Gojira are no joke, they're highly respected within the heavy metal community, also they're criminally underrated for how clean their live performances are! The singer and drummer are brothers. Mario (drummer) is unboutably one of the most talented drummers out their right now, dude's a walking metronome. If you're looking for a good variety of songs to react to, I'd suggest - The Gift of Guilt (melodic yet heavy) The Art of Dying (drumming masterclass) L'enfant Sauvage (brutal breakdown) React to the live versions of these songs if you have the time Keep rocking brother! 👊🏼
They're starting to gain appreciation :) if i remember correctly they won the best metal live performance of 2018 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That, plus they are gaining a lot of internet attention because of their last album. They are my favorite band!!!

Gojira - The Gift Of Guilt (Live at Brixton Academy, London) Gojira - Hellfest 2013 - Where Dragons Dwell Gojira - Flying Whales (Live At Brixton Academy, London)
Funny that you went back to Strapping Young Lad in your head for a minute. They were in the same genre, Progressive death metal, also Devin Townsend is featured on one Gojira song Of Blood and Salt. So yes, they are in the same wheelhouse. Monster music!!!
I'm not familiar with this band, but this song was so good. Lol... My 11 yo son watched your reaction together, and as always, you made us smile brother.🤘
Came to listen to this song because of Nik Nokturnals new heaviest D standard riffs video, looks like I'm reacting for the first time with you too. Funny this was uploaded so recently too.
Very nice! :) Here are some of my suggestions again: - Crucified Barbara - "Rock me like the devil" or "I sell my kids for Rock'N'Roll" or "The Crucifier". You love hardrock and you love ladies palying it? You'll love this! - Huntress - "Eight of Swords", "Zenith" or "Sorrow" because how many other times will you be able to see a pagan witch with a great voice, classical vocal training and a love for metal? Not much anymore because unfortunately vocalist (and heart) of the band Jill Janus sadly took her own live last year... She still left us with some really cool music worth checking out though! That voice can get pretty insane. - Arch Enemy - "Nemesis" or "Ravenous", both live in Tokyo 2008 with Angela Gossow on vocals. But please be save and wear some form of protection against demonic possession! - Bloodywood - "Ari Ari" because they are a great and unique up and coming metalband from India and totally deserve all the additional attention they can get! They mix great metal with traditional Indian instruments, rap, a powerful message and a lot of fun. It's just great! :) - Gamma Ray - "Armageddon" or "Anywhere in the Galaxy" or... just anything from them as you love great, upliftig powermetal! These guys are the German legends of this exact genre!
duuude you gotta check out He is Legend, Anything from their new album White Bat is amazing. I know this is overstated, but they have to be one of the most underrated bands of all time. Just great pure southern metal.

Funny thing, they were called Godzilla till 2000, or 2001. Which is, basically, same as Godzilla, but different. More "japanese" I believe. Listen to whatever top songs on Spotify, for example, literally whatever, they are all good.
Yes, one of my favorite bands! Love the reactions man. Would like to suggest a couple songs from Opeth again, either The Moor or Blackwater Park, Live at the Royal Albert Hall.
Gojira are aptly named; they are a force of nature! Heaviest Song of the Universe, in my opinion. Be sure to check out "Stranded" by Gojira, it shows more of their vocalists range.
Gojira was originally called Godzilla, but they changed it because of the copyright issues. Gojira is how a Japanese person would phonetically say Godzilla. Hope this info was a cool kernal of info!
I recommend 'Bleed' by Meshuggah next. Heavy as all fuck, like this and Detox are. THEN you can listen to 'Of Blood and Salt' by Gojira with Devin Townsend (guy who sang Detox) and the guitarist from Meshuggah.
TY for this review:i can only sugest 1 from a Angry/Depresed composer Tuomas Holopainen From the Nightwish album Dark passion play . 05. Master Passion Greed - Nightwish (With Lyrics) No live version/This is 1 of het most heavy Nightwish songs
Sooo, speaking of new bands right? Check out Spiritbox-The Beauty Of Suffering (Courtney LaPlante Live Performance), you gonna add another female metal singer to your crush list :)
If you think that is cool listen to "Gateways" by dimmu borgir (forces of the northern night) live with full orchestra and choir. Oslo or Wacken? Same shit.. both will blow your mind😉🤘
if you liked this then you have to listen to something I believe is better and that is meshugga bleed it's just the drums are insane in the song trust me

What fenomenale ensemble! Brutal, exact of the point - a wall of rhythm guitarlines, bassguitar sturmrumble and brutal drum thunderstorm ✌
“Jesus Christ Gojira guys, calm down!” my thoughts exactly when I first listened to this song 🤣
