I think the kit would make a nice gift to turn a friend onto the idea. But I'd hope also it would become apparent to the recipient that they can purchase a large container of oats from the grocery store for a fraction of the cost. With that said, I had only recently overheard the term "overnight oats" and was interested in other ways to prepare oatmeal. Up until now I've been pouring boiling water into a cup of oats and letting it sit for a few minutes. This method sound more efficient and maybe even healthier. So thank you for the video :)
$4.00 a pack? People are so gullible! 😮. Literally just buy a huge container of steal cut oats, whatever you want to add, and boom, less than a dollar per serving. If that’s too much “effort”, you deserve to be ripped off. 🤷♂️
I just put it together, shake it, and then drink it. Easy. I don’t think it’s meant to be warmed, that defeats the whole convenience factor lol. I’m sure if left overnight it’s a little better but I have no complaints drinking right after I pour and mix it.
For everyone saying “Oh she didn’t follow the instructions” TECHNICALLY you add the milk then the oats and then you leave it in the fridge for a minimum of 4-5 hours. What part of that did she screwed up on?
I agree definitely not worth the price. I would rather meal prep them. Also, I have never had runny overnight oats like that 😬 Mine are always thick and creamy.
Why not just go to the store - buy oats, milk, honey, cinnamon ( if not allready at home) put into a glas and put it into the fridge? Much cheaper - you can also get some protein powder to add flavour of your liking... Dont know why?
Judging by the video I’d probably make than heat it up. Then put it back in the shaker and eat/drink it on the go in the morning since I got to be at work at 630 am
:O the ad for the oats does advertise them to be able to be drinkable so might be good to watch more of the vids to figure out how theyre supposed to be :)
Ryze overnight oats it's amazing not sure about this brand, and with ryze it's only 8oz of water with 1 pack the vanilla cinnamon is amazing and drink it right out of my shaker
They absolutely expect you to drink it. That's how they advertise it in every single ad lol that's why it comes with a shaker. They say it's possible to mix it in a bowl and heated in the microwave as long as you use half the required milk
The calories are way too high for me to want to drink this instead of eating it. So weird to me. I would rather mix protein powder with ice or a frozen banana for better macros, less calories and more volume. Kind of frustrating because I felt like this could be good if you would eat it as normal oatmeal is made
I do really like it. I prefer it cold but that's most things I eat. Not really a warm liquid person. I do drink it. If you add a little.more milk then recommended then the drinkability goes up without watering down the flavor. I haven't tried it in the micro yet but might in the future
I love all the flavors so far. I hadn't thought about heating them up, I'm going to try that next serving. I always just drink them, and don't mind the texture at all.
Why is it every time I see someone talk negatively about this company people seem to come out of the woodwork trying to defend them. They are pretty much hostile in their approach.
The instructions say to add the milk first - then add the oats. You didn't follow those instructions in the beginning - so I'm not watching the rest of the video.

I just ordered to try and then cancel. I got 16 packs with the tumbler thing. it has an 8oz label on it but seems like it should hold MORE. Maybe for second try tomorrow ill add more stuff. I had banana bread and the smell.......SO GOOD....the taste was meh. not bad but I tried it cold.
If it's too thick, then just add more milk.
In my opinion - the blueberry is the worst one. The banana bread is delicious
I just put it together, shake it, and then drink it. Easy. I don’t think it’s meant to be warmed, that defeats the whole convenience factor lol. I’m sure if left overnight it’s a little better but I have no complaints drinking right after I pour and mix it.
🤗
You’re supposed to use the shaker to warm it up in the microwave (without the lid on). That way you don’t dirty another dish.
Good to know!
For everyone saying “Oh she didn’t follow the instructions” TECHNICALLY you add the milk then the oats and then you leave it in the fridge for a minimum of 4-5 hours. What part of that did she screwed up on?
🤷🏼♀️
Just buy Bob’s Mill Organic Quick Cooking Steel Cut Oats from Costco & SAVE yourself some money.
I love them!!! taste great both hot and cold. Banana bread is my favorite.
😊🙌🏼
I agree definitely not worth the price. I would rather meal prep them. Also, I have never had runny overnight oats like that 😬 Mine are always thick and creamy.
Ashley Boyette I prefer it runny!
It seems like a waste of single use plastic for something you can make at home for pennies 🤷🏼♀️
Amen sistah!
Yes we can make oats for pennies, but maintaining the same amount of protein content in the meal would definitely add to the pennies. Just a thought!
Mmm I still think the math is in favor of doing it yourself plus it’s a lot of single use plastic and I think we all can do better on that front!
Lol that was not 8 ounces 😅
They have since made it cheaper
Nice!
Why not just go to the store - buy oats, milk, honey, cinnamon ( if not allready at home) put into a glas and put it into the fridge?
Much cheaper - you can also get some protein powder to add flavour of your liking... Dont know why?
true!
Okay so serious question... how is your skin so flawless?! what am i doing wrong?!
You can buy a whole dozen eggs for cheaper than one serving of this and way more nutrient dense.
That’s great!
Judging by the video I’d probably make than heat it up. Then put it back in the shaker and eat/drink it on the go in the morning since I got to be at work at 630 am
I don't love it doing down, but I feel full with something healthy.
I’ve made overnight oats at home, it is really simple so I think buying this is just the ultimate lazy and not about convenient
But is all convenience just a form of laziness?!?🤨
“Doesn’t have too much of the sliminess” doesn’t really make me want to eat it. 😂
:O the ad for the oats does advertise them to be able to be drinkable so might be good to watch more of the vids to figure out how theyre supposed to be :)
Just make your own they’re so much cheaper and you can make whatever flavors you want
As a blue collar these are amazing early in the morning pricing isn’t that bad either
I never subscribe to a random channel but this time i did, you seem wholesome keep it up ;)
Thank You!
Ryze overnight oats it's amazing not sure about this brand, and with ryze it's only 8oz of water with 1 pack the vanilla cinnamon is amazing and drink it right out of my shaker
Nice!
They absolutely expect you to drink it. That's how they advertise it in every single ad lol that's why it comes with a shaker. They say it's possible to mix it in a bowl and heated in the microwave as long as you use half the required milk
9 sugar. You forgot 9 sugar. That's way too much sugar added. Might as well be a sugary cereal with peanuts added
So are there whole oats in there or are they ground up?
First time on your channel, but I can't leave after Cacao.
Welcome aboard!
🙌🏼☺️
I make it at home its thicker and flavored how i want. Today ate one with cocoa, coconut and pb
That’s a 200% markup, cuz I bet they make those for 1.50$
200,000%
just ordered it and hoping for the best
Did you like it??
I was an extra on Portlandia once, it’s such a great show, especially if you live here then you really get the jokes!!
😂
How much protein comes from the milk?
Why is it every time I see someone talk negatively about this company people seem to come out of the woodwork trying to defend them. They are pretty much hostile in their approach.
Oh definitely 🤗
I’ll check these out. I’ve made them myself but haven’t been a massive fan. The flavors sound good though.
Danielle Clark I’ve liked them so far! Blueberry has been my fav because it actually has blueberries!
Tried these. They are ok. However, with cost and shipping it’s not worth it. Go to the store and buy all the products. Wayyyyyy cheaper.
It’ll mostly always be cheaper doing it yourself 🤷🏻♂️
The instructions say to add the milk first - then add the oats. You didn't follow those instructions in the beginning - so I'm not watching the rest of the video.
Dang😭
I’m mad she said “it’s like drinking puke” but trying to give a good review lol
But like good ya know😅
Mine never come out tasting good! I may just have to try this!!
Add butter, totally brings out the flavor
expensive if shipping international...
For that price you can get a canister of oatmeal and make 20 of them yourself 🤦♂️
It’s 100$ a month for 34 packets…. That’s literally a steal it’s a meal replacement for the breakfast. You’ll be full from one
Great breakdown! 🙌🏼
What’s the calories, how nutritious is this really, for those of us who are watching what we eat
It’s 260 calories for the blueberry flavor pouch. 5g fat, 6g fiber, 8g sugar, 20g protein.
Thank god, your body language says it all & saved me money on this overrated product.
Body language says it all💪🏼
So are you supposed to drink it? I’m confused
🤣🤣🤣 “It feels like your drinking puke”
Thanks for this review. I was considering it since it's marketed as a quick breakfast drink for on the go...but if that's the least pleasant way to consume, it's a no from me.
Good call!
Y’all swole 💪🏽😂
We try💪
