"Have you ever wanted to play a game as agonizing as being tased in your genitals?" Perfect way to describe War Thunder. We suffer, but we still voluntarily play it
@@mchammer1809 It's just not fun for me. As soon as I learned the basics of the game I switched to rb. For tanks the lack of a nametag is a core reason I even play the game and in the air you actually need to know how energy works and the strengths and weaknesses of different planes rather than having everything acting like a ufo.
@@VarvasNukka ground rb is fun in some situations, but without name tags it's just a pixel hunting game. After an hour of trying to figure out if that bush right there is actually a bush or a tank with camo it gets pretty exhausting on eyes and mind. Plus the grind is worse in rb so you get less rp/sl per unit time. Plus in rb you can only fly airplanes you unlocked in the planes tree, so if you're not interested at all in grinding air (like I am) you can forget about playing CAS. So yeah ground rb can be fun, but cons (esp grind speed) outweigh pros
@@DiveTheseClips I'll agree that grind in ground rb is atrocious. Thankfully I unlocked most of the german and soviet trees way back when it was nowhere near as bad. And that pixel hunt is exactly what I want. Rewarding positioning and making smaller tanks far more useful.
I usually love arcade videogames. BUT been playing ground RB with a friend who loves it, and after a while I find it an ok game. Even the grind is acceptable.
Biplanes are honestly so much fun, having played almost all planes Biplanes are definitely my favourite for two reasons, 1: they are so fun to fly, they turn on a dime and don't go fast enough to disintergrate themselves. 2: they require actual skill, you need to point and shoot and aim instead of just locking on with a missile and being done with it
3) They don't stall all the time (first BF 109 stock... ) 4) little occasions you get G force problems 5) they actually turn and do quick manoeuvres. I just get tricked by biplanes all the time, even with the 4 guns of the BF 109 E1
I honestly pressured myself into RB because I thought Arcade was too easy. Now I watch a man have both the time of his life and pure tradgedy in arcade. What have I missed out on

Me at the Prop Phase: "I think I can get into this game"
Me at the Jet Phase: "This video has spared me a terrible fate"
Finally, the youtube gods have graced me with a random video, of a game I've played for 6+ years, that encapsulates all the pain and joy in an 12 minute video. That isn't a 14 year old random viral video. Also, Phly was here, LETS GOOOO.
Now we just need Ground, Naval, and the final boss, Helicopters.

Congratulation on reaching 10M 🎉🎉
its a beautiful sight for the WT community 🥳
9:24 That was quite an accurate prediction of a dream I had, tho I was in my own house and the plane first did a stroke cobra manouver thing.
Wtf dude, I had the same exact dream? Did you like wake up feeling like your heart was going to explode?
@@thatch1734 Yeah, that's how nightmares works 😉
7:19 jfc that was slick.
Great editing btw, you're really good at this. Keep it up, fam.
Let’s all give this man a round of a plause for this amazing video at the cost of his suffering
i prefer square plauses.
@@gimking fair
Let's give him a round of applause for being dumb enough to choose f4c👏
bro,why do i keep watching this over and over again
3:20 every warthumder game when you play with that one friend who “forgot to get that one 10.1 tank out there line up”
I would have just played that match to see what it would be like to plag a jet gane with a biplane
2:28 Every playe has had a moment like this. One second you claim to be a god, the other second you trash talk the game.
Killing 15 in a match to get negative in the next 5 who never.
Got 6 kills the other day the next match proceeded to get obliterated by some bf109
"Have you ever wanted to play a game as agonizing as being tased in your genitals?" Perfect way to describe War Thunder. We suffer, but we still voluntarily play it
to be honest, cole is pretty great.
In all of the years War Thunder had a show, there has never been more amazing video than this.
You are right on this
Goddamn, I can't even imagine playing arcade beyond tier 2 at most.
Why not?
2: they require actual skill, you need to point and shoot and aim instead of just locking on with a missile and being done with it
What about heavy single-winged planes like the Hawker Hurricane? It’s amazingly easy to use in SB
3) They don't stall all the time (first BF 109 stock... )
4) little occasions you get G force problems
5) they actually turn and do quick manoeuvres. I just get tricked by biplanes all the time, even with the 4 guns of the BF 109 E1
I love props because its just so much fun to play
So. I'm other words.. Yoy are into "undеrаgе planes"? 🤔
@@emulation2369 I am heavily into underange planes. I love the way they move and look. I can’t get enough of them
3:18 was funny as hell lmao him spawning on an airfield full of jets in a biplane 💀
I love in which way guys who is still playing on top tier describe the experience of playing. This game is beautiful
I honestly pressured myself into RB because I thought Arcade was too easy.
Now I watch a man have both the time of his life and pure tradgedy in arcade.
What have I missed out on
I feel your pain cole, I’m also stuck in the grind and the pain for me is never gonna end.

Yup me too. Started my path to hell about 3 weeks ago. Worst choice ai ever made was to invest in this game... Hell awaits those dumb enough to sell their soul to War Thunder. I am heading to the 7th bowel of Hell for playing this game on console. I understand it's quite horrible down there, the torture is said to cause angels to give up their faith and become alcoholics and heroine addicts. I will do my best to not let all my fuel burn up before crash landing in Satan's throne just before I can drop my bombs...
@@eyespyyourspy1328 Me too
Don’t wanna sound boring but your taste is music is immaculate cuz of the fearless flyers tracks and I hugely respect that

i tried getting my friend into this game but he just hated playing low tier and didnt like the slow progression and constantly dying to sweats i on the other hand love all of it

10/10 vid. This perfectly sums up my nearly 7 years of warthunder experience. Also if you want more hell play enduring confrontation for 3 hours and still lose silver lions. It's great
everytime i return to this game i start to remember why i am in crippling debt.
4:32 for some reason this clip reminded me of how satisfying it is to successfully control an aircraft in this game when you lost tail control or your whole tail
Couldn’t tell you how much I throughly enjoyed the Ace Combat references you made in this video
i never expected you to post this. That being said thank you
It's nice to see someone combining something as good as Cory Wong music with something as marmite as war thunder. beautiful combo, well done my friend

This video pretty much perfectly sums up war thunder. Thanks for making it and I hope you enjoyed your time with us.
9:37 "A certified AIM-9G moment"
most people overlooks this game as boring, P2W and a grindfest full of uptiered matches, which is true, but when you get the grip on it, and actually learn from your mistakes, you get to love it, Sim battles with jets it's fucking awesome.

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating.
