    We really wanted to like this one-it's convenient, affordable, and packaged nicely-but it's not for us.
    EDIT: We reordered the cookies and cream flavor to use as a quick post-workout recovery shake. It works great for this purpose. But we stand by the review-most flavors weren't for us, and when left overnight, they become sloppy.
    Here's a trick: Mix and consume within 30 minutes. NOT overnight.

    I bought it at Walmart. That one said add water, online it says milk, so I did milk. Chocolate banana, it was very good, drinkable. This is not really spoon oatmeal. Also, I’ve made overnight oats and I’m ok with cold/room temperature oatmeal meal.
    So I ordered it, but only to break up my fasting days and I won’t fast with this. I like to start with protein before eating sugar.
    Think of it as a protein drink with a few added oats for texture. If you are old think of it like a Carnation Instant Breakfast drink with protein and oats tossed in.
    I believe half the reviews are fake.

      Actually I think I will go off one random review. I trust negative reviews way more than positive paid endorsement reviews. Not a single positive review online that wasn’t endorsed.

    • @BrittasCreepyTreasures
      @BrittasCreepyTreasures 23 дні тому +4

      @BKWalrus I am not endorsed and I literally have been eating them for breakfast AND dinner for most of each week. I've tried probably 25 flavors not just 5 or 6. And have 13 different ones in my 2 subscriptions since I eat them so much. Like with all food there will be people who like and don't like things and FYI people are more likely to post negative reviews than positive ones sadly. I've gotten my husband, dad, his wife and my best friend hooked too because they are delicious. Is every flavor awesome to me? No because I don't love every flavor profiles that exists. Not to mention the company has a money back guarantee so you literally have not one thing to lose.

    So I use half n half with mine 3/4 then 1/4 water it makes a perfect texture that’s thick enough but drinkable still. The peanut butter chocolate shakes from Walmart are phenomenal. But I guess everyone has different tastes lol

    Man I gotta tell ya, you guys missed the mark here. I just finished my first case of 16 flavors and I loved them all. Definitely worked best as a drink, not with a spoon. (It came with a BOTTLE, hello?) I will say, the berry flavors were the best for me, but the other flavors I got were still decent enough. Anyway, just putting this comment here for those are still open to trying these. 😅 Personally, I love them.

  • @BrittasCreepyTreasures
    @BrittasCreepyTreasures Місяць тому +12

    So firstly these are meant to be drinkable oatmeal. Yes you CAN eat them but thats not how they were designed. 2nd they just kept trying chocolate ones over and over instead of a variety. You can also use any milk or milk replacement. I use unsweetened almond milk and add a couple sugar replacement packets or a tablespoon of sugar free maple syrup and have enjoyed way more than i havent enjoyed. There are also tons more flavors for subscribers! There really is something for everyone. My favorites have been Coconut Cream Pie, Strawberries and Cream, Fruity Cereal, Pumpkin Spice and Peanut Butter & Jelly. Im not as big on the chocolate ones however my hisband has enjoyed them and lots of group members have tried them. Im sad to see one review making people who wanted to try them decide not to. Its a super healthy option and they are actually good. Ive been wanting them every morning. Have i found some i dont like? Yep! Nobody likes everything. They also have a replacement option. If you dont like them they will replace with another flavor or refund your order if you decide its not for you. Seems like a no brainer to try them.

    Maybe I just have a simple palette, I’ve never been a picky eater, I think they’re perfectly fine, and considering the protein rating, vs the cost of actual protein powder these days, plus the oats, and other nutrient rich items they put in them I think it’s just fine. Obviously no one’s buying these to save money, although it’s not the most expensive breakfast considering most people spend $3+ on a coffee every morning so for less than that you get a decent breakfast with some protein. I’d buy them again. But once just know what you’re buying them for. It is oatmeal at the end of the day and if you’re not a big fan of oatmeal, this won’t be some magic product that suddenly gets you into it lol.

    It seems like this review might have missed the main appeal of the product. While the critique of the flavors was thorough, the review didn’t focus on whether or not the viewer should buy these Overnight Oats. From my experience, even the least liked flavors are significantly better than any instant oat pouch from the store. The variety offered is also something that’s hard to achieve with homemade overnight oats.
    I find it unconventional to eat these with a spoon, as they are designed to be a convenient, drinkable breakfast, especially when you're on the go. The wide range of flavors helps keep the breakfast choice interesting, preventing it from becoming monotonous. The protein content is also sufficient to keep you satiated until lunch, offering good value at $3 - $3.50 per serving.
    If you’re looking for an easy, varied breakfast that keeps you full throughout the morning and you're okay with the price, Overnight Oats could be a great choice.
    Regarding your pinned comment about eating the oats right away, it seems like a different method than intended by the manufacturer. If the oats are consumed in the way they were designed to be used, their value and convenience are more apparent. While it’s fine to have personal preferences, not using the product as intended might be why it didn't meet your expectations. I’ve found the flavors to be quite well-crafted for a milk-based oat drink that comes from a pouch.
    Ultimately, this product is about convenience. If your mornings are more relaxed and dedicated to enjoying a meal, the practicality of Overnight Oats might not seem as significant. However, for those needing a quick, reliable breakfast on the move, it can be a game-changer. Not all flavors might hit the mark for everyone, but they generally do well enough to keep them from being a breakfast skipper.

    📢 To anyone trying them, TRY BLENDING THEM!! I nervously ordered these despite seeing reviews of people not liking it because I was desperate for easy breakfast and I knew if they were awful, I could get my money back. I’m so glad I tried it because I really needed a low effort meal option for my depressed, low energy self 😫 I have been blending mine because I knew from the reviews that the texture would probably be unappetizing. Blending them completely solves that issue and makes them more like thick milkshakes. I love it! The only flavors I’ve tried that have that distinct protein taste l are coconut cream, cinnamon roll and blueberry cobbler. Hated the blueberry cobbler. The vegan protein they use has an off-putting taste in my opinion. I LOVED the blueberry glazed donut which I guess is the non-vegan version of the blueberry cobbler flavor.

    People should understand that this is protein powder mixed with oatmeal. I don’t get the logic of leaving in fridge then drinking? Just leave it to sit for 30m-1h to soften. My issue with this product is that they make it sound like it’s a great tasting product but protein powder and at its finest still tastes like bland awful protein powder. This company is different in the fact that they have many flavors that u don’t see in grocery stores, but it’s all protein powder based. I oft likes protein powder and u can buy a generic protein none flavor or flavored and mix that in which most do who use the powders. Good video and I’m glad I watched many reviews. Most people seem to agree that this product is bad and only a few seem to think is ok or good. People, make ur own oatmeal and if u want protein in ur oatmeal, throw in some powder. It’s much cheaper and u can buy a small cheap tub to try and oatmeal is like $5 in a big batch from Quaker. This way if u hate it u can toss ur powder and keep ur oats. Trust me, nothing mixed with protein powder is good. I’ve been p
    Bodybuilding for over 20 years and they’re all the same and taste just ok or bad. Even after a few day of tiger and fitness’s protein powders I was getting sick of those.
