I hate fish since little but I do buy from time to time omega 3 sardine oil capsules. Its said that 1.2gr of these equals to eating 1 fish every day for a week. Just be carefull of which produt you buy as many of these contain heavy metals as the fish it self was not caught in cold clean waters. The solutions of clean or at least 98-99% clean DHA omega 3 oils on the market are really few .

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 🥣 There is one powerful anti-inflammatory food that can help with gut inflammation, autoimmune diseases, and inflammatory conditions ending in "itis".
00:26 🌾 Foods that create inflammation include gluten, grains, alcohol, sugar, junk food, corn, soy, and refined seed oils.
01:48 🥛 A1 milk proteins from conventional dairy can also cause inflammation, while A2 proteins from goat/sheep dairy are safer.
02:31 🥗 Fiber, including from "healthy" plant foods like legumes and veggies, can irritate the colon when you have gut inflammation.
03:54 🥩 Beef contains the amino acid glutamine which helps heal leaky gut by supporting the intestinal cell layer.
06:54 🥬 For vegans, red cabbage is high in glutamine. Other glutamine-rich foods include bone broth, eggs, cheese, and fish.

I agree. I’ve been doing Keto & fasting for 4 years already. Before doing Keto & fasting, I was following the typical doctor recommendations like avoiding red meat, nuts & beans. I was already doing low carb & I was active but the bloating, gout, plantar fasciitis, dermatitis wouldn’t go away. I started watching your videos & stopped eating grains, highly processed carbs & also stopped using highly processed cooking oils, & then all the inflammation went away. I am trying to share my experience to people that have this problems but us is difficult to change their minds because they were told by everybody including their doctors the wrong information. I want to thank you Dr Berg, for all your informative videos. What gives Keto a bad name is when people do it wrong. When people are not well informed & do dirty Keto, it creates new problems.

Forty Eight hrs ago my joint pain was excruciating. Today I walked my little dog to his favorite spot and carried him back because of the heat . For three days I’ve been detoxing my inflamed body with ACV w/ honey and lemon. I sip this water like a tea. Don’t have to take as much pain relievers either. The culprit that kept me in a cycle of pain was sugar and drinking alcohol for pain relief. The very thing I thought eased my pain temporarily was causing it to increase.. I’m gong to eat more beef, and veggies. Love broccoli and cabbage. I appreciate the info.

This was definitely true to me. I have an autoimmune disease and I've had real bad gut issues for a year, to the point where I stopped eating at work just so I could survive through the day. So tweaking my diet helped me a lot. First of all, I cut down on sugar as much as I could that helped me a little (still a win), but when I tried carnivore diet and ate mostly beef and eggs, I experienced a very noticeable improvement after 3 days! I was never a big fan of meat (except of chicken and fish) so this was an amazing discovery for me :)

Good to know about cabbage. Thank you Dr. Berg. On the animal protein side I found this ¨Glutamine is the most abundant-and it’s also quite concentrated in the functional chicken protein FPP C and turkey protein FPP T compared to other animal proteins. For instance, in 100 grams of beef, there are, on average, 1.2 grams of glutamine. In 100 grams of FPP C or FPP T, there are 10.5 grams glutamine.¨. Hence, chicken contains 8xs more glutamine than beef!

I'm 49 and currently eat a whole foods, no ultra processed food, low carb (as in no grains, starchy veg, legumes etc), no refined or added sugars, no seed oils (only olive oil and avocado oil, tallow and butter) diet. I eat beef, lamb, chicken, pork, salmon, mackerel (I'm sorry, I just can't stand sardines), nothing that has been processed like sausage, ham, salami etc. I sometimes buy nitrate free, unsmoked bacon, but it's a once or twice a month thing. I'm also in the UK, so my bacon is raw rather than cured like ham. I eat live cultured fermented foods like kimchi and sauerkraut. I have either a 6 or 8 hour eating window after 1 or 2pm. I'm also in the middle of a rheumatoid arthritis flare up. My CRP is 19 and my hands and wrists are killing me. Admittedly that is far better than when I was first diagnosed 23 years ago and it was over 100, but I usually hover around 10 these days - still above normal, but manageable. So, if I am doing everything right food wise, what else can I do? Have I messed up in some huge way, or does my immune system just really not like me like my grandmother's hated her? Full disclosure, I had glandular fever when I was 16. I understand that can 'turn on' the gene for RA, which might be why I got it when I was 26 rather than in my 60s like my gm. My mother was also Type I diabetic from the age of 16 and I was about 4 weeks premature via C-section when my mother was 32. I am not diabetic in any way. I have this feeling that I'm one of those unfortunate people who simply got the short straw.

I've found my body loses weight and performs best if it stays away from carbs. If I eat carbs consistently, even as part of a balanced diet, I pile weight on quickly and I get blood sugar spikes and drastic falls. Low carb, I can easily fast for at least 24 hours without even feeling particularly hungry and still have plenty of energy for physical activity. So perhaps I am truly the hunter gatherer body type.
