I hate fish since little but I do buy from time to time omega 3 sardine oil capsules. Its said that 1.2gr of these equals to eating 1 fish every day for a week. Just be carefull of which produt you buy as many of these contain heavy metals as the fish it self was not caught in cold clean waters. The solutions of clean or at least 98-99% clean DHA omega 3 oils on the market are really few .
I love you, Dr Berg. With your guidance and God. I've healed my body and lost 90lbs. I was almost in a wheelchair and basically almost dead from autoimmune issues and a bartonella infection having a war in my body. I WON!
To everyone reading this, I sincerely pray for that whatever is causing you pain or stress will pass. May your negative thoughts, excessive worries and doubts disappear, replaced by clarity and understanding. May your life be filled with peace, tranquility and love
In Russia, when I completed my master in chemistry and biology many years ago we used to make this soup, Borsh, not sure is the translation is exactly, basically it’s a soup made loaded with read meat, cabbage and onions and topped when serve with kefir and the second most popular dias was staffed cabbage again with red meat and I never had the issues I am having since coming to USA. Going back to my roots. Thank you

For some changing diets is easier or harder depending on how they have programmed to think. Definitely easier than spending hours at the gym but both are important 😊
I think people view changing diet as far harder since you have to have discipline to actually eat healthy. Is diet better than meds? Definitely. Is taking a pill easier than changing your lifestyle? Definitely
Ive always had stomach issues since i was a child. I developed an autoimmune disease at age 23. Ive always tried to tell my doctors that i think the stomach issues and my joint inflammation are related, because the stomach issues preceded my joint issues, and certain foods make the inflammation worse. None of them have agreed or even listened. Thank you for this.
I have exactly this. I got tested for LITERALLY everything and everything came out clean. Severe joint pain and celiac disease out of nowhere, plus lactose intolerance (or even casein allergy, i'm not sure.). I want to tell you that you are in the same boat and we will get out of this! UPDATE: Go carnivore, trust me. I've seen huge results in only 2 months.
You shouldn't believe meat is good for you most cancers are from meat it makes the system acidic an environment for cancer plants are much better for you, most inflammation are from stress your adrenaline attack the body under stress choosing a peaceful life helps and that is only believing in Jesus He said come to me all loaded I will give you peace

I started juicing raw cabbage- two glasses a day after watching this video. After only two days, I have already noticed a reduction in inflammation especially when I hit the gym in the morning. I have also noticed an improvement in my stomach since I've been having pain over the last months. This is why I appreciate Dr. Berg. I would never get this type of valuable wellness info from a conventional doctor.
@@Jizzlewobbwtfcus You know what...the way they're genetically modifying everything, you may have to pick 1 or 2 things to eat each day that won't kill ya. 😅🙂
Autoimmune diseases can be caused by eating a lot of mammal foods (such as beef) because mammals are so similar to humans. Chicken has more glutamine than beef. Fish and cheese have almost as much as beef. Cabbage has less than spinach and much much less than foods with a high protein content.

I’ve been battling crohns and colitis for over half my life, and at age 29 I decided to completely change the way I eat. Low sugar, low carb, high animal fat and protein, good amount of veggies, and of course daily exercise has helped me turn it around. I’ve lost 30 pounds since I started in July and have never felt better. Watching nutritional information from doctors like you have helped me turn my life around. Food and proper nutrition is the best medicine!
You are doing well, but eventually it would ne even healthier if you skip sugar and carbs altogether, and skip veggies, though introduce low carbveg occasionally, and some blueberries with greek yoghurt, but you have done well, it's helped me also👍
I took your advice and I am eating beef three times a week. It got rid of my mysterious dizziness that I had for 20 some years. I don't have it anymore!! Not only that, I have so much more energy. Thank you Dr Berg!!

I LOVE cabbage!! I eat it all the time. I will say the red cabbage doesn’t make me bloat. The green does. I switch to organic cabbage and the bloat is gone. My grandmother made sauerkraut all the time as well as pickles. I am thankful to have had her in my life.
This is so crazy!! I’ve had major inflammation my whole life (mostly in the form of eczema) and through years of journaling and process of elimination I naturally discovered that beef and cabbage not only make me feel great but get rid of all the eczema on my body. I can even eat things that would normally cause a flare up as long as I’m eating beef and cabbage as a foundational daily meal. Thank you for sharing this knowledge so freely and on a massive scale, I’m sure it will help some else out there.
I'm so impressed by your dissemination of invaluable information and loath to wish to miss any through censorship, I've subscribed to your Newsletter and recommend it to others. Thank you for everything over the years. It has been a godsend.
You are changing so many people's lives. I was an alcoholic and sugar has been hands down SO much harder to quit than alcohol. Today I am 8 days free of soda though woohoo!!! Hahaha sounds silly but I thank you for all you are doing! I am making some cabbage juice this weekend and even my 8-year-old daughter is excited to try it!
Zevia makes sugar free sodas sweetened with stevia thus their brand name, so if you crave soda you might want to try that. Dr Zevia is my favorite, root beer, ginger ale, and their caffeine free cola as well. It's not a perfect copy of the sugar free brands but they're pretty close. Their Mt Dew copy was awful although I found their pink grapefruit tasted similar to Mt Dew or maybe like 7 Up, it's kind of trial and error. I'm glad you've come so far and you're getting your daughter involved in healthy eating, good for you!
We love you Dr Berg! THANKYOU so much. I started watching your videos 12 months ago, and as a result, changed my diet radically and started intermittent fasting. I avoid all these types of foods you mention. Today I have significantly reduced my endometriosis pain! KEEP GOING and people, please persevere with your diet!
Dr. Berg saved my life. I learned that I had a fatty liver from his videos. I have lost a lot of weight and I am doing the best ever in my life. This man is a God send for millions of people. 😊👍
May I ask what kind of pain your endometriosis caused you? I've had chronic back pain for a year and my ultrasound showed endometrial thickening and possibly a polyp however the gynecologist I saw initially didn't seem too concerned...

I followed Dr. Berg's advice and removed the seed oil and my inflammations decreased significantly after 2-3 weeks. For a year, no doctor could understand why these inflammations were so painful and even almost suggested to me that it was in my mind "you got to learn to live with it".
I found your channel about 8 weeks ago now, the same amount of time I've been doing fasting, and keto diet. I was also diagnosed with MS a year ago (at the hospital), but I am still awaiting to see the MS clinic. At one point, they were confused and not sure what exactly i had (neurologist). Keep in mind that I've had non-stop pain this whole year to the point where i needed help walking. I cut all sugars and carbs (small amount of sugar in the kefir), and fast every day at 18:6. Im telling you, these last 8 weeks have been amazing with hardly any pain left. I've been eating sauerkraut every day as a side as well as kimchi, kefir, and beef a couple of times a week. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Im also taking a B1 vitamin.

I agree. I’ve been doing Keto & fasting for 4 years already. Before doing Keto & fasting, I was following the typical doctor recommendations like avoiding red meat, nuts & beans. I was already doing low carb & I was active but the bloating, gout, plantar fasciitis, dermatitis wouldn’t go away. I started watching your videos & stopped eating grains, highly processed carbs & also stopped using highly processed cooking oils, & then all the inflammation went away. I am trying to share my experience to people that have this problems but us is difficult to change their minds because they were told by everybody including their doctors the wrong information. I want to thank you Dr Berg, for all your informative videos. What gives Keto a bad name is when people do it wrong. When people are not well informed & do dirty Keto, it creates new problems.
People look at me like I have a leg growing out of the side of my face when I try telling them about how the food we all are eating is causing all of our illnesses and inflammation. My boss told me the other day "Why are you doing this? You know, nobody can live forever?" (I told him I was making cabbage juice and he was utterly disgusted lol). I said I am not trying to live forever, I just want to feel good, be healthy and avoid all medications. Even then, they still dont get it!

It’s so crazy how we go to the doctor and you tell them all of your symptoms and they’re so quick to dismiss. Thank you Dr. Berg!!! I have changed my diet these past few weeks because I can tell my gut was not right. And I have never felt better!
I have severe intolerances to gluten, lactose, dairy, caesine, eggs, and chicken. At one point I had Erythema Nodosum repeatedly until my Rheumatologist took me off all gluten, wheat, and dairy. It was like getting my life back. I then noriced I was intolerant of soy & corn. Soy inflamed my bladder and corn hurts my gut. I do feel so much better eating cabbage on a fairly regular basis. Dr Berg you have helped me change my life! 3 months in Keto and IF and my fatty liver is healing, my inflammation has all but gone, my fibromyalgia is stable and I'm 28lbs lighter Thank you Sir
Yep! Me too over a year ago! The weight was falling off FAST! I had gotten down to 129lbs! I was running up to 5-6 miles a day with no pain. My joints started feeling better, no more pain from lupus or fibromyalgia. My skin started to glow!! I stopped every single pill my Dr gave me and changed my eating habits ( not that it was horrible) but I was eating everything the FDA says is “healthy”. I research what Dr Berg said for a yr before I started doing what he recommended, lol. And he’s helped me tremendously!
I have had stomach inflammation issues and take omeprazole for it and the most helpful food for me has been sauerkraut. If i am traveling and eating unhealthy and feel stomach inflammation I will eat salmon cooked in olive oil with a sauerkraut and arugula salad drizzled with olive oil. Eating that a day or two really helps.
I've been trying to quit sugar. I'm so addicted. I've been trying to go carnivore. It's tough. I know it's the way, though. Much Love Doc for speaking the truth.

Forty Eight hrs ago my joint pain was excruciating. Today I walked my little dog to his favorite spot and carried him back because of the heat . For three days I’ve been detoxing my inflamed body with ACV w/ honey and lemon. I sip this water like a tea. Don’t have to take as much pain relievers either. The culprit that kept me in a cycle of pain was sugar and drinking alcohol for pain relief. The very thing I thought eased my pain temporarily was causing it to increase.. I’m gong to eat more beef, and veggies. Love broccoli and cabbage. I appreciate the info.
Good but honey?? Seriously?? And no lemon also. See Dr.bergz video on ACV vs Lemon for joint pains. Honey has so much sugar in it. Just have ACV, EPA rich fish oil, apply Castor oil(Dr.berg has video on it for joint pain). And start keto and IF
This was definitely true to me. I have an autoimmune disease and I've had real bad gut issues for a year, to the point where I stopped eating at work just so I could survive through the day. So tweaking my diet helped me a lot. First of all, I cut down on sugar as much as I could that helped me a little (still a win), but when I tried carnivore diet and ate mostly beef and eggs, I experienced a very noticeable improvement after 3 days! I was never a big fan of meat (except of chicken and fish) so this was an amazing discovery for me :)
Good to know about cabbage. Thank you Dr. Berg. On the animal protein side I found this ¨Glutamine is the most abundant-and it’s also quite concentrated in the functional chicken protein FPP C and turkey protein FPP T compared to other animal proteins. For instance, in 100 grams of beef, there are, on average, 1.2 grams of glutamine. In 100 grams of FPP C or FPP T, there are 10.5 grams glutamine.¨. Hence, chicken contains 8xs more glutamine than beef!
I voluntarily live in the " No Pork Zone." Pasture raised beef is fabulous! Goat milk cheese, kefir, cottage cheese and sheep's milk yogurt are great. 🤗
Hmm..I see many references to red meat being bad for leaky gut. Maybe more studies with clearer outcomes about red meat need to be done...and not funded by the Beef industry...
I absolutely love beef bones boiled with cabbage. So, so sweet. I didn’t realise it was so good for me so now I’ll be upping my intake. Thank you Dr Berg
Howdy, any specific beef bones do you buy? Just boil them a head of cabbage or???????? And drink? Process please? I just can’t digest Meat even with digestive aides. Wondered if I started with a broth or something? Thanks much!
My experience with carbs and then going to beef only is exactly the same as highlighted in this video. It felt so good to get rid of the stomach pain, gas and bloating.

Please grow your own cabbages.. if you knew how much poison goes onto cabbages you would not eat the bought stuff.. i gave up farming cabbages on a big scale because of this... in south africa tho..
Limiting gluten and cutting out refined sugars and cooking oils has definitely helped me, but beef (and any red meat for that matter) was such a trigger for my eczema I couldn’t go back to that. It didn’t matter how lean the meat was or if it was organic or grass fed, etc. Cabbage I’ll definitely do tho!
Yeah, me too. I just don’t digest meat well, bloated. It’s not a one approach that works for everyone for sure. Fermented foods are great. Think everything comes down to gut health. I felt the best years ago eating right for my blood type. Got to be some truth in it for me. Cellular inflammation is culprit!

I'm 49 and currently eat a whole foods, no ultra processed food, low carb (as in no grains, starchy veg, legumes etc), no refined or added sugars, no seed oils (only olive oil and avocado oil, tallow and butter) diet. I eat beef, lamb, chicken, pork, salmon, mackerel (I'm sorry, I just can't stand sardines), nothing that has been processed like sausage, ham, salami etc. I sometimes buy nitrate free, unsmoked bacon, but it's a once or twice a month thing. I'm also in the UK, so my bacon is raw rather than cured like ham. I eat live cultured fermented foods like kimchi and sauerkraut. I have either a 6 or 8 hour eating window after 1 or 2pm. I'm also in the middle of a rheumatoid arthritis flare up. My CRP is 19 and my hands and wrists are killing me. Admittedly that is far better than when I was first diagnosed 23 years ago and it was over 100, but I usually hover around 10 these days - still above normal, but manageable. So, if I am doing everything right food wise, what else can I do? Have I messed up in some huge way, or does my immune system just really not like me like my grandmother's hated her? Full disclosure, I had glandular fever when I was 16. I understand that can 'turn on' the gene for RA, which might be why I got it when I was 26 rather than in my 60s like my gm. My mother was also Type I diabetic from the age of 16 and I was about 4 weeks premature via C-section when my mother was 32. I am not diabetic in any way. I have this feeling that I'm one of those unfortunate people who simply got the short straw.
@@terrib3083 I believe I already do that (even though I'd never heard of it before. Had to look it up). I'm O and eat a low carb, high protein diet, which is what that plan suggests. I've found my body loses weight and performs best if it stays away from carbs. If I eat carbs consistently, even as part of a balanced diet, I pile weight on quickly and I get blood sugar spikes and drastic falls. Low carb, I can easily fast for at least 24 hours without even feeling particularly hungry and still have plenty of energy for physical activity. So perhaps I am truly the hunter gatherer body type.
What you're saying is 100% true, not from research (Well that as well) but from my personal experience!! My respect for you is only growing bigger each video. Another great one doc!! 👍👍

Thank you so much, Dr. Berg! I will try this beef+cabbage combination out to fight my chronic non-bactericidal prostatitis that makes me suffer for years. Broccoli already improved it a lot _(liquid extraction prepared acc. to professor Saracoglu)_ and tumeric taken with a teaspoon of olive oil and two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar even more, so I'd say I now only deal with 20 % of the initial prostatitis symptoms I had for the past 6 years. Let's see if your precious tip can give it the rest. As you know, unfortunately, meat is used to have a bad reputation in alternative medicine for not being suitable for the long human intestinal tract as it decomposes right there creating putrescine, ptomaine and cadaverine which are said to be carcinogenic and irritate the gut.
@@helgabruin2261 Good hint, but also fat increases the bioavailability. Piperine can irritate in some cases and destroy the antiinflammatory effect which would be undesirable.

I've had gastritis for months after a combination of hot sauce, antibiotics and caffeine destroyed my gut. Thank you for this video, doctor. Beef and cabbage sounds great!
The explosion of gut related diseases and conditions can be directly corollated to what has changed in our food supply over the last 30 years. For some changing diets is easier or harder depending on how they have programmed to think.

Ive always had stomach issues since i was a child. I developed an autoimmune disease at age 23. Ive always tried to tell my doctors that i think the stomach issues and my joint inflammation are related, because the stomach issues preceded my joint issues, and certain foods make the inflammation worse. Great to hear. I make a simple keto chow mein with beef mince and red cabbage (plus a few other ingredients). Little did I know I was getting lots of glutamine 😊
You are literally my hero. I think you've saved my life more than once. I hope you never stop sharing!
Hi when I wat beef I get really sore Nkles and feet as it becomes gout.
I SO didn't want this to be true! I don't even know how to make the stuff. I haven't eaten /made beef since at least 1991
@@maddworld3317I don't even like the smell of it😅 but you gotta do what you gotta do..
Hence, chicken contains 8xs more glutamine than beef!
add l-glutamine powder to ur diet !
I’m not eating chicken.
It’s just gross
Give me beef
Give me pork
Give me fish, and wild seafood
YeaAaa! Hence..
This man is so humble and knowledgeable it's unreal!! GOD BLESS you and Yours Dr Berg
Dr berg is national treasure
Going carnivore saved my life! You’re an awesome Dr and I share your videos with everyone! Thank you! 😊
I just can’t digest
Meat even with digestive aides. Wondered if I started with a broth or something? Thanks much!

My experience with carbs and then going to beef only is exactly the same as highlighted in this video. It felt so good to get rid of the stomach pain, gas and bloating.
How is a doctor who’s teaching people to be healthy being censored on UA-cam?
That doesn’t make any sense…
On behalf of us who are here learning how to heal ourselves and keep ourselves healthy in a natural way. We appreciate you, Dr. Berg!
Yes I am perplexed as well. Is it because the healthier we are the more we don't consume from the pharmaceuticals?
When you begin to understand what's really happening, you'll understand the censorship!
@TheEdub. That's one of the biggest reasons!
Please grow your own cabbages.. if you knew how much poison goes onto cabbages you would not eat the bought stuff.. i gave up farming cabbages on a big scale because of this... in south africa tho..
Speak truth; you'll be vanished. That's always been the case, but people never realised it.
Always best information, thank you.
Most welcome! Glad you found it helpful.
Take probiotics Bec it may be rich iron.
Try digestive enzymes
BRO!!! Had been hearing about Keto/Carnivore helping with healing the gut and auto-immune issues. Changed my diet to Meat (against "Doctors" recommendations) and Cruciferous veggies to try to get rid of my Gout and Arthritis.....Best "leap of faith" ever!! Thanks for explaining why it worked!

Yes, beef, especially grass fed beef diet healed my PCOS. I had irregular periods (getting it only 2 month once) and 25 years later, after eating grass fed beef almost everyday for 4 months… my period became regular. I know have monthly period. It was amazing.
Can't believe. Maybe you took something also, like seeds, ??

@LisaMarieAuthentic carnivore is just meat, preferably red meat, high fat consumption. keto is meats veggies cheese
Beef…WOW!! Cabbage…WOW!! Eggs…!!! I can eat these and will start focusing on them. THANK YOU SOO MUCH! Susan
Most welcome!
I give my 93 year old mom, whole goat’s milk. She only eats bananas and some organic whole grain bread. She doesn’t eat much, due to appetite loss. Thanks Dr. Berg for all your research, to help millions.
Give her some pot she will get the munchies
What about coconut oil is it inflamitory?
@@leon5537I agree. Nothing like a good pot roast.
Give her raw goat milk
@@dabrab6324 Raw virgin coconut oil I would say, yes, but not refined or MCTs/fractionated “coconut oil”! Most MCT (medium chain triglycerides) manufacturers literally strip the best saturated fat out, namely, lauric acid! Eating wholistic (as in the whole) is usually the best when eating most everyday foods from all my researching.
Dr. Berg, please know we truly appreciate you sharing these vital information with us. Please, keep teaching us despite all the censorship. Do not give up!
Thank you so much!!!
I had surgery for Nasal polyps this year and 2 doctors wanted to get me on bimonthly shots! Got on Carnivore after listening to Dr Berg and I can now breathe!!!! Thank you for all your help! Quick question are Oxalates in back pepper or other peppers an issue for inflammation?
Maybe try reading Eat Right For Your Blood Type?
@@archaeobard1 According to the blood type book, Type Os should not eat pork and most dairy. Have you looked at the food lists?
What you're saying is 100% true, not from research (Well that as well) but from my personal experience!! My respect for you is only growing bigger each video.
Another great one doc!! 👍👍
Best researches should be from personal and individual experiences

How much glutamine do you take?
@pattyoconnor2183
One scoop.
Clean, Organic
L Glutamine.
Don't forget to include piperine to enable the turmeric to be absorbed.
@@helgabruin2261 Good hint, but also fat increases the bioavailability. Piperine can irritate in some cases and destroy the antiinflammatory effect which would be undesirable.
For what it's Worth I swear by the Beef and Cabbage, especially the Fermented type or Sauerkraut it is also high in Vitamin C.
Green or leafy Vegetables are also good for the System.
Will try the beef and cabbage as I have inflammation in my knee joints and back. Thank for the list of foods not to eat,
I learn a lot from you guys (Eric Berg, Sten Ekberg, John Campbell, ...). I love your channels and I confirm that it helps without taking pills. I feel much better now since I am doing intermittent fasting (16-8) and since I am more aware of healthy food (less sugar/carbs/processed foods); No more itchy arms, less weight, more energy, ... better sleep without big effort in fact. Me happy :-). From Belgium, with love.
My 3 favs too!❤
Mine too
And when you look for sauerkraut, get the one in the refrigerated section of a fancier grocery store. The sauerkraut on the shelves has been pasteurized, which means the “good bacteria” has been killed. Glad to hear you overcame your inflammation!
Or make it yourself; it's actually a quite easy, beginner-friendly fermentation project. Just cabbage + salt. ❤️

Thank you Dr. Berg all this information is vital for me. I grew up in Colombia and we barely have all these conditions there. I came to the U.S. 23 years ago and my gut heath has definitely changed. It’s sad to know they are trying to keep us away from good food and good information.
I've had gastritis for months after a combination of hot sauce, antibiotics and caffeine destroyed my gut. Thank you for this video, doctor. Beef and cabbage sounds great!
Cool your stomach down. Gel pad, clean mud or wet towel.
The explosion of gut related diseases and conditions can be directly corollated to what has changed in our food supply over the last 30 years. There has been a huge uptick in pesticides, herbicides (glyphosate being the big one), gmos, and chemicals in processed foods. Before this people ate grains and corn as part of their diets without problems.
You are so right. There are so many sources of inflammation in our diet and in the environment. We give all our clients a special blend of Tumeric and black pepper to help offset these factors
Dr Berg is a real blessing.
Very glad to be of help.
