soon!!
It’s harder with both hands so that doesn’t even make sense😂😂
@@illusorytrutheffect left hand and right hand i mean by both hands i can close the 2.0
That bit of flexing at the end was funny.
Haha glad you stuck around for it!
I started with these 2 weeks ago. My friend had a 0.5 and only him and me was able to close it in my class in uni. For me it was very easy so i had to get these. RIght now i'm a few milimeters away from the 2. They sure rip up your fingers though
Chalk my friend.😎⚡
Let me guess, you live in Canada as a serf, and you have never worked a physically demanding labor job in your life.
@@PD-we8vf If i never had a demanding labor job in my life i wouldn't be able to close a 1.5 on my first try.
@@bilbobaggins138 got ‘em
Easy on the 2'.do you also achieve that with a new one just out of the package?lol
will this also increase the size of your wrists if you have skinny forearms?
It probably would! A little forearm hypertrophy
Not really. Put stress on your wrist to grow it
No, best way to thicken wrists a bit is dead hangs. Believe me.
What’s your favorite one ? I just got the trainer one.
Honestly, probably the trainer!
@@GarageGymGainz Fsho Maine!
Do you naturally have bigger forearms or you grew yours my biceps are huge my only problem has been my forearms
I'd say most of it is probably from pullups, and training without straps
Instead of having all these grippers to deal with, why not just buy an adjustable (1) gripper?
Most adjustable ones aren't accurate, and don't really come strong enough.
Yep I'm not training my hands or forearms 😂😂😂😂
can i train hand gripper for everyday?
Very cool.
Hey thanks!
Useful 👍
I like your shirt where did you get it
Hey thanks! It’s one of the shirts we sell at the gyms I run. We’re out of stock right now, but hopefully getting more soon
Why you skip the 0.5 ?
It wasn't in the bundle I bought for some reason!
Good video good grip
Thanks!
do you recommend rock tape talons gloves while training with these grippers? Cause I have marks on my hands and they hands become very dry...
I haven’t ever tried training in gloves - sorry!
@@GarageGymGainz Im sure anyone who has been training with grippers know that they leave marks and calluses? No one has been thinking to prevent these marks thats almost destroys the look of the hand?
@@carminefriendly3703 I’m sure there’s somewhere out there that might have some insight. Maybe they’ll chime in!
I been training for the last 7 months daily with this grippers, also I do pull ups and work painting. I don't need gloves because my hand never feel pain after using them.
Im not talking about pain Im talking about the shape of the skin on your hand, the palm, it gets lines and awful strike lines on the hand, which what i hear can ne avoid by using gloves.
Do you have fat grips?
I don't actually!
nice grippers
Nobody wants small forearms!
That'd be the worst!
I agree. Still it's impressive with some guys having pretty small forearms and still close Nr3!
I have small forearms
