  • This JCS inspired true crime documentary is surrounding the absolutely bizarre case of Kimberly Kessler. This case has been resolved very recently, with the verdict only being announced on December 9th. From missing person to Identity thief, to murder suspect, the Kimberly Kessler case is definitely a strange one.

Many coworkers stated that they believed that Joleen Cummings was beginning to question Kimberlys identity and whether or not she was who she said she was. It is presumed that Joleen was going to look further into Kimberlys claims of being Jennifer Sybert in the days leading up to the murder.

Yeah 25 years and she was researching taxidermy shit, she killed lots of people for sure. And unlike all those other cases, like the Chandler Halderson who killed/dismembered his parents after getting caught lying about getting into college and tried to burn their bodies, cases where people bury bodies etc, she was smart and used the trash bins, unfortunately for her on video though(and if she did it before in other places other years, even if there was security footage, those tapes would be gone now). Notice they didn't recover the body and just have video. Stephen McDaniel got caught using trash bins, but only because one of the multiple bags hadn't already been picked up/was found still in the trash bin in the parking lot of the apartments, they never recovered the rest of her body disposed in other bins. Similarly with Joleen, body never found, just video and blood evidence. The Chandler Halderson example, before his parents were noticed missing, trash pick up had happened, was mentioned in the trial stuff for some reason. There would have been all the blood evidence(which there was a lot of, he would have been found guilty still) but not the bone fragments if he just used the trash bins(Chandler was not only cold hearted but an idiot, he spent all that time chopping up his parents and trying to burn their bodies in the fire place for no reason, could have thrown them in the trash bin, trash was picked up before parents reported missing). It's always is bizarre to me the lengths people go to dispose of bodies. Like the creep in Canada who used the drainage system till pipes were clogged and then the other tenants called the plumber. All these murder cases of people caught on youtube, either body left at the scene, or elaborate way to dispose of the body. Almost never do you see cases like these where trash bin is used and have the footage of the trash bin. Serial killers would get away with it more often if they just did it before trash pick up day where there aren't cameras, by far the easiest way to dispose of bodies from all the JCS inspired stuff and first 48 stuff I've seen aside from killing someone in a remote location. I've seen all sorts of bizarre ways to dispose of bodies on these true crime things, where it's blatantly obvious from Kimberly and Stephen's cases, trash bins(as long as your not on camera and trash is picked up soon after) are the easiest, never seen any stories where bodies recovered from after trash pick up. Shit there was that one creep that killed all his kids and drove around a week figuring out what to do with their bodies and just dumped them somewhere random. Murderers in general are morons, stupid to kill people. But always just blows my mind why they do all sorts of weird shit to dispose of bodies.

This happened in my hometown, and let me tell you first hand it has been tragic to watch this case unfold. I’ve known Joleen Cummings mom, and her family, my entire life and no words can describe this mothers love for her child. And the fact she will never have her daughters body to bring home? Disgusting. A guy I work with was on Kimberly’s jury; there is no way I could be impartial during the trial so I commend him. It’s heartbreaking, but also so inspiring to see the community rally around the Cummings family. We talk about “the killer” and “the motive” and the 5 W’s, but not as often the victim. Kimberly Kessler is a seasoned, cold blooded, killer, and no one should give a second thought about what is going to happen to her after her sentencing. I’m tired of seeing her face, hearing her yell profanities at our government officials, and hearing (or the lack there of) her excuses. It’s sickening. She deserves to be forgotten.
All that being said, well done on the coverage of this case. Factual and to the point 👏🏽 I love your channel

    So I have some questions...
    1. What was the motive?
    2. What did she need the zip ties for? (it doesn't seem like they were used). Did she just google "kill kit"?
    3. What's with the Google search for plastination? Why would she want to preserve the body in any way, shape or form?
    4. Why wasn't she given the death penalty? Because of her supposed mental health issues?
    5. Did she literally just throw the body parts into a dumpster right by the place of the crime, and yet the cops didn't find the remains? All the lengths that people usually go to, when hiding bodies, and she got rid of the body just by tossing it in the nearest dumpster?
The motive could be that the victim discovered some information about the murderer, given how many secrets she had; or caught her stealing from the salon, or something like that. But the rest makes it sound more like the work of a serial killer, with the whole kill kit, and weird interest in preserving human remains, and when the cop said he was 100% sure she's killed before.

Her motive was a new identity. I think she suffers from some sort of disassociation-not to say she is incompetent of course. Disassociation is why she left her identity behind and kept travelling around, adopting new identities for 25 years. She might have thought Jennifer resembled her a little and she could take her identity and move on. It would have been very interesting to learn more about her life BEFORE she decided to up and leave, I mean what happened to her? Maybe she killed someone there too and decided to live the rest of her life as a fugitive. It was an interesting case.

The american dream is something that existed a long time ago, where you could come here and buy a big piece of land cheap, get jobs, be successful, etc. Now, every piece of land is already owned, or is very expensive, sold by corps, jobs pay less, etc,... because everyone came here for that same dream, and such things can only last for so long.

The American Dream of "if you just work hard enough, you'll succeed and live a wonderful life!" has almost never been true, but it certainly isn't NOW. If you work hard enough it still won't be enough because everything keeps increasing in price except for wages, landlords figured out it's more profitable for them to just own empty homes and businesses and then sell them later, and the people who have it good just tell you that you aren't trying hard enough if after working for 50 years you're still struggling but also these people are the ones who will take a gigantic shit on you if you have the audacity to look tired at your third job.

Unfortunately the teacher said it only applied to the boys because the girls had to concentrate on cooking and sewing so we could be good wives. It was still legal to beat up your wife as well. The bites itched so bad that me constantly rubbing on them ( to prevent scratching myself raw ) led to bruising. I looked it up at the time and from what I read I think Im mildly allergic to them, that's why it caused me to rub so much and bruise yada yada blah blah blah. So yes, bedbugs can cause bruising, but they usually don't. It's usually just a minor inconvenience, a little itch like a mosquito bite or whatever. That's how it affected my husband. Incredibly sad story, I always hate when victims like Jolene 's Mom have to experience further torture by having to BEG psychos to disclose info.
