- This JCS inspired true crime documentary is surrounding the absolutely bizarre case of Kimberly Kessler. This case has been resolved very recently, with the verdict only being announced on December 9th. From missing person to Identity thief, to murder suspect, the Kimberly Kessler case is definitely a strange one.

Many coworkers stated that they believed that Joleen Cummings was beginning to question Kimberlys identity and whether or not she was who she said she was. It is presumed that Joleen was going to look further into Kimberlys claims of being Jennifer Sybert in the days leading up to the murder.

Shes the type of criminal dummy that keeps me working! Lol (being a cop & all, the dumber the better) In all seriousness, this woman is evil & I agree with that Sheriff. This wasn’t her first murdery rodeo
Psychopath was running wild for 25 years. Definitely not her first murder
💯
Most probably killed Jennifer, she is dead and this nut was running wild with her identity.
nah.
too many avoidable errors.
the victim, in this case, probably figured out that the subject wasnt quite right, and didnt know what to do or say, to keep herself safe
Yeah 25 years and she was researching taxidermy shit, she killed lots of people for sure. And unlike all those other cases, like the Chandler Halderson who killed/dismembered his parents after getting caught lying about getting into college and tried to burn their bodies, cases where people bury bodies etc, she was smart and used the trash bins, unfortunately for her on video though(and if she did it before in other places other years, even if there was security footage, those tapes would be gone now). Notice they didn't recover the body and just have video. Stephen McDaniel got caught using trash bins, but only because one of the multiple bags hadn't already been picked up/was found still in the trash bin in the parking lot of the apartments, they never recovered the rest of her body disposed in other bins. Similarly with Joleen, body never found, just video and blood evidence. The Chandler Halderson example, before his parents were noticed missing, trash pick up had happened, was mentioned in the trial stuff for some reason. There would have been all the blood evidence(which there was a lot of, he would have been found guilty still) but not the bone fragments if he just used the trash bins(Chandler was not only cold hearted but an idiot, he spent all that time chopping up his parents and trying to burn their bodies in the fire place for no reason, could have thrown them in the trash bin, trash was picked up before parents reported missing). It's always is bizarre to me the lengths people go to dispose of bodies. Like the creep in Canada who used the drainage system till pipes were clogged and then the other tenants called the plumber. All these murder cases of people caught on youtube, either body left at the scene, or elaborate way to dispose of the body. Almost never do you see cases like these where trash bin is used and have the footage of the trash bin. Serial killers would get away with it more often if they just did it before trash pick up day where there aren't cameras, by far the easiest way to dispose of bodies from all the JCS inspired stuff and first 48 stuff I've seen aside from killing someone in a remote location. I've seen all sorts of bizarre ways to dispose of bodies on these true crime things, where it's blatantly obvious from Kimberly and Stephen's cases, trash bins(as long as your not on camera and trash is picked up soon after) are the easiest, never seen any stories where bodies recovered from after trash pick up. Shit there was that one creep that killed all his kids and drove around a week figuring out what to do with their bodies and just dumped them somewhere random. Murderers in general are morons, stupid to kill people. But always just blows my mind why they do all sorts of weird shit to dispose of bodies.
@@vvsdiamonds7746 bro i promise people can be into taxidermy and not be serial killers

I sure hope they’re looking more into her past and where all she’s been over the years Bc I have a feeling Jolene wasn’t the first person she ever murdered. 🤷🏻♀️
I was thinking the same immediately! Especially when she was Googling the victim over 400 times? Was she trying to become her?!?
I agree. That's not normal the way her family wasn't bothered when she disappeared. I'm always surprised when victims are discovered so soon, after being like an hour late for work. I honestly believe even I would be reported missing in less than 4 years!

“Well, I know you’re not gonna like this but, I want legal counsel…”
She’s right, I did not like that.
This happened in my hometown, and let me tell you first hand it has been tragic to watch this case unfold. I’ve known Joleen Cummings mom, and her family, my entire life and no words can describe this mothers love for her child. And the fact she will never have her daughters body to bring home? Disgusting. A guy I work with was on Kimberly’s jury; there is no way I could be impartial during the trial so I commend him. It’s heartbreaking, but also so inspiring to see the community rally around the Cummings family. We talk about “the killer” and “the motive” and the 5 W’s, but not as often the victim. Kimberly Kessler is a seasoned, cold blooded, killer, and no one should give a second thought about what is going to happen to her after her sentencing. I’m tired of seeing her face, hearing her yell profanities at our government officials, and hearing (or the lack there of) her excuses. It’s sickening. She deserves to be forgotten.
All that being said, well done on the coverage of this case. Factual and to the point 👏🏽 I love your channel

Remarkably rare to actually see a suspect request legal counsel and not talk. It's like spotting a rare bird. Lol Edit: It's crazy how many people took what I said literally. I guess things really do get lost in text. Yes, I know it's not "actually like a rare bird". Yes, I also realize that videos of suspects clamming up are rare because nobody wants to watch a video of nothing. 😁
I guess it's survivorship bias. It's not interesting to make interrogation videos with people who ask for attorney :)
Well, she didn't change her identity 18 times to just blab to the cops first chance she gets
@@BitcoinMotorist
It boggles my mind how people like her manage to live in a separate reality almost.
If I tried changing my name even legally it would be a process.
How did she manage to do so 17 times, work under different names, get papers and IDs?
Stop, look, up in that interrogation room……it’s the rare humming criminal. It’s never speaks only hums a quiet tune!!!
@@abelis644 there’s a book called The Paper Trip, written by a guy who’s friends we’re drafted into the Vietnam war and he wanted to teach them how to change their names and identities to avoid being drafted. There’s actually interviews with the author here on UA-cam, it’s very fascinating all the ways you can legally change your identity, granted his book was written decades ago and times have changed but still it’s interesting stuff
The "professional" chef incorrectly holding the knife in that stock footage is the most disturbing part of the this video.
That was painful to see.
That got me, too 😅
time stamp?
Lol and when they were slicing the cucumber they were chopping the slices because they hadn’t moved them
My friend who went to school for culinary arts just recently taught me about not using a finger when cutting. That used to be me 😭
So I have some questions...
1. What was the motive?
2. What did she need the zip ties for? (it doesn't seem like they were used). Did she just google "kill kit"?
3. What's with the Google search for plastination? Why would she want to preserve the body in any way, shape or form?
4. Why wasn't she given the death penalty? Because of her supposed mental health issues?
5. Did she literally just throw the body parts into a dumpster right by the place of the crime, and yet the cops didn't find the remains? All the lengths that people usually go to, when hiding bodies, and she got rid of the body just by tossing it in the nearest dumpster?
The motive could be that the victim discovered some information about the murderer, given how many secrets she had; or caught her stealing from the salon, or something like that. But the rest makes it sound more like the work of a serial killer, with the whole kill kit, and weird interest in preserving human remains, and when the cop said he was 100% sure she's killed before.
Or she wanted to steal her identity?
She killed joleen because she knew she wasn’t who she was saying she was and she told Kim she was going to look more into it
She did it to not be widely found a liar
@@kimberleesara9486 I believe you are correct. It does kinda seem like a weak motive but if she has killed before then it's not that much of a stretch.
To answer OP, she probably googled plastination because a previous search used the word and she didn't understand what it was.
@@cbracing808 I’m sure that’s why she left home and all this started to begin with. She had killed before.
The remains might not have been found due to the schedule of the garbage pickups.. maybe the dumpsters were emptied out that same day or soon after
I believe that if she got away fast enough and changed her name again they never would've caught her. They were trying and failing to catch her for decades apparently. Wish we knew her motive or what she was running from/wanted for. I don't believe this was her only kill either, would be interesting what a profiler has to say about her
I bet she started running to become a serial killer
Probably jealousy. The last one anyways. A younger prettier girl just annoyed her. Motive enough for a salty psycho bitch anyways.
there are numerous videos posted that go through her life in more detail.
@@ganiniii thanks for the detailed info
I agree... hope there's a follow up video on this eventually aye 😀👍 from NewZealand 🌸
Her motive was a new identity. I think she suffers from some sort of disassociation-not to say she is incompetent of course. Disassociation is why she left her identity behind and kept travelling around, adopting new identities for 25 years. She might have thought Jennifer resembled her a little and she could take her identity and move on. It would have been very interesting to learn more about her life BEFORE she decided to up and leave, I mean what happened to her? Maybe she killed someone there too and decided to live the rest of her life as a fugitive. It was an interesting case.
Also - Her motive for killing Joleen was that Joleen told a co-worker that she knew "Jen" wasn't who she said she was and was going to do more research and check it out further. Kim didn't want Joleen to do that, of course. Joleen was gonna expose her lying ass to everyone.
do you mean dissociation
that is not characteristic of any dissociative disorder
Nah the cocaine but she mentioned was likely in ref to herself. Jolene was probably gonna report her ass, that’s why Kim killed her. Probably wanted to assume her identity too, as an added bonus. But it sounds like a spur of a moment kill + resentment/anger with the whole plastination search up. Like a trophy of some sort. Anyway, the situation reminds me of that Lululemon murder
Imagine that an armchair psychiatrist doesn't know shit about shit.

The american dream is something that existed a long time ago, where you could come here and buy a big piece of land cheap, get jobs, be successful, etc. Now, every piece of land is already owned, or is very expensive, sold by corps, jobs pay less, etc,... because everyone came here for that same dream, and such things can only last for so long.
Sorry, Your wrong. I dunno where your from, but your people had lots of excuses. Life was MUCH harder for people than it is now. Owning a home is attainable if that is your goal. The difference is that everyone wants to start out with everything rather than having patience and perseverance and being stable. Also the people who have all the power now are fighting to keep us peasants in line. Some of them don't even want to pay to fix the roads! The American Dream of "if you just work hard enough, you'll succeed and live a wonderful life!" has almost never been true, but it certainly isn't NOW. If you work hard enough it still won't be enough because everything keeps increasing in price except for wages, landlords figured out it's more profitable for them to just own empty homes and businesses and then sell them later, and the people who have it good just tell you that you aren't trying hard enough if after working for 50 years you're still struggling but also these people are the ones who will take a gigantic shit on you if you have the audacity to look tired at your third job.

Consistently impressed by the quality of this channel, but I am a little dissapointed in the lack of captions. George Carlin certainly achieved it.
I miss George, there will never be another comedian like him. Glad I saw him while he was alive.
The poor mother.... I'm glad you covered this case it was a big one it's good to know she's in jail and paying for her crimes.
As an old lady living in an English village I remember similar words to the American Dream being told to us in class at school. Unfortunately the teacher said it only applied to the boys because the girls had to concentrate on cooking and sewing so we could be good wives. It was still legal to beat up your wife as well. That law didn't change until the 1970s. I visited New York when I was in my 60s and I thank God that things have changed. And I loved America, American people and everything to do with the USA.
I think you really shouldn't love EVERYTHING. I mean there's tons of stuff to hate, like how our public transportation is shit basically everywhere except New York City, or the huge amount of mass shootings, or the systemic oppression of minorities including Native Americans who are basically shat on by the government even though their ancestors were here longer than any of ours, or how the two main political parties are basically either fighting to keep the other party from ever doing anything to help the country, OR are bending over backwards to compromise with the other party so either way the people get screwed over. AND we don't even have any comedy panel shows here.
I didn't rate America until I went to New York. Florida is awful, California is pretty but some of the people arent great. Boston was ok but it wasn't spectacular. I've travelled all over and I wouldn't go back to America. Australia and New Zealand, definitely. I think it's really only Americans who think it's so amazing there because a lot of them haven't been outside it

I’m glad that the murderer was caught and convicted but there are SO many unanswered questions. I mean she googled Joleen over 400 times. Is she just a focused kook or… wtf? Why did she abandon her previous identity? 17 cities in 20 years? What was she running from?
Sounds like she may have had some sort of romantic/sexual fixation on Jolene? Though that's just a guess as it seems no clear motive has ever been officially established or suggested.
@@hollystiener16 It’s probably not known she’s a bloody repetitive liar you cannot make a video like this based on the accounts of a liar. You need proof.
One of the queries was "Joleen Documentary"? Bitch, you just killed her 7 days ago, there's no documentary.
I wonder of she was the stalker and believed she had incredible Internet skills shown by her 400 searches. Or she wanted tk know everything about her to take her identity. Worth comparing her previous names for lost people with simular names.
Why was she on the run? Wonder what other crimes she has perpetrated. And I guess we will never know why she killed the young mother. Thanks for the post.

genuinely got bruises from mosquito bites sometimes cause I'm allergic and I'll sometimes scratch them open because it itches so bad, or I scratch them open in my sleep. However, I still think that even as someone who has had the occasional bloody scratch from an insect bite it's definitely a weird explanation.
Same my daughter's bestie gets big bruises from mosquito bites.
My younger daughter tends to scratch them until she bleeds. But I doubt what she had looked like that.
And they feel so baaaad when you get in a hot bath 😣 🦟
I stayed at a hotel one time that unfortunately had bed bugs. First time I had ever dealt with them! Nasty little suckers!!! The bites itched so bad that me constantly rubbing on them ( to prevent scratching myself raw ) led to bruising. I looked it up at the time and from what I read I think Im mildly allergic to them, that's why it caused me to rub so much and bruise yada yada blah blah blah. So yes, bedbugs can cause bruising, but they usually don't. It's usually just a minor inconvenience, a little itch like a mosquito bite or whatever. That's how it affected my husband. Like a mosquito. For me it was terrible, lol. So yeah, that's my pointless input from a random nobody online, lol 😆
Even when it bleeds a lot for an insect wound, it doesnt bleed more than like... a 3mm cut or something
The interrogator sounds like Dr. Phil 😂
That opening statement was so Hollywood I did not know what to expect.
So what parts of the body went to her storage garage? Her fingernails were in there, but her body was disposed of? The motive is also still confusing to me.

For those interested, you can get bruise-like marks from bed bug bites. I slept in a bed in a farm once and I got these black and blue bumps around my ankles and they itched super bad
Scrolling through the comments on these true crime videos is almost as interesting as listening to the videos themselves. I almost wrote "fun" but then l always have to keep in mind that these videos are profiling the interrogation of people who have committed horrible crimes.
Sometimes the comment sections are hilarious 😂 some people are just as funny as the best comedians. Then you always get people arguing over trivial things which is amusing.
It's so sad when grief stricken ppl think their loved one is a ghost using spirit magic to sway things in their favor.... whatever helps them get through it
Your intros are always great.
She then went on a hunger strike for being denied a nice juicy steak every Monday through Sunday. We have so many entitled people in this country that even criminals have their demands.
wow fifty something days of intentionally hungering shows a deeply disturbed woman. Crazy and it's also crazy to me that they give in. Even tho I understand it, too, cause you don't want a prisoner dying on your watch, but it's still letting her get away with blackmailing and bullying them into getting her way
On the run for 25 yrs. Wow.

Tell me about it!! I bust my ass to make money for others and pay taxes and cant save enough to better my situation because of how incredibly expensive the cost of living is here!! People say i should be grateful for this!! 🖕
Pretty good JCS homage! Definitely one of the better ones I've seen.

When you’re committing a crime the name of the game is cash.
When you’re arrested for said crime the name of the game is lawyer.
The music choices are by far impeccable!!!!!
Such a tragedy, the mother of 3. Definitely not her first murder and if the murderers parents are still with us, I would hope police would be interviewing them too. The way they were just like "I guess she left🤷♀️" after their daughter disappeared.. maybe they knew something
