    Great video, salad looks delicious! Intermittent fasting helped me with my hunger pangs. I was able to learn the difference between being hungry, and dehydrated. I lost 160 lbs and went from obese to fit. The health benefits of fasting are incredible as well!

    one tall girl to another, I hear you! I can’t eat like a bird. My salads are usually massive with a lot veggies but that’s the only way to stay full. Good job Julia!

    After my breastmilk dried up I went keto, 20g or less carbs a day and lost 10 kg in 40days. I completely lost the baby weight, and so motivated to lose more before the next baby :) I love your fit fridays and congrats on the 20 pounds!

      Currently breastfeeding. Cant wait to do what you did and get trim again. What were your meals made of?

      @@xxGuItArGiRLxx89 just a little back story I have twins so I had a lot of milk and I worked so hard to build up such a big supply but I was eating carbs and carbs all day every day to maintain that supply. I gained 3 kg during pregnancy and 7kg!!! during breastfeeding. I cut out carbs almost completely on my first keto day and not gonna lie the first few days were hell! Always hungry always craving. But from the second week I was never hungry because I was eating high fat food. Mayo, sour cream, fatty meats, eggs, cheese, salad, vegetables (except carrot beans pees potatoes... You know the starchy ones) usually one or two meals a day, and about 1400 kcal a day. I snack on peanuts sunflower seeds almonds but they are calorie dense so just carefully. I bake cakes and cookies and bread and danishes for my family but never have one and I dont even crave it. Fitting in my old jeans is more important now then 3 minutes of carb goodness :)) good luck if you start :)

    So happy you did a Mukbang!!! 2 minutes in and I love this so much! So happy your doing well! That taco salad looks so amazing! Iv been doing low carb for almost two weeks now! It’s so hard for me, or so I thought! You just have to get creative!

    Like these kind of videos. My most struggles are about the variety. I know what to eat for 2 days and then i‘m out. And i don’t want to eat the same every day.

    I too have been very focused on becoming fit. I stopped using a scale and am just using how my clothes fit. This summer I started wearing jeans shorts that hadn't fit me since 2015 so feeling super proud.

    Yesss weight training is the best. I feel like you see a big difference when you train especially big muscles, like the legs, your body still burns calories even after your done training. It feels great knowing ur getting stronger you can feel it. Good job girl keep it up💞

    I have been doing IF since Jan 2018 and incorporated keto in Jan 2019. I have been a clean eater for more than 10 years but something about IF and keto makes me feel fantastic.

    This is generally unadvised by most fitness people, but I went out and bought clothes that were too small. Like, they still fit, but they were super tight. So I got new clothes to enjoy but still got to wear them when I did end up losing the rest of the weight.

    Müde im Bett liegen und dir beim Essen zuschauen ist was feines, es sei denn der Magen ruft "Ich will auuuuch" ^^ so etwas ähnliches steht bei mir morgen auch auf dem Speiseplan, nur dass ich ein paar Tortilla Chips nehmen werde. Die lieb ich einfach zu sehr 😇

    This was such fun to watch .i make and love taco type salads . Never done CrossFit but tempted to try . I enjoy martial arts and body pump . Maybe this is next for me ?

    Congrats Julia :) I also had the same happening to me. Scale didn’t move, not a single gram but I went 2 sizes down in clothes. So I guess muscle weighs more than fat! PS: I do strength training mostly with small amount of cardio like warm up or 15min on the Crosstrainer after a lift session. :)

    Always focus on body fat vs muscle percentage and visceral fat instead of absolute weight numbers. The difference in composition makes a world of a difference.

    I have a little bike pedaler that I use when I have to sit at a computer a lot (I see them sold as a physical therapy device😀, but they are so useful for when one wants to sit and watch tv or similar). Magnesium is much better absorbed transdermally than a pill. Baths with magnesium, or magnesium oil or cream

    Yeah do more of these videos! Do you put milk in your coffee? I was never a breakfast eater, i just want to drink my coffee but i put half a glass of milk in it so i ruin the intermittent fasting, but i cant drink it without milk, is it that bad?

    Very true about supplements. However some people do need extra supplementation due to absorbtion issues.

    I think the word you were looking for is body recomposition :) you don’t lose on the scale but your losing fat/gaining muscle

    Der Salat sieht so gut aus, werde ich auf jeden Fall ausprobieren! Ich versuche gerade wieder mehr Muskelmasse aufzubauen, da ich in den letzten Monaten kaum trainiert habe. Ich kann absolut bestätigen, dass mehr Muskelmasse einen häufig schlanker werden/aussehen lässt. Ich habe vor ein paar Jahren mal stark an Muskelmasse aufgebaut, da ich einfach mal sehen wollte, wozu mein Körper fähig ist (und weil es mir emotional beschissen ging und mich ablenken wollte) und habe damals oft die Frage gestellt bekommen, ob ich abgenommen hätte. Doch in Wahrheit war, dass ich damals etwa (laut Waage) 5 Kilo zugenommen hatte.

    You look great and I love big meals too. I prefer eating 3 big meals but now that I'm pregnant everyone (doctors and nurses) are telling me that I need to eat every 2 hours and I'm never hungry so I never enjoy eating which is making me obsessed about food =/ I also don't exercise because I would run and do weights and now I can't do that too. I just do yoga and meditation and I'm losing a lot of muscle. Loved this video and thanks for sharing how you are doing

      That's weird, I've never heard that 2-hour eating rule while pregnant. All my pregnant girlfriends just ate when they were hungry. I think listening to your body's natural hunger queues is always a good idea. I would maybe get a second opinion from another doctor if you're not happy about your eating habits.
      Also I do know that a lot of women continue with some form of weight training throughout pregnancy, I think you just can't lift heavy. Maybe light weights and lots of reps? And of course avoiding anything that presses down on the stomach. Maybe try some free weights with dumbells, they can be used so many ways. Exercising throughout pregnancy, even if it's modified ways, is really good for you!

      @@juliagraf I agree. But here we have two doctors at all times because we have our personal doctor and then the maternity doctor and both said the same thing. Also, my personal doctor is pregnant so I'm seeing another doctor until she comes back and I had to see another doctor when I didn't have my personal doctor's substitute. All 4 doctors said the same and the 2 nurses. I think it's just something they say here that you have to eat small meals because you feel more full when you're pregnant. I don't eat every 2 hours but I'm eating about 8 times a day at max and when I do that I feel worse so I'll try it for a week more and next week I'll go back to eating when I'm hungry as you said. I also think that is best even more because I don't want to put a lot of weight being already overweight (eating all the time just makes me eat more and never enjoy what I'm eating). Thanks

    GIRL PLEASE tell me what you eat! i did went to the gym but.... i have to quit for financial reasons. im trying to get back with jumping rope. i know it's your eating..... and also cutting down on the sugar. so hard julia so hard to cut down on sweets and soda. what do you eat? for losing weight

      I do eat primarily low-carb (like I mention in the video) but I also try to be somewhat mindful of calories.

    Congrats on the weight loss! Do have to say coffee isn't recommended on an empty stomach, though. I used to love drinking it instead of having breakfast in the morning because it's a great appetite suppressant but had to stop after reading it can cause damage to your stomach lining when ingested without food =/

    We just returned from Switzerland. We were in the Grenchen area, but spent most of our time in a lake house. We traveled through all the local towns and cities plus Germany, France, Liechtenstein, and Austria. I have to say that I got a fantastic impression of Switzerland. Clean, beautiful, people take pride in their property, clean food, and such respect. I had no problems or issues with anyone there. Honestly, I am now embarrassed by the US. The crap that is in our food, the disrespectful, rudeness, and horrible quality in everything makes me want to move to Switzerland. It was an eye opening experience for us and we were depressed coming home. We brought back as much as we could.

    There is actually a documentary where a guy eats fast food every day and still loses weight. It's called fat head I think. I dont advise this either, but it can be done lol

    I love how you talk about " liking" the feeling of being hungry. Some people think when you feel this way you have body dysphora , anorexia to be exact . But we are human, we arent supposed to over eat or constantly feel full. I mean , we used to have to farm and hunt for food now with industrialization food is readily available all the time. We are supposed to fast people, not eat several small meals a day.

      Sadly some of my expensive Lululemon leggings are now baggy on me too 😂 well I guess they served their pupose! I bought some slightly too-tight workout leggings and now they fit fine. That way I can use them a bit longer.

      @@2269saa Ich finds einfach seltsam, man klickt auf ein Mukbang Video (sehr bekannt inzwischen was das ist) und ich sage ja ganz am Anfang das man miteindander isst, so zu sagen...und dann hinterlässt man ein nicht grad freundliches Kommentar, ich mag dir nicht beim essen zuschauen? Dann verstehe ich nicht wieso man weiterhin zusieht! Gibt ja genug andere Videos. Schön das dir meine andere Videos gefallen - super! Aber manchmal sollte man vielleicht erst überlegen bevor man kommentiert. Und wie man sagt, so wie man in den Wald hinein ruft, schallt es auch zurück. ;)

    Ugh... all these people complaining about watching you eat, uhhhmmm you clicked on a video titled “Mukbang” - that’s what it is. Also, how is someone eating triggering so much? The world is so shitty, people dying, unjust treatment of minorities etc etc etc... someone eating should be your least problem. Get real, people, don’t be this sensitive.

    Wow, I've never been more frustrated watching someone pull and readjust their shorts over and over again.

    You constantly looking at yourself in the viewfinder or laptop or whatever is super annoying and cringy and just makes you look like an amateur, which we all know you're not. Salad looks good, though.
