  • As a busy mom of a toddler and an infant, I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t want to devote tons of time and effort into styling my hair. Sometimes it’s really nice to split up the washing and the styling- making the process more manageable.
    If you’re feeling overwhelmed and you’re able to try this method, I really hope it helps!

    Hey everyone! An editing error was just pointed out to me that I want to address-
    I rinse out my Garnier conditioner completely before adding leave in!
    Not sure how that part got cut out lol

    • @susie_withe_sass
      @susie_withe_sass 2 роки тому

      This might sound dumb.... But do you leave the leave in in or rinse that out too? I thought the process was to style later, but leave ins can affect my hair when styling. So I'm curious how this works!

    That’s a really good tip to not scrunch your hair against your head! I think I do that without realizing and a lot of my scalp irritation comes from getting product on my head!

    • @JordanFaith

      Thank you! I feel like it can happen unintentionally at a lot of points throughout the styling process so I try to be conscious of it and I’m glad I mentioned it here :)

    I love the middle part on you! Also your hair looks beautiful when it’s dried brushed out like that. It looks like a hot roller style or round brush blowout.

      Thank you so much!! ❤️ If I hadn’t planned to film this wash now, style later video I probably would have just worn it brushed out- I wanted to say that in the voiceover even but I was distracted by the middle part haha!

    I have done the same, wash and condition in the evening, go to bed with dry hair, rewet in the morning with my handheld shower head over the bathtub. I will add a bit of leave in conditioner if needed, add stylers diffuse, and root clip...a real timesaver in the morning.

    Your hair looks fabulous . I’ve been doing the curly thing for 2 months & am almost ready to throw in the towel & not do anymore plopping . Lol The hair on top o& my ahead has no volume . My back hardly curls & the rest looses the curl easily . My hair is layered , sort of a bob , with the sides being jaw length . Not sure if my technique needs more work or if I’m doing something wrong . I’m using Lus / curl smith products . My hair is wavy but there are areas where I have 2c & 3 a curls . But not many . Any suggestions you ma6 have would b3 appreciated.

    my question is is do you wash your hair once a week or twice a week and how do you Curl on the fourth or fifth day?

    • @JordanFaith
      @JordanFaith  2 роки тому +1

      It really depends on the week whether or not I make time to wash twice or just once. My waves stretch out a bit as the days go on and I typically keep my hair in a ponytail so I don’t mind, but I do have a refresh video here on my channel that shows one way I bring some spring back into them on the days after washing!
      I actually just finished filming a new refresh routine as well, so if you want to subscribe you can so you don’t miss that one when it’s published :)

    I really need to stop watching these videos, bought more curly hair products. 🤣🙊 Was at Target earlier today and saw the Avocado Garnier Fructis one min mask, so ya know I got it. Thanks for that, Jordan. The slip was great and works great as a leave in too. I clarified before using the mask.
    Here is what else I got:
    Harry's Sculpting Gel
    Wetline gel (the BIG tub, lol)
    Not Your Mother's Royal Honey & Kalahari Desert Melon shampoo and conditioner
    Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Souffle
    Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo
    Garnier Fructis Avocado one min mask
    Not Your Mother's Curl Talk masque
    Went to Food Lion and got more things:
    Not Your Mother's Activated Bamboo Charcoal and Purple Moonshine shampoo and conditioner
    Maui Moisture Shea Butter shampoo and conditioner
    Maui Moisture Hibscus Water shampoo and conditioner
    Not Your Mother's Way To Grow leave in conditioner
    Last week I went to Marshalls and got the Dippity Do Girls With Curls gelee, mousse and curl cream. There are two curl creams, one is CGM approved and another is not. I did get the shampoo, conditioner and leave in, but those were returned as I didn't like them...plus the conditioner had silicone in it. 😣
