    You are the BEST. Because of your protocol, I reversed lupus in 2021. Also, I recently got an antioxidant hand scan and score an 87 out of 100. My doctor was impressed and said I’m her healthiest patient, but she didn’t know I was disappointed in the 87. I’m now shooting for 100. Although I reversed the lupus, I still find solace and inspiration in watching your videos.

    Hi Brooke. Super interested in your protocol and getting ready to begin. My question is about the flax. I’ve seen where too much, I believe more than a couple tablespoons, can be toxic I guess with some science based evidence. I know that I am extremely deficient in omega 3s and I can’t hardly tolerate fish to the point where I just don’t eat it. I also seem to react negatively to fish oil supplements, which I tried the Nortic brand. What are your thoughts on this. Thank you again for your knowledge and experience.

    I'm a work in progress. I'm still cleaning up my diet, but I still eat a small amounts of VEGAN process food and I want to stop. So I'm here for motivation to keep removing the unhealthy processed vegan foods from my lifestyle. I do feel better than when I ate the SAD diet. The one question I always what an answer to is... Can my PsA be reversed by this lifestyle change? I never hear of anyone mentioning psoriatic arthritis. I do hear about RA, LUPUS and other autoimmune diseases, but never have I read or watch a video of someone overcoming psoriatic arthritis. Does anyone know of any? Thanks for all you do. Monica

    • @kellherman
      @kellherman 2 роки тому +4

      Proteins are chains of amino acids! When you eat a complete protein, like meat, your body has to break it down into amino acids to make it usable. When you eat plants, it’s already broken down and easier for your body to start using right away! So technically…all plants have protein :)

    You genrealize that all animal products are inflammatory disease causing foods with no regards to 1. quality of animal product I would agree that the standard american diet of poor quality process toxic foods is at the center of an inflammatory diet as is consumption of coffee/caffiene which disrupts circadian rhythms and sleep cycle. What if an animal based omnivore diet is actually anti-inflammatory? Plant based foods may be anti-inflammatory not because of what one is eating but because of what one is not eating.

      in my experience fruits have too much sugar,,, lots of good stuff but the dam sugar (best are the berries IN MY experience,,, berries if you dont use a toothpaste fluoride,,, you wont feel your theeth hurting by the sugar,, well its the least damaging fruits there is that i know,,, and after its MAYBe those with the most water,,, (one of the BIGGest reason,, that and the noise that smoothies are hard,, without at least 1 banana its extremely hard to tolerate,, and berries (fruits just like the fkin toxic nuts fats,, have loads of benefits and are by far FAR FAR better then animal products and transformed products,, but its the dam fat and sugar in them,,, fruits today Brian Clement on the real truth about health,, explained how fruits today have about 20 to 50 TIMES MORE FKin sugar then the REAL Fruits in the past,,,, and the fiber content been incredibly reduced for that exchange,,, easier to squease,, more sugar,, more sell$$$
      THOSE ASSHOLES ALWAYS REMOVE THE FIBER (eat ONLY FIbreous food/not transformed foods (animal products are all transformed oils etc,,, id argue even nuts,, since we remove the FIBREOUS SHELL to be able to eat them WE ARE NOT squirrels,,, SO AGAIN we remove THE FKIN FIber,,, i promote the hemp and sesamy over the fkin nuts,, even tho they give me issues also cause of crazy fat,,, well they are being unshelled hemp,, ugh ya true,, but i hear they at least contain fibers in them and are much less damageing than nuts) but i dont think we should argue about those,, small? (34 health issues at least,, well getting used to them helps microbiome deal with it better i guess? or im just still too addicted to know,,, have had issues of needle scalp for a while now avoiding fats entirely except alge flax chia and leafy,, the 4 best omega3 in the world,, witch dont give issues,, well in small quantities ),, details as much when theres so much worse,, and that you can find better alternatives
      still interested by her answer tho (sry didndt want to anoy you, just give information)

      @@fortcastlevgn2368 Wrong, ripe fruits are optimal, all of them have a low to moderate glycemic load (not the useless glycemic index), smoothies and worse juice are the problem, fibers are disrupted and nutrients are more or less oxydized, eat and chew ripe fresh whole fruits with your teeth and saliva carbs digesting enzymes.

      Please watch her other videos when she is actually making the smoothies... she does use fruit, but only 25% or less in the blender with the greens and flaxseeds, which are there just to make it taste good! This is my life... I've been living this way now for nearly 3 years and it's going well, as long as I stay away from inflammatory foods, and that's hard but I end up learning the hard way... please watch more of her videos! Best wishes to you all! ♥️

    Avocadoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, bell pepper, squashes are fruits but high carbs fruits wasnt even mentionned, this is like these dont exist, very weird since humans have a frugivore anatomy as a great primates and they are therefore optimal foods.

    • @stevenscott5814
      @stevenscott5814 3 роки тому +4

      She is not against those foods and had pictures of several of them in her video. However, she emphasizes consuming raw green and cruciferous vegetables which are the most nutrient dense foods, in order to facilitate rapid healing. The most abundant food for primates in the wild is green vegetation and that makes up the majority of their dietary intake as well.

      Nutrients and foods dont heal, only the body heal the body, thats why the healing and detoxifying processes are at the highest lvl when water fasting and resting but obviously we cant fast forever!

    Curious about the foods pictured on 3:05...this diet is supposed to be vegan and crudivore, how in the world one can eat raw potatoes and beans ( like kidney beans, lentils, garbanzo...)?

    • @avalonspawn
      @avalonspawn 2 роки тому

      You are correct... they are not part of the protocol so I am not quite sure why they are pictured there, but she does mention needing to go even more strict at the end which is I believe the point where those are removed until you are healed and move onto maintenance (where you can eat some cooked foods and other things like that as long as it does not make you sick anymore).

    If you're on thyroid meds be careful with cruciferous vegetables

    • @stevenscott5814
      @stevenscott5814 3 роки тому +4

      It is true that cruciferous vegetables can inhibit the uptake of iodine by the thyroid gland leading to low thyroid function and an enlarged thyroid (goiter). However, this only occurs in the presence of iodine deficiency. Because of the tremendous health benefits derived from consuming cruciferous vegetables, continue to eat them but make sure that your iodine intake is sufficient. An easy way to do that is by consuming sea vegetables such as nori or taking kelp tablets.

    • @cherylcastillo7020
