    In Italy we pick fruits and veggies from the supermarket wearing plastic gloves, we put the stuff in a plastic bagand then we put the price tag on the bag. When I saw you doing it barehanded and sticking the label price on the fruit I was like omfg!!! Ahahah!!! Kisses, Julia and congrats again!

    • @juliagraf
      @juliagraf 9 років тому +34

      ExhamPrioryHall There are plastic bags but I try to avoid those as much as possible because there is too much plastic garbage in the world, no need to add more when you can just wash your fruit and use a reusable shopping bag :)

    • @misskaleid
      @misskaleid 9 років тому +1

      ***** if only we coud, it's forbidden here in Italy for sanitary reasons: you've got to use plastic gloves and put veggies and fruits in plastic bags. We do use reusable plastic / cotton and biodegradable bags to carry our grocery shopping though xxx

    • @dagliocchibui
      @dagliocchibui 9 років тому +1

      misskaleid I'm Italian and I never use gloves :P it's really stupid in my opinion. Unfortunately I'm forced to use the bags, which are also really bad for the environment AND the veggies. I hate this hygiene obsession.

    • @sazermus
      @sazermus 9 років тому

      ExhamPrioryHall That's so interesting. Wondering what the reason is behind it when you go home and wash all the fruit and veggies anyways

      It's also useful to prevent people from touching all veggies and fruit bare handed... You never know hygienic level of other people I guess..

    Keep it up! Just going through your different workouts, frequency, goals, timing and meals on a regular basis is enough to keep us all inspired. I'm totally into green smoothies for breakfast at the moment and am actually craving them when I get up! Maybe you can talk about what eating healthy means to you (anything you are avoiding/reducing) and how you plan your days and weeks. Do you count macro nutrients? Do you count calories? Do you keep track? Or do you just eat real food at reasonable amounts, with more emphasis on fresh produce and limited processed or refined foods? Any insights can be motivation for us.

    Here in the Netherlands we have the same system in the supermarkets. It's so fast an ideal. I really love the fitfriday videos. I'm glad that they're back. jahukommm You know, the one I bought is super fast & easy to clean, I just rinse it under hot water and the juicer part is dishwasher safe! I was so surprised. I'm used to the size that I was originally so even when I go clothes shopping which I hate, I tend to buy things that are too big for me. I've been on a gluten free protein diet for 6 months now and it's difficult to vary the proteins without overdoing it on protein fats like cheese which I find myself craving on a low carb diet. Just wondering if you've come across that dilemma and what you suggest substituting so you feel "full" thanks!!! Hugs
