No offense to your profession at all.... I truly appreciate your service.
But I've listened to a lot of 911 calls and in my view there is a desperate need for more empathy training for operators.
I've heard some absolutely absurd responses. Sometimes it seems like they are just reading a scripted response or completely misunderstanding plain english.
One thing I wonder frequently is why do they always say to the caller "Calm down" in a angry tone...to callers that are hysterical?
The last thing someone that's manic or in fight or flight responds to, is someone yelling at them to calm down. It's psych 101
As an example...If someone's holding a decapitated baby ....they are not going to calm down.
Saying that in an aggressive way...only makes it harder to do so.
      It should sound more like:
"Breath. Ma'am... I need you to take a deep breath okay. I'm here. These questions are not slowing down the response...they are on the way....now try to take a deep breath and tell me where you are"
Telling someone to breath has a more effective response.

Your kid is missing and he’s gloating about how great the media is on covering it…how is that not strange to people? I don’t know what the heck is up with this event however I somehow clicked on a video of a news helicopter circling over what was claimed to be Brian’s parent’s house. I noticed it was one house from the end of the block with no houses across the street and the street circled around to the other side which was the back of the homes no other houses directly behind them. It was about a 30 min video which showed lots of vehicles and people walking. However the next day there were on the ground videos of the fbi or police going in a home that claimed to be Brian’s parent’s home however the area in this video did not look even remotely close to the same that I had seen in the previous video. I even went back and watched some of it again because it was so weird but just confirmed what I remembered. As I mentioned I don’t know what is up but things just don’t make sense in this matter to me. It is odd they’d redact so much and makes me wonder why.

When his lawyer made a statement on his behalf, he stated, "we hope shes returned to her family," if he was innocent, wouldn't they hope she'd be returned to her fiance' and family? Just a little lawyer jargon I noticed. Bryan didnt say he wanted her back, just to be returned home to her family. She was living with the Laundries. Boy, they're a stellar bunch, huh? My kids know I've worked truly hard to have moral fibers weaved through the whole clan, so if they do something to harm themselves or someone else is the only time I'll get up in their business.
Hopefully this will never happen with them, but if it ever does, you can BET I would march their ass straight up to the parents to explain exactly every last moment of their child's life and face the cashing of the check their ass wrote.
Wouldn't be no, "go hide, I'll take care of it," bc if they're big enough to sacrifice this many people's whole lives at the alter of their ego, they'd use their whole chest to explain, too.
All of that to say, how lucky that whole family was that this girl was trying to be a proper partner, but their son's unchecked antisocial behavior was unbridled. How unlucky was she that his parents didnt somehow shed light on his poor impulse control, constant self superiority, and temperament. This doesn't happen overnight and they knew he had a temper and she'd be trapped alone with him.
Idk why the police are so sure he was ever back...just bc the van made it back.
This is what happens when you model a complete disregard for empathy and acts of service that promote empathy.
Their brains work backwards. Their operating systems got wired to enjoy pain, evil, bc they nurtured those thoughts instead of extinguishing them. Then, they must behave that way to get the feel good chemicals all humans have, but normally dont abuse. They're straight addicted to all the terrible things that attack our adrenals and cause so much distress in the world.

I can't help but feel like he was fishing to make sure she wasn't giving the police information that was going to get him in trouble. A witness saw him slap her and because he was calm and she was emotional, Brian was able to laugh it off as a spat over her being a neat freak. He's the one bleeding... I think he's trying to make sure she doesn't go to jail. People are quick to judge when it comes to a man and a woman getting in a physical altercation. Him trying to put distance in between them might have been perceived as him hitting her when it was the other way around. Women can be just as wicked and violent as a man can. Again, he's the one bleeding and she is clearly ill. He was close to being blinded by that scratch. I think she might have had serious mental problems. BPD/narcissist if I had to guess. The guy has a lot of the markers of someone living in a hostile and abusive environment. He fears her and says she crazy horrified she might hear. He's almost happy the cops showed up, she's terrified, hyperventilating. Frantically trying to play the cute card not making any sense. If anything she's probing the cops for what they know. The cop sees right through it and knows from experience who the psychopath/BPD/narcissist is. In most states the cops have to take her in. She was the obvious aggressor.
If I had to guess they were out in the woods, she tried to attack him and he pushed her away just like he had to in the car, she falls and bumps her head, next thing he knows is she's not breathing. We know she likes to throw phones. He fled to call you his family for advice and that's where it stops. I watched my drunk neighbors fight in their backyard for years. The old lady must have gone to jail 100 times for it. Woman can be aggressive and men are much stronger. Don't stay in an abusive relationship if you don't want this end. This story has been told a million times, by all kinds of people. I can't wait to see what happens in court. Manslaughter, I'd bet!

I’ve watched enough crime videos and his demeanor is definitely that of a guilty party. He refuses the water and apologizes multiple times (guilty people tend to do this in order to get law enforcement to think better of them). She is being very candid and open while he was constantly downplaying his part, “I pushed her, well I mean no, I didn’t push her, I was just trying to create distance.” The man on the 911 call clearly says that he saw Brian slapping her. Imagine if we had the resources to bring a therapist/social worker in to help solve disputes like this. I know the officers here did a great job but they can only devote so much time to one case.

Her dad says that was Her van and in her name. Therefore he had no right to keep the keys from her or lock her out. Also he said they had previously made another long trip together before this one and that one didn't have any issues as far as he is aware. Thanks for covering this. Justice for Gabby 🌹

My wife was in a previous marriage with a woman beater and said if the police were ever called he would scratch his face up so it looked like she was the aggressor. Looks like the exact situation she told me about. 🤔he will get what he deserves in prison, much worse then some self inflicted scratches

he was able to inflict similiar marks onto gabby so it's definitely possible that they were self inflicted

Could be defensive marks from Gabbi.

Protip: If you’re caught abusing your girlfriend and she’s crying in a cop car, maybe don’t smile while you tell the police what a great guy you think you are...after trying to evade the police
