I don’t like it when you don’t have any social media except UA-cam and people make you feel as though you’re missing out on something. This might sound selfish but I really don’t care how strangers are living there lives. As long as your doing your best and not hurting anybody that’s really all I care about
I hate it when after someone asks if you're on social media and you reply that you're not, then they get some-what defensive and say things like, "Oh, I'm not on there that much," or "I just use it to keep up family." Uh, all I said was no. Wtw??

I've gotten into mild back and forth with other commentators and fazed out because I've realized we were trying to change each other's mind and it's ok to have different opinions.

I hate the 'sorry for your lost' comments that appear whenever someone passes. It's loss, not lost!!! I don't correct them but somebody pass the message on.
I ABSOLUTELY despise when people who have done "acts of kindness" such as feeding the homeless, helping gruh-muh across the street etc and post pictures or make statuses about it.....like was the motive genuine or merely for the "likes"....#uugggghhhhh!!

It’s the people that that put everything that happens in their lives on social media and then get mad when everyone has something about it that gets me the most. My question is what do you expect? You’re putting this information out for everyone to see and anyone that’s your friend on social media is going to see it. Also, everyone is entitled to their own opinions so if you don’t want everyone saying something about what you have going on in your life then keep it private. It’s not hard to do.

You know, I used to think the same thing about people announcing their departure. I didn't think *that* deeply about it, just a passing, "Why did that need to be announced? Just leave." Then, 7 years ago, I just left. Since then, people I only went to school with for 4 years, who weren't or barely were my acquaintances have been throwing differing versions of "Ya girl deleted/blocked me!". One girl even created an ENTIRE narrative of how, when, and why I deleted/blocked her-- "we got into it". We didn't, but she tried her best to convince *ME* , otherwise...after spreading that false narrative around for years! Whew! Social media has completely altered some people's reality! It's...disturbing, beyond belief! 🤦🏽♀️

Finding out my photos were being used in Russia and Photoshopped 3. People who were friends of “friends” asking me for buddy passes 4. Getting POKED 5. Discouraging direct messages from past associates while I was trying to get myself together spiritually 6. People who got upset because I unfriended them because of the vulgar content they were posting on MY page.

My pet peeves are my mother in law tagging me on the most unflattering pictures of myself(if any), my father in law posting mine and my husband’s business when we had a situation with our daughter, my in-laws relative(or so I thought) constantly commenting on everything I post! I don’t post much by the way. If I deleted everyone annoying on Facebook I’d have like 5 friends/family no lie! I often take whole week or month breaks from it just to keep my sanity. I have thought about deleting all of it but I keep it to stay in touch with the family and friends that I can’t see often.
My "favorite" thing on SM is when people post all of their domestic issues in novella and video form and then say people are in their business - trust I am reading the whole soap opera and I'm seeing when the people closest to you say, "hey, take this post down" and us cussed them up and down the street and follow up with a post about how you're blocking all negativity, family or not... and 6 months (or 2 years) Later you either 1. Take him back or 2. Post how you can't believe you were so foolish to air your dirty laundry... but did you apologize, baby? We remember from the beginning! 🤣

People who confronted you after you said you were busy later that day and they saw you on someone's instastory then had THE NERVE to text you and be like "Ummmm you said you were busy but I saw you on X's story hanging out?" You know, I used to think the same thing about people announcing their departure. I didn't think *that* deeply about it, just a passing, "Why did that need to be announced? Just leave." Then, 7 years ago, I just left. Since then, people I only went to school with for 4 years, who weren't or barely were my acquaintances have been throwing differing versions of "Ya girl deleted/blocked me!". One girl even created an ENTIRE narrative of how, when, and why I deleted/blocked her-- "we got into it". We didn't, but she tried her best to convince *ME* , otherwise...after spreading that false narrative around for years! Whew! Social media has completely altered some people's reality! It's...disturbing, beyond belief! 🤦🏽♀️
Before leaving (after 11 years) Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat back in early 2019, my biggest pet peeves were:
1. People using my page for their political arguments
2. Finding out my photos were being used in Russia and Photoshopped
3. People who were friends of “friends” asking me for buddy passes
4. Getting POKED
5. Discouraging direct messages from past associates while I was trying to get myself together spiritually
6. People who got upset because I unfriended them because of the vulgar content they were posting on MY page.

If there is 1 grammar peeve which gets me is using the apostrophe as a plural or vice versa. Eg., family's instead of families. Then there is the youtuber who starts a channel with their significant other then when things run amok they leave me hanging. By then I've been so invested. Or those youtubers who give the negative Nancys a lot more energy than their positive Pollys. Or youtubers who have not evolved their content. UA-camrs who post private, intimate content about their children with no consent

All of this and then some..! My pet peeves are my mother in law tagging me on the most unflattering pictures of myself(if any), my father in law posting mine and my husband’s business when we had a situation with our daughter, my in-laws relative(or so I thought) constantly commenting on everything I post! I don’t post much by the way. If I deleted everyone annoying on Facebook I’d have like 5 friends/family no lie! I often take whole week or month breaks from it just to keep my sanity. I have thought about deleting all of it but I keep it to stay in touch with the family and friends that I can’t see often.
My "favorite" thing on SM is when people post all of their domestic issues in novella and video form and then say people are in their business - trust I am reading the whole soap opera and I'm seeing when the people closest to you say, "hey, take this post down" and us cussed them up and down the street and follow up with a post about how you're blocking all negativity, family or not... and 6 months (or 2 years) Later you either 1. Take him back or 2. Post how you can't believe you were so foolish to air your dirty laundry... but did you apologize, baby? We remember from the beginning! 🤣

Has someone had a similar experience to mine? One of my pet peeves with ig was the amount of people who just blatantly spied on you? People who confronted you after you said you were busy later that day and they saw you on someone's instastory then had THE NERVE to text you and be like "Ummmm you said you were busy but I saw you on X's story hanging out?" Yeah you did, keep moving. I seriously couldn't handle this obnoxious behavior thank god I deleted the app 😂😂 People feel so entitled to your time, it's ridiculous

Literally agree with all of these but the prayer requests really be frustrating me.
