- Today I bring you my first @Warthunder video. Am I leaving @WorldofTanksModernArmor behind, no. Am I branching out? Yes. In this video I go over a couple of items that I think would greatly improve the relevance and player retention of World of Tanks Console.

Just a heads up mate, War Thunder suffers from the same greed and lack of care that World of Tanks suffers from
I played for nearly 8 years on WoT console, and I switched to War Thunder only about a year ago. I won’t be going back, you can at least use your brain to beat OP vehicles in War Thunder, it’s infinitely harder to do in World of Tanks.
Theres a new tank sim coming out soon ill be hopping onto it from wot when it comes out, supposedly no clown tanks and no premium ammo, thats a big plus to me but that could all change in future but regardless im looking forward the game

Although WeeGee denies that they ‘nerf’ tanks that we pay real money for, I liken it thusly: I’m fortunate to own a Dodge Challenger with a Hemi V8. I take it in for service, and on the way home notice that it isn’t performing as well as it use to. I then get a call from the dealership saying, “Yeah, we got a complaint from your neighbour with a six cylinder Honda Accord that his car isn’t as fast or as cool as yours, so we took the Hemi out and replaced it with a V6, hope you don’t mind because we sold your Hemi to someone else, and you can’t get it back.” Its now not the car I paid for, and doesn’t perform nearly as well as the car I paid for, and there is no recourse to get my money back.
@@robdunnett1258 that's pretty much how it happens, this situation I'm fixing to tell about isn't the same but it let me know WG is full of sht, I was in a TD and was next to a rock pile trying to snipe for my team on one side of map to slow them down, a tank on the opposing team came my way and I was unaware and it comes off the rocks next to me to try and surprise me which it did, but the tank fell and landed on its side with its under plate facing me, we all know the under plate is the weakest spot on a tank, I fired my shot into his under plate and it bounced, yes it actually bounced, it was that moment I knew wg rng was full of sht lol

Console also isn’t advertised anywhere. It does not get the same attention pc has so I think that more marketing will really help.
Played 5years on console but left last year due to all the missle tanks and way it was going. Let 360 pus days of premium run out. Still watch but dont play until it is fixed.

I agree with having bigger maps for Cold War mode. Personally I don’t play that because it seems a big yolo fest. It hasn’t grew on me yet, I’d wish WG get rid of the aim time, rng and actually have gun sites like WT. I think WT is a better game but I suck playing it because I leaned wot first and I’m handy capped. Just don’t have the patience.
Have not played WOT console in a few months, got burned out. I mainly play cold war and July 2024 will mark my 9th year. I will actually try out War Thunder and see where it goes :)

I for one love war thunder once 6.0 hit tanks I went to war thunder so I will enjoy these videos still play tanks but go back and forth now manly play war thunder more now, good points made here keep WT videos coming.
I've played War Thunder on PS5 and found its interface confusing, that there's a vast amount of stuff to sift through, the mechanics feel much more realistic and skill based as well, and while it can be frustrating, it's VERY satisfying when it starts to click. The one shot kill mechanics mean while you can do it to others, with great glee... they can do it to YOU. It goes about a similar subject in a different way, WT has three modes from memory, arcade, semi sim, and full sim.
About once a year I get curious and reload WT for a bit... the problem is my time is limited to play, so I tend to find WOT the easier "pick up and play" for a casual player like myself, and just grit my teeth through the problems.
They do it on world of warships you can melt two cameos together

I have 269 Pascucci's medals by killing 2 arty for each one , now I feel ripped off by getting the medals for only killing one 😮.........dummy downed game , no skills needed anymore 😢
Good video i play warthunder on and off do enjoy it but i have 10 years going on 11 at wot and still love it i do hope they get it straightened out keep the warthunder videos coming

I'm a bit sad it came to this. I like WOTMACW (World of Tanks Modern Armor Cold War) 😅 Especially Era 1, no missiles, not that many auto canon's. That's why I would love to see more Tier 10 vehicles in Era 1. I hope it will get better. Larger maps is one of my wishes. Hope to see more of you in WOTMA soon again. GG

I completely stopped playing World of Tanks and I’ve fallen in love with War Thunder. They’ve slowly taken any fun I’ve had away that I’d had with the arcade style of WoT, and the player base is annoying too. Especially on console, the players are either really good, or another brain dead bot in the sea of morons. I frequently come across players in War Thunder that I have engaging battles with, and sometimes I get outclassed, but I don’t mind because they’re clearly using their brain. I’m not just being over run by 6 or 7 guys because I’m the only one guarding a flank, and in War Thunder, if I play well I can either serious hinder 6/7 players push down a flank or completely halt it. It’s nice to be rewarded for being intelligent in the way you play, and WoT doesn’t do that.
It sounds to me like you’ve just got bored of the game. But for those who play casually, or are just discovering the game, it’s awesome. Perhaps you need a proper tank simulator rather than a game?
I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t wondered that about myself.
War Thunder need look after the gun barrel? Or it just a "ghost" object like WOT that can through everything?
Nothing is going to change. Every change theyve made is intended to make players buy gold or premium tanks. Slower progression, premium consumables, silver nerf, outrageous r&g... the marketing department seems to be the real devs here. Hence why they care more about OP premium tank buyers than the majority that want the quality of life gameplay. The old world of tanks is gone friends 😔
The game rewards smart game play
PREMIUMS IN WoT SHOULD HELP YOU GRIND TECH TREES. This is the exact reason I changed to War Thunder, I bought 3 premiums and grinded my way to top tier pretty easily...
I own many premiums in WoT but none of them help you grind anything. Sure, they give you XP and Silver, but you have to pay for the XP to be "FREE XP" 🙄
I love WOT console, been playing since it was Preview edittion (beta). Before 6.0 update it felt like WT, raw and hard 🙂 i dont mind new things but the game needs more fresh things, more game modes/mechanics. Im not talking about tanks with rockets, im talking about game mode where it takes not just kills but team work. Why cant we platoon in live games, before readying up platoon up like in Battlefield games you have squads, ppl join other ppl in game. Game modes where its not the same places, same tactics, same kills every single time...
Too advanced for the smooth brained devs. They would rather take a tank that already exists, slap on some new camo and call it brand new. Remove a map for a year or two and bring it back as a "new map", import tanks from cold war to ww2 and make it a "new premium"
WOT should just do a hardcore mode as a option like you have a option for ww2 and cold war
I was just going to say that. It'll be easier for them to just make a new mode then to overhaul everything.
I'd like lowering the health, increasing module damage and increasing camo/lowering detect range greatly for everything. Imagine everyone having the camo of a weasel, it'll make everything more dangerous to do.

War thunder has so many more issues than wot. I can name you 3 major ones. 1. spawn camping ruins the game. 2. `1 life players that spawn in with one tank die and leave and screw your team over. 3. CAS it literally can destroy your whole team getting bombed to death. way worse than arty in wot.

Difficult time for gaming industry. The new generations are not wasting their time on games, and they don't spend money for games. According to Microsoft CEO, the average age of Xbox players increases by one every year. This sentence alone can explains the situation of gaming industry .

Larger maps will only make the wolf-pack meta more pronounced. "Smaller" maps you can split up and still make it back to help your team. If the map is too large you can't make it back. So you have to stick together or get overwhelmed.
Warships ended up being better than 6.0 WoT…. +1/-1 matchmaking, better flow to the game…WoT is a bit stale.

If WG worry about nerfing tanks and upsetting existing customers?
Why not compensate any custoners who owned the tank before it got nerfed with in game credits or a discount voucher on any tank appon next purchase ?

What would probably save this game rn is if there was a way to make gold through playing. even if it was small amounts [like: 1 gold per battle 🤔 or even 2 per win / 1 per loss ect ] this would open soo many doors! allowing u to grind for premiums but not soo fast as to bust WG's bank. People would play way more if there was a real way to grind gold. Or let massive quantities of silver be traded for small amounts of any currency like 100,000 silver is 1 gold or 1 free xp or commander xp this too would open soooo many doors!
I got the Tiger 131 in WOT for free a week ago. I always thought it was a good tank, but now I see it's crap.
I only play WOT . I have no interest in War Thunder at all , it looks boring .
It's alright, I honestly prefer WOT though. Compared to WOT play WT game play is kinda stale

Might want to judge it from watching a high-level War Thunder player if you haven't already, rather than someone who doesn't main the game. Someone like Oddbawz or Spookston. I can definitely understand if it still looks boring. A huge portion of War Thunder is spotting enemies and not getting spotted yourself which isn't as big of a thing in WOT. And the time-to-kill being much shorter on average.

I have always hated auto aim! With just under 7 years playing, and 63k+ battles, I only tried auto aim ONCE... I hated it, thought it was absurd, and never bothered with it since.
I understand that some players feel that they "need" auto aim to be competitive, but I don't buy that reasoning because taking the time to actually learn game mechanics, map strategy, and battle tactics, etc., will massively improve a player's level of competence and competitiveness!
In my opinion, auto aim is nothing more than a "legal cheat" for lousy players to feel like they're better than they really are!

War thunder sucks sorry but it does getting one shot by anything on the battlefield is what people complain about now go to war thunder and get one shot all the time dosent make sense to me

Look in word of tanks it's got un payable losing 10 to 0 there still diapering in the game and ambushe you by reapering shot u the diapering again et the sorted and it be a much better game

The problem isn't wot, it's the hard core gamers. Here's a crazy idea, instead of changing wot how about changing your BORING one dimensional play style. I'm not lying when I say I had to quit because the game was too intense. Yet you're to damn stubborn to step out of your comfort zone.
The only part of this I agree with is they need way more skins for the tanks. That is something they could do easily and make everyone from the casual gamer to the hard core gamers happy

Not only you but many players from this group. You guys have amazing skills in lights, some of the best in the game. Yet i can show multiple videos or cherry pick facts all day showing bait scouting is better then what you call aggressive scouting. Only real difference is my tank wasn't beefed up on camo perks. Every shot that misses you is both a shot wasted and a position given away.
Then there is the stunts. I'm not saying you should push stunts the way i did. Just take the time to learn the basics for emergencies. Also put some fall protection on your tank. Don't need to be giving up sooo many hp to the ground.
