Back then you wouldn’t know what tank the enemy has, and even if you did, how would you even decide where the weak spot is? There aren’t any protection analysis for you to see where your round can and cant pen nor an X-ray slow-mo of your round’s post pen effect on the enemy. You have to also consider the fact that a tank crew is not a single person like someone sitting on a pc. All they have were small slits to look through, and the tank’s mobility and its turret were operated by different people who couldn’t read each other’s minds, but had to communicate vocally under intense stress and heat (threat of dying + trapped in a metal box with a combustion engine no AC). The gunner couldn’t just move a mouse to point and click on a weak spot that they most likely didn’t even know about to begin with. He had to spin 2 rotating handles really quickly, while trying to adjust to what the driver is doing to avoid the entire crew dying, and to put it in our perspective, all of that while stuck in scope view btw. Irl, there is also no third person camera for you to see if you’re positioning your tank correctly. If you think it’s like in sim battles then you must not forget that the commander would have to stick his upper body out from the hatch to use that perspective, but he would then be met with the other tank’s coaxed and hull MG. What I’m trying to say is you can’t just compare WT to real life just because it’s slightly more historically accurate than other games of the same genre. English isn’t my first language so apologies in advance if any part i said didn’t make sense.
@@Anteritusyeah the Lower front plate the left and right side are the weakest points, i think it’s the weak spot on most American T series tanks as well the machine gun port
fair, but honestly... this guys machine gun port, its pretty strong, its the same as the hull Armor plus whatever 30 mm that machine gun shield is.... possibly just a little less angled
Sorry but no USA tank at this br or below is OP . It's just that many players do not know how to fight this thing. Even the jumbo 75 has had the same weaknesses since the game inception but ppl point and click tonry they can't pen. 😂

The problem with 6.7 rn is that it is uptier city 7 days a week, so you're constantly going up against tanks that have heat with 200mm+ pen
I Must have been lucky here to not face them, or kill them before they get me :)
But yeah it's painful if things have heat, but if not, its very fun!
