Today I'm sharing my cottage cheese bowl recipe that BLEW UP the internet. This is a fan favorite years later, so I figured it's time to finally make a video dedicated to this simple protein packed meal!

I used to do a close version of this recipe back in the 1980s. Cottage cheese, fresh blueberries and walnuts. It has always been one of my favorite breakfasts. Thanks for bringing it back.

My husband loves cottage cheese I was ok with it but haven’t eaten it in years. I bought your brand and made this recipe. It was delicious and soooooo filling. I have lost 80 pounds by intermittent fasting over the past 18 months. Thank you…I am also a New Yorker and love that you speak quickly.
i've started intermittent fasting... have you any tips? food you eat between days? Your weight drop is impressive. i don't want to exercise? as i've done too much of that in the past. I need to get a grip on my appetite.
I make something similar. I use 1/3 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 c Greek Yogurt (flavored but FF SF), mix well, sprinkle with cinnamon, then top with 1/8 cup granola & 1/2 c fresh blueberries. It is so filling &
I don’t feel hungry until lunch time.
Instead of granola, try cracked Hemp seed, Chia seeds and Flax seeds....loaded with Fiber!!

@lynnkavanagh7361 it really is they are protein packed and are loaded with fiber... Chia seeds will even thicken it if you want to add a little nut milk... you can even make fresh jelly with chia seeds....and make something called Chia Seed Pudding flavored however you like. I use, Stevia, Monkfruit or Allulose to keep the carb and calories down..... Chia Seed pudding tastes kind of like Tapioca.
i would do half cottage cheese and greek yogurt as well, blueberries and cinnamon (almost on everything, coffee).
But why? When a cup of cottage cheese has more protein than 6 eggs.... just blend it smooth and add whatever you want
I actually make Cottage Cheese Ice Cream and sometimes eat that as a meal
Cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped tomatoes, green onion, chop a few olives, lemon pepper. Stir it up. You can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. You’re welcome.
YES! I love savory CC, too. Try a sprinkle of slightly toasted in a pan (for literally 1-min) 'Everything but the Bagel' on top...

I’ll have to try this! My favorite cottage cheese bowl is 1 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 peeled fuji apple diced, 1/4 cup mixed nuts(walnuts, peanuts, pecans and cashews) and a dash of black pepper. Yum
I have fresh berries, cottage cheese, and pecans for lunch fairly regularly. Very filling and delicious!

This recipe is absolutely awesome - I love it! Had it everyday since watching this video - 3 times for breakfast, and yesterday as an early dinner.
I do however mad it even simpler to make: I put the blueberries together with the peanutbutter in a bowl, stick in the microwave for 90 seconds, then add the cottage cheese - done! This slightly melts the peanutbutter and is therefore better to mix.

I'm a nurse. I have cottage cheese,PB, greek yogurt and a diced apple every day for lunch. I don't get breaks so this is something I can eat at the nurses station. I just have to make sure I don't have a curd stuck between my teeth when I go into a room. 😂

I eat this for dessert at night with your blueberry chia jam. It's soooo good!
You can also substitute the cottage cheese for sour cream. Then spoon onto pancakes and top with pure maple syrup.
Wow! That’s exactly what I do 😅 the only way I eat cottage cheese, with berry “jam”, and I add walnuts rather than PB.
After seeing this on your channel I’m obsessed with this combo! I gently microwave my frozen blueberries with chia seeds, stevia drops, cinnamon, sweet cinnamon, vanilla extract and nutmeg, anything not nailed to the floor 😂- basically make a big jar of jam and have it ready. It’s AMAZING.

That’s exactly the same brand of cottage cheese I eat/love! I like to do a sweet cottage cheese bowl with shredded carrot and pineapple 😋 or savory option with celery, raw peppers green olives 🫒 and black pepper 😋. Thank you for heating the blueberries on the stove to avoid nuking your food in the microwave-I definitely use that microwave way too much!
I love this cottage cheese bowl and eat this almost everyday for either breakfast or lunch. I use chopped pecans or walnuts instead of peanut butter. I like the blueberries frozen or slightly thawed and don't heat them up. I buy the bag of organic frozen blueberries at Costco and they last a long time. This keeps me full for hours. Thanks Autumn!

You should try cottage cheese with fresh pineapple. It is SO DELICIOUS!!

oh my goodness. i tried this. i used fresh berries amd chia seeds and microwaved the whole bowl of berries, peanut butter and cottage cheese for about a minute. it was so good. it was like a dessert. thanks Autumn!

Just what’s needed simple practical meals , need to buy cottage cheese now .
I've made similar- without peanut butter. Using some vanilla extract in the cottage cheese with a squirt of stevia ( mixing ), then lightly heating wild blueberries in a pan ,as shown- with a squirt of lemon juice.
My go to every other day!

I whipped up my cottage cheese (one cup) and blended it with a scoop of Quest peanut butter protein. Then, I topped it with blueberries and chia seeds. Yes, I got that recipe from you. Anyway, it is amazing tasting. As a matter of fact, I am having it for lunch today.

Just added 1/2 scoop of your vanilla protein to the sautéed blueberries once they were off the stove, slightly cooled - SO GOOD! Extra protein and kind of gives it a blueberry cobbler/birthday cake flavor. BTW your protein powder is fantastic! This was my first order of it and I'll definitely be ordering again and trying chocolate!

I have blueberries & cottage cheese every morning, eat with a hand full (1/4 cup) of almonds because I’m not supposed to have peanuts. Eat the berries in season, and frozen organic out of season (usually put in fridge overnight to thaw). I’ll have to try thawing the frozen blueberries in my little 8” cast iron skillet like you showed.

I am so glad your channel showed up in my feed Autumn! And I love that name!! I have not had cottage cheese in a while since during the pandemic, and we received a tub of it, like you have here in a food care box. I searched the internet on what to do with it, mostly searched Pinterest. I made cottage cheese pancakes and something else I can not remember. But I have yet to find a good brand of cottage cheese, so thank you. Also thanks for talking about Skyr. I bought some recently and I like it. I also like Greek yogurt, so I knew I would also probably like Skyr. I love using these yogurts with a tart taste as a sour cream substitute and use Trader Joe's Green Goddess Seasoning and a table.spoon of plant based milk to make a healthy dip for chips or veggies, 😋!! I will try this brand you have featured here, but buy a small one just in case I do not like it so as not to waste.

About a million years ago a saw a frugal colleague sitting in her vehicle scarfing down some oatmeal mixed with cottage cheese and blueberries. I was appalled and felt bad and made a note to treat her to lunch the next day. Besides the fact that she was in a position to benefit from the lunch, that meal I saw wasn't just a $$ crunch thing like I had initially thought. It took me quite a while to have that aha moment and realize what a powerhouse little breakfast she actually had there. It's amazing what one learns when the mind and heart is opened and judgment is set aside. I now incorporate cottage cheese into many dishes, it's an easy addition of protein to almost anything and everything.

Why use PB for fat if using full fat cottage cheese?
Plus protein, flavor, more healthy fats. It'll keep you satiated longer and also stop carb cravings.
There's barely any fat in cottage cheese, it's the same as milk.

Even though I do like cottage cheese, I prefer using ricotta cheese with blueberries, cinnamon and a little stevia. Love this for breakfast or lunch.

Would heating the blueberries in the microwave instead of in
