Actual S-tier Chad tactics:
1) Just play objectives the whole game
2) Just play SPAA to protect your teammates against CAS the whole game
I love playing SPAA in battlefield 4. I should try it in war thunder
Don't know if it's S-Tier. Using only AA on low BR to kill light and some medium Tanks. Worked well for me on BR 2.0 (I don't have any higher BR at the moment) 3 Ground kills and 7 kill assist.

When with a friend, you can do the sturmtiger + drone artillery strat.
If you want a range accurate to a dozen meters, use an IRL ruler on your screen. First, measure a distance between two map lines, divide the length on the ruler by the number of meters it is on the map, and you get the meters-per-ruler-centimeter ratio.
Whenever a target is spotted, measure the distance between the sturmtiger and the ping using the ruler, and multiply by the ratio to get the range.
Best I ever got was 3 kills with this tactic.

the crocodile churchill actually saved me once with its flamethrower, when an 88mm gun carrier sped by and my main gun was destroyed i showed them vietnam all over again.
In my case it was with the Chinese M16 MGMC. I was peeking from a wall and got shot by a TD hiding in a bomb crater on the opposite side of the road. I thought I was done for then I realized it wasn't a stug but rather one of those thin skinned Panzerjäger so I just kept spraying API until he ran out of crew.

"Fun" little update to the tactic of capturing points with aircraft. In a recent update, Gaijin removed the ability for fixed wing aircraft to decap ground points. Only helis and vtol aircraft are now capable of this form of tomfoolery, which I find honestly a travesty as it was such a joy driving an he 162 into the center of town to cap the B point.
using drones to lob HE shells cross map (and especially at the SPAA who shoot at my drone) is one of my favorite tactics in the BMD-4

I use my planes as the spotter at low br when they're out of bombs. It doesn't matter whether the MGs can hurt a tank or not when my team see the tracers pointing down they know there's a tank there. Just try to strafe as many tank as possible. The goal is not to damage them but to make them can't hide.

Gotta say rushing into battle with something nimble and doing laps around the enemy stops all of them in their tracks.

Light tanks drive-by is the best tactic to make the other guys rage quit. Especially when you can gather a few other light tanks to join the drive by shooting. Drive in, shoot their gun barrels, shoot the tracks, spot them and set their engines on fire. And if they can't be killed in time, call artillery on them and drive away before the authority arrives.
Not only was the video original and well written, it was also amazingly edited and the memes were actually funny unlike the overused ones put by many other channels.

B tier: burning broken tanks, Im talking Jumbos, the entire Swedish tech tree, Object 279s. Basically your in an engagement with them you knock out their guns first then their tracks( knee capping them) then drive up behind them and continue to set them on fire until they burn out and they can do nothing. It’s really satisfying to do this with enemy players who use batantly op tanks
God tier: team killing op planes and tanks, when Ju 288c think about returning to base I just knock them out.

@@PyroHeart106 bud... im good, im lvl 100 at tope tier, but recently ive been playing down tiers and have understood the pain of a jumbo being able to one tap you, when youve angled your armour and wiggled your turret whilst you can do little to them.. trust me I understood the importance of turrent wiggling and angling having come from tier X wot.

Up-tiering is fun with the 15cm sturmpanzer because every kill gives a lot of sl, and its hard to not kill something as long as you land the shot
Holding W is a good tactic if you already have enough SP for a plane or for a respawn, but want to be generous and give 1 kill the enemy team.

I thought you were going to mention using attack drones to snipe helos. I wouldn't call it a fun tactic but given the altitude difference there's almost nothing the heli pilot can do to avoid eating a hellfire.
eh, if the heli has laser warning they know something is aiming at them and its pretty easy to dodge

The best tactic is to spawn the fastest tank you have, rush the first cap point before your team even gets a chance to cap it, leave your tank, and spawn an airplane. Bonus points if you dont pull out a dive and kamikaze.
this is also the best tactic to have your team and the enemy hate you.

As a bonus, no need to grind and spade like at least 4 vehicles for every lineup. ... Somehow that last one makes me think that gaijin will never do it. ... For now, the planes there are just a gimmick. Like a killstreak bonus in shooters. It's basically impossible to not just research planes playing ground rb, but to spade even a bare minimum things like essential ordinance at mid br up. Anyhow, to end my ramblings... The sp costs go up sharply (or the sp gain goes down) the higher br it is. Ridiculously.

it's pretty good to me since i have yet to meet a tank that can turn faster than i can get behind them
Although I don’t play top tier, space climbing does make sense when you consider how to BVR and missile combat more generally works. By getting at a very high altitude, you missiles have a lot more potential energy and has greater range against those lower than you. The same applies to your plane as this gives you altitude that you can trade for speed when you need to dodge incoming missiles. Speaking of which, high altitudes makes it harder for you to get shot, since missiles need to fight gravity on their way to blow you up, which makes them easier to dodge.
What about sitting behind the enemy s helispawn in a heli and spawnkilling them as they spawn in, or the lvl 15 f14 players that just fire off their aim54's just to land and rearm over and over just to get maybe 1 or 2 kills. There is also the absolute chads using ir missiles to intercept stuff like the aim9l because they dont have flares.
Flanking with the Concept 3 or Sarc MkIV on any map is very fun and balanced.
I love this strategy at around 5.0 where half the German team has tigers and completely forgets to check their flanks.
I always get nervous when after me and my team cap a point, 90% of them just rush the enemy spawn and all die, leaving me and an m56 to defend against a hoard of king Tigers and IS6s
just this morning when i played ground RB with a 500% booster, some fucker with an SAV managed to sniped my plane somehow, i spawned in a second plane to kill him and he proceeded to decimate me once again, so i spawned in a tank and he managed to flanked me out of nowhere... 2 times in a row

I remember vary early in my Warthunder career I shot a plane with the main gun of my LTT reserve tank at near point blank range as it was trying to dive gun me for WAAAY to long.
Ripped a wing off and watched it fly over me at Mach Jesus while laughing my ass off as it crashed into a tree.
I once rushed the enemy spawn in a BT-5 and got stuck for 5 minutes while being watched by a enemy panzer 3
My strategy are just use the vehicle as what it said on the doctrine.
I mean, they design the vehicle this way for a reason.
Of course being video game this surely wasn't a best idea but it work reasonably well.

I mean even IRL, they realized that the ZSU-57-2 was absolutely garbage to shoot at aircraft but excellent at shooting anything on the ground that isn't the front of MBTs. It's not exactly to use the vehicles according to their intended doctrine but rather using them like how they were used in real wars.

@@aluxtaiwan2691 Crusader is underrated. I don't care how little post penetration damage it has, most light tanks don't have proper post pen damage anyway. The ability to penetrate anywhere you want is much more important in a light tank.
@@minhducnguyen9276 I was talking about the AAA version tho, but yeah the normal 40mm one still got very good reload rate, high pen, even lower br, and even faster than the AA version. Really is an underrated vehicle.

I like to use a funny little tactic with the m22 and bushes, I hide in plain sight on the enemy teams point and wait for an over powered tank just to zoom by and get reduced to atoms.
Me zooming past tier v tanks with an M22 and getting a kill is always fun. And so is flanking the enemy every single game and either getting absolutely decimated by the team camping at spawn or getting three kills and an assist on unsuspecting Shermans
I once decapped a point using a jet but I was too damaged and too fast to fully capture it 😂

You forgot to mention to use a friend for cover your weaknesses. Like you can use low profile good armored vehicle to cover weak spot of other tank with higher profile. And it will be actualy a double gun with good defence capabilities team against one-2 enemy.
The first Tanks ever deployed were at the battle of Yerps at 1916. The tanks were the British mk.4 also know as „Big Willy”. The tank shown in the are the Renout FT assault tank.

space climbing in real life helps because missiles travel further distances from higher altitudes mostly because of the thin air idk if this is implemented but the difference is pretty big so it should be if its not

Good anti - bomber tactic: Usually most bombers don’t have gunners under them, so fly lower than the altitude the target is at, then approach and it will let their guard down since the turret gunners aren’t reacting. After this, align yourself behind them, get to their altitude and start firing away
Every time my team is too wimpy to spearhead a empty point, with 2 tanks behind the hills, and when i try to spearhead, everyone leaves me to die imgoinginsanehelphelphelphelp

glad you mentioned that stupid helo strat of sitting in the back of the map where you are basically untouchable from ground players is a cheap strat. You got people like hunter who will go out off their to defend it and say that it takes lots of skill and whatever other nonsense.
Sometimes i just get distracted and when i start payijg attention its like "oh shit im in the enemy spawn" before attempting to escape and getting shot between my cheeks

D tier is shooting over your teammate's shoulders in air battles to kill an enemy they were already going to kill.
Goes to F-tier if:
- there are more than one teammates queueing for one kill
- you team kill
- you both get jumped by an enemy you would have seen if you weren't a greedy chode
- you wind up following the enemy deep into base and by the time the kill is secured the rest of your team is in the hangar

Going high into the sky is effective for catching enemy fighters and bombers though only works once or twice in ww2 since it will take a long time to climb and the enemy will probably be chasing you

Scummy move in S-tier:
Bringing PE-8 or Lancaster with big boom to sim ground. Because you can spawn in the air right away without the need for spawn points, u can get pretty good frags if you're fast enough
What about reverse gear on some tanks? On the IS-1, IS-2, this constantly saved me. Their sides and front are easy to penetrate and one shot, but if you turn around, only the engine will be damaged.
A tier tactic: using some fast wheeled vehicle to do some initial D bullshit on an MBT, track them, and leave

i played with you a few days ago you were in the g-lynx great flying.
TLDR: Big altitude on jet = less fuel + max speed on big big map.
As an air simulator player I do find use in climbing to space in 9.7 or 10.7 planes, as when I am out of missiles and 10 to 15 minutes of fuel left on Denmark or another extremely large map, I can just climb to space with no ordinance for extra speed to get to base fast, with minimal fuel loss.
Because I pass my time in cockpit view a lot, I have noticed on my instruments that the higher a jet is, the less fuel they use, to the point that in 12000m of altitude they full afterburner uses as much fuel as 100% or less in sea level altitude. This means I can go faster than some entry level missiles (mach 1.70+) for the expense of 6 to 8 minutes of fuel. This speed is hard to match with planes will a full tank + missiles still on them, so It's safe. The problem is in 12.0, where the long range radar missiles just don't care, the higher you are, the better their range. So I do not recommend this in top tier.
This does not work for prop planes. I tried it out, the fuel consumption stays the same.
On a side note, I do think Gaijin should add for top tier enduting confrontation only maps twice as big or bigger than our current biggest maps, to force jets to use this fact to actually manage to get to battle. This way we should be able to kill the "hug the ground" mentality on top tier jets, that can get annoying.
Triple S tier: taking a helo in an unsuspecting spot, land it and shut engines off, blend in with the environment, and then butcher any tank that rolls by you. Take off and repeat. (Only works in realistic and modern cities)
Bomb cycling - bombing and rearming, going again and again. I'm usually not patient enough to do that but it can be insanely OP with a PE-8, lancaster, he-111 anything with a big bomb

the only time revenge bombing is ok is for those who sit at one spot or in the back of the map waiting the whole match to kill a single tank.

Another tactic is spawn in a fighter in ground battles and take out tunnel visioned enemy bombers and strike planes, airborne anti air (very fun)
